Property Ratings at Vora Mission Valley West
The lights around the grill areas next to the fire pit are all not working. They shut down the office in this building so the cleaning is getting even worse. I don’t know why we pay so much for terrible service. During the fire inspections they did not lock my door back leaving my apartment vulnerable to theft. It’s really sad to even have to live here at this point. I don’t feel comfortable here anymore. Walk the property and make sure things are working. Hold the cleaning crew accountable. It’s not that hard to do better.
SECURITY IS A PROBLEM HERE. Almost all of the issues at this place could be resolved with a more active mgmt team walking the property and looking into the issues at hand. Like all of the other reviews the common areas should not be used for pets to do there thing. The halls are dirty. They have a cleaning crew who cleans everyday 8+ hours a day and it’s still not clean. Where’s the mgmt. Now one of my biggest issues is my security. I’m on a first floor and this past week alone I’ve had multiple people knock on my balcony door late at night, and somehow they’re getting into the building because I had a person knock on my interior door just yesterday insisting that so and so lived here. The doors are being propped open with rocks. Does everyone still have the door codes the office gave out when the door was broke. If so change it. The courtesy guard is never around when there’s multiple cars outside my door blaring music and all in the street yelling at each other. The parking garage situation is another night mare. There’s always someone waiting by a door or in their car who run up quickly to get into the building. Cars also do the same, they wait at the entrance of the garage for someone to come along and try to tail gate in. For the amount of money that I pay it’s insane to feel like you can’t be at peace at home. They need to really clean this building up and maintain it. As for the security issues I don’t see them even changing the exterior door codes. I won’t be renewing. Please do your research before you sign a lease.
Lived a terrible 13 months for the amount... It was sweet at first, but everyone will realize when they move out. How rude the staff there and charge a lot of money when you move out... I went through things I couldn't see anywhere else... hope you don't regret like me..
Be warned that there is absolutely zero guest parking here, and street parking is nonexistent. So just plan on never having anyone over. There are tons of spots out front for "future residents," but you aren't allowed to park there. The stairwells also constantly smell like dog urine, and no one picks up after their animals here. Great stuff.
I would recommend it because or how clean the apartment and facilities are. Everything in my apartment looks fresh and it looks modern.
Given how much I am paying, I did not expect there to be so much struggle with move in. It's unfathomable to me that the floors would be left that dirty, and that I would need maintenance 4 times in the first few days I moved in. Plus it is quite loud and despite being a non smoking property is isn't enforced. Someone near me smokes pot all the time and I do report it but it is still happening
Nothing in walking distance and rent is too high for area.
The helpful, friendly staff are a huge plus for us!
Everyone is very professional, helpful and friendly. Community is very clean and quiet, our first few days here feels like home already.
The staff is friendly, it's a nice community and they do a decent job with upkeep. The common areas are looking a lot better so kudos to the staff for really beautifying this area. I greatly appreciate this.
I’ve relocated form East Coast recently. Love San Diego. Ladies in the office have made this relocation smooth. Love my apartment, it’s looking at the pool. Very happy.
Awesome apartment and complex! Committed sight unseen and the place turned out to be great. Leasing the apartment was super easy and move-in process it could not have gone any smoother. Thanks for all the help!
Apartments are new. Staff is helpful and they get stuff done. I love that their system is online and I don’t have to always call them.
I would recommend to based on my experience leasing. I am anticipating a terrific experience with Vora.
Pro's -Newer property -Amenities (Dishwasher refrigerator pool gym) -Dog friendly property. Cons -The actual living experience is not so great. The construction is poor. Sometimes I can hear my neighbors walking, showering flushing toilet...in their apartment. -The design of the property building has the look and feel of a college dorm. -Small dog park with a high amount of residents with dogs. -Residents do not clean after dogs. There is poop on the sidewalk. -Package delivery is a mess. All residents receive packages to ONE big delivery room. This can get real messy especially during peak holiday seasons. They sell you on PMB but this is NOT private mail if another resident has to pick thru your package to find their own. Not very high end if you ask me. -Parking...this is okay but they do charge for preferred assigned spaces??? Not worth it. -Neighborhood is seriously lacking. Traffic is backed up to the freeway every day especially during rush hour. Also the traffic to the Home Depot is heavy. Not very many shops nearby so you will need to drive in the traffic. I would recommend looking everywhere else and if you can't find anything stay here. Also I recommend 5th floor apartments only to avoid noise.
Nicest building in the area, brand new. Welcoming people in the leasing office and very helpful
I would. I like the no smoking rules, the amenities are great, and it's quiet.
I lived in Hanover for five months and it’s very nice. My apartment is new and if I need anything maintenance always responds quick and Managment is very helpful.
Cleanliness. Safe. Great amenities, Proximity to all necessities. Close to my work place.
This place has everything a renter could ever need not to mention very reasonable prices for some overly beautiful floor plans!
The Vora Mission Gorge Team always provided great service to their residents. They consistently answered any questions I had and/or followed up with a phone call during my residence at Vora Mission Gorge.
Not only is this property gorgeous, the staff is absolutely amazing. I have followed Natalia and Tye from the old property to this one and I will continue to follow them wherever they go. They put their residents #1 which you don't see at many places. Love the Hanover and I love the staff :)
I love living here! All the amenities that come with these beautiful luxury apartments are amazing and it’s in a quiet neighborhood, so that’s a plus! The staff here at Hanover also makes living here a joy. Tye has always been more than awesome! She’s knowledgeable, helpful and she really goes above and beyond for her residents! I’d ask for her if I was looking to move here.
Very friendly staff & clean safe environment for all;)
Amazing apartment w/ all the luxe amenities you can ask for including genuine, friendly management. However, the area was not suitable for our lifestyle in consideration to walkability.
I am very happy living at Vora Apartments. The apartments and grounds are beautiful and well maintained. There are many services and events to get involved in. Even though the area around us is not as safe as I would like, Vora apartments are safe and have all of the conveniences one could ask for. Mail room, dry cleaning service, beautiful lounge area, pool, dog park, play ground, computer room. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I believe living here is absolutely worth the expense.
The building is amazing, talking from experience as I tried 4 apartment complexes in 2 years. I finally settled at Hanover as the management staff is amazing. I mean they are responsive, respectful, and wonderful! Words might not be enough to describe the management staff. Also, the amenities are great compared to the other apartment complexes around it. All in all, I will definitely not leave this place anytime soon!
I would recommend this complex due to its location and the apartments are very nice and the appliances are new which I enjoy.
Landscaping is the need of lots of work, the balconies of a few tenants have gotten to be a eyesore and very unacceptable, most of the ground patios are filthy and dirty
We really like the new management. The cleanliness and whiteness of the property has dipped a bit, our new downstairs neighbor keeps their Two dogs on their balcony and it barks all of the time and when they close their front door it shakes our entire apartment. I'm unsure if others experience this, but I've are evaluating if we want to stay when our lease is up based on this.
I'm not happy with my experience about the complex, i'm gonna move out as soon as my lease is over that's why.
I have noticed a decline on properties' maintenance since the new company has taken over. One concern is the things left out on balcony such as trash and mattresses....etc. stated on my lease is what is aloud to be had on the patio and many patios have many random articles that make the property seem cheap and dirty. Rent should then be decreased if the aesthetic of the apartment complex is also decreased.
The ceiling and floor are extremely thin, transferring sound to both our apartment and neighbors below. They have complained multiple times about noise, when we have simply been walking around our apartment ! This naturally creates tension and hostility unnecessarily.
I truly believe that the staff is the reason why we resigned out lease for another year! They're personable, professional, and positive! Tina , Jordan , brad , Kim and Christine are wonderful to interact with on a daily basis! Also the maintenance staff is absolutely amazing
The staff is amazing and the property is stunning. I live where I live
For people who are not fond of dogs or cats I would not recommend to live in this community. But for people who loves to pet dog or cat definitely a place to live. I love dogs but the owner who let their dogs pee and pooh close to my unit is not acceptable.
The cleaning of the exterior of the building in general is very bad. The only part of the building that is clean is the front of the building. The staff needs to wash the sidewalks that surround the building. This building is pet friendly something that I love but the administration needs to hire more staff to keep the exterior of the building clean. The hallway carpets are dirty and I think there should be a person in charge only to verify that the entire building is clean. We need security cameras in the hallways for our safety and also to prevent people from letting their pets pee on the carpet in the hallways.
I moved from the Orange County to Hanover Mission Valley about two months ago and my experience has been absolutely outstanding! Not only this place beautiful but the gals in the office are so friendly and genuine!
Absolutely, love this property and team. They are always welcoming and there to help. Thank you HMV team!
It is a beautiful apartment community. The management team is great, all of my concerns are handled right away, and they are nice people. Also, you can't beat the location. Everything is close.
The amenities are good and clean. The surrounding is comparatively safe and peaceful.
I feel that for the money I am paying, little is being done by the management property to go beyond the minimum to make residents comfortable.
I would not recommend this property to ANYONE ever! My experience has been horrible here. I tell all my colleagues, church family, community members, friends & acquaintances about my BAD experience.
