Property Ratings at Hamptons At Metrowest
Terrible management at the HOA with high employee turnaround. My grandmother owns two properties here to rent and, despite making payments on both at the same time, one apartment magically had a credit while the other had a deficit and was racking up late fees. To make matters worse their system showed that the fees on the credited apartment were paid online, which isn't the case. She never pays with a card in order to have physical evidence of payment. They are stunningly incompetent at best.
This place has been so bad! The management, security, parking, housing and the amenities are the worst. The workers are rude and slow! The place is run down. The prices are high and not worth the value!
I've lived here for a year but never again! Everything is horrible from the parking to security to management to the run down amenities! When we first moved in our mailbox was broken and they took 7 months to fix it. That means we had no mail coming in due to a broken box for 7 months and the front office kept giving me the run around. They first said the work order was in and it will take two weeks for a part. I call back in two weeks and they knew nothing about it. Mind you I kept talking to the same person at the front desk every time. This kept happening for months until they finally fixed it. Next the security is terrible! Always new and incompetent security guards. They shut the gate on people's cars when they don't like them. They have hit my bf car before with the gate but they "are not responsible for damage"! They gave me a violation for asking the security for his badge number because he almost Hit my car with the gate! They are inconsistent with checking ID and calling the residents to ask permission to let people in. And most of them always have an attitude! The parking is horrible! I have to walk two to three blocks almost every night because there are limited spaces. Which is ridiculous because I have a three bedroom but can only get two parking stickers per house. So my roommate has to get a parking pass every 24 hours even though she's a tenant. You will see trash on the ground before the dumpster every day. The pool chairs are all broken and moldy. The jacuzzis are cold and broken. The pools are filthy. The foundations are all made of Chinese dry wall and every building is cracking and Need renovation. There are cracks in the walls and floors. The floors are uneven and creak. The pipes are all sticking out the walls and loose because everything is uneven. The pipes are small everywhere so that everything clogs really fast. Including the shower, sinks, and toilets. For the price of rent I could be somewhere in a nice luxury apartment thats way better than here. All the buildings have bugs everywhere and there are ants all over my apartment since before I moved in. I pass by a jungle of frogs, Geico's and other creatures every day i walk down the hallways. The GYM is CLOSED DAILY from noon to four. Which is ridiculous and it doesn't even stay open late. You also have to bring your id every time to check in even if your a resident. There's is so much more that's really wrong with this neighborhood and it's run down.
The place is nice and clean. Parking really sucks and so does the gate crew. The only internet service available to you is Brighthouse and they have contstant issues. The construction of the place was shabby so there always seem to be issues that need to be fixed, but they usually fix them without to much headaches.
This is a lovely neighborhood, plaza, and part of town. Moving in was done in no time! we applied for a two bedroom and within 6 days we moved in. The security guards are great too, the system didn't have my name in it yet because I had moved in just that day, so I wasn't technically able to give out a visitors pass, and he took the time to walk to my door just to verify I lived here instead of turning away my guest! The entire property is beautiful and well kept.
The Hampton's at Metro west is a nice community, despite the construction, which i lived through and wouldn't recommend to anyone. The units are spacious and living in the front of the community very quite. But the association is very unprofessional, they are not organized and you will told something one day and go back the next and be told something very different. They are changing many of the rules and regulations to make it harder for residents. Even though the community is nice I wouldn't live here again nor recommend it to anyone. Going through the hassle with them is not worth living here.
Being a College student, saving money is definitely a plus! perfectly placed 5 minutes away from my college, 10 minutes away from various Market places and major theme parks. i get to walk everywhere and am able to save up on gas! recreational areas are clean and well kept and the gym is great! With Turkey Lake as our backyard, you can go canoeing or fishing. sunsets over the lake look amazing!
Feels more like a community than most others in the area with the small plaza and restaurant at the entrance. Units are very large and come in a nice variety between apartments, townhouses and carriage homes. Both pools are nicely tucked in corners where it is more private. There is a great walking trail around the lake in the back with a small boardwalk and gazebo as well as a volleyball court on the beach. The gym is huge compared to most and offers one full side of machines, free weights and cables as well as bench and squat rack. The other side is a large variety of cardio equipment. The property is well maintained and secure.
