Property Ratings at Hanover Crossing
We lived here for almost three years. It was awful, we honestly had no where else to go. The apartment we lived in our down stairs neighbors constantly smoked weed and our apartment constantly stunk. And our leasing office did nothing about it but in the lease that's considered a nuisance and if any smells disturb other residents peaceful enjoyment it was going against the lease. And there is dog poop everywhere. The trash compactor is always backed up or broken. And don't even get me started on the amenities that you pay for. The pool is always dirty, (but they pay for a cleaning company to come out once a week) the grass is cut like every 3 weeks in the summer so it's always long, the dog park has so much poop it smells like poop city, the tennis courts with broken nets. They "complete maintenance request" but multiple times they didn't come fix the issue. My freezer was broke for 10 months, so we couldn't use it. Our windows were so old you always feel the draft, and our one window had mold and they cleaned it with bleach and went on. Our whole screen door was covered in mold and was constantly soaked when it rained. They said that's supposed to be like that's. Our HVAC didn't work properly and they said nothing was wrong with it, it got to 80 almost every day in our apartment for a month (in June/July) before they fixed it. If you have a family do not move here, look somewhere else. If you are single and work a lot, it's probably fine. But this place is not family friendly, because if you walk outside your child(ren) will either step in dog poops or you will have to play in the parking lot.
This complex is by far the best community I have ever lived in. The neighbors, maintenance, and leasing staff are very friendly. I love that if I have a problem I can call the manager and get it rectified right away.
Nice place, people are quite. Rent is okay for the area not the cheapest but not the most expensive either. Overall, not a bad place, however not five stars either.
