For those who enjoy feeling like a kid again, there's no better neighborhood than Anaheim Resort. The area has it all -- Disneyland, the Anaheim Convention Center, the Honda Center, the Angel Stadium, the City National Grove, Anaheim Garden Walk, Great Wolf Lodge, and a variety of shops, restaurants, and theaters. Add in some of the world's best beaches only 15 miles away, and this Anaheim neighborhood is the place for fun and sun.
Anaheim Resort starts roughly along West Ball Road and extends south to Garden Grove Boulevard. The western edge follows West Street while the Santa Ana River is located along the eastern side. The Outlets at Orange provide terrific shops as well as Dave & Buster's and an AMC theater. Since it caters to tourists and there are a wide variety of hotels in the area, Anaheim Resort is very walkable. It also offers its own mass transit with ART (Anaheim Resort Transport).

Property Ratings at Harbor Cliff Apartments
Absolute amazing community and everyone who spoke to me on the tour were so sweet
The property is absolutely amazing, management made me feel right at home
I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who used to live here. Grounds seemed to be kept up nice and the inside of the apartments were cute and nice but if you want to live in a not so great area, then go ahead. My friends had their car stolen here from a person who happened to live in the same neighborhood behind Harbor Cliff. The guy happened to hop the fence of the apartments and steal their car in the middle of the night. also, their car was locked. Turns out, someone spotted their car being driven by a young guy not even a mile away from harbor cliff and just joy riding the car. My friends called the cops when they found the car eventually down the street in the Ponderosa Park neighborhood and the guy was just sitting inside the car. The cops ended up arresting him and he was booked at the jail but it made my friends so scared. It was a traumatizing experience for them also because that guy was threatening them with gang signs and cussing them out at the scene before they took him to jail. They had to leave Harbor Cliff because of this incident. It's insane that they had to go through something crazy like that in the same neighborhood. So just giving you a warning if you are interested in living here that the outside area can be not that great at times with the Anaheim Police helicopter waking every night patrolling and waking people up at 2am. You would think that the neighborhood would be nicer since it's super close to Disneyland but it just goes to show you that people in that neighborhood behind Harbor Cliff commit crimes in their own neighborhood which is extremely ridiculous and sad.
This is a nice looking complex and I love my apartment here. The proximity to the 5 and 22 freeways is very convenient. But with that said... BE WARNED. The REMM Group took control here in late 2017. I had moved in when it was still managed by the former owner. Their first underhanded tactic was to only offer a 3 month lease at renewal time - with a HEFTY increase. I started noticing tenants moving out then. Of course after 3 months they did offer a 12 month lease but at an even BIGGER increase! Even more tenants fleeing after that! Needless to say that I will be moving out as soon as I can, even if it means having to break my lease! This stretch of Harbor looks nice with all of the hotels and lush landscaping, but for some reason there are a lot of homeless camping around the bus stops. And the surrounding residential area is a little rough and gets a lot of gang graffiti. It's not uncommon for police helicopters to circle nearby both day and night. So it's not like this is an upscale area that merits the higher rent being charged. Another shadowy thing The REMM Group did was to add additional "maintenance fees" on top of the monthly rent, so whatever rent you see listed, add at least an additional $25 bucks to it. Oh, and if you work nights or happen to be home during the day due to illness don't expect to get any sleep or rest! Their maintenance crew spends the day roaming through the complex with their leaf blowers revved up. I have never been bothered by any noise from my neighbors - just the staff. The previous management would give several weeks notice if they had to come into the apartments to change AC/Heater filters or check smoke alarms. The REMM Group crew just shows up and barges in! No respect for privacy! As another reviewer pointed out, there used to be a waiting list to get in here. I know because I was on that waiting list! The REMM Group is just another example of corporate greed out to maximize profit. They do not see their tenants as people, merely a revenue stream.
I completely 100% agree with the recent bad reviews about Harbor Cliff Apartments. I have also been here for around 5 years and have really enjoyed staying here. The previous owner was great and worked so hard to make this property look nice and definitely cared. Now that we have new management, the property is so messy. The grass is dead, there is trash everywhere, and it just doesn’t feel like home anymore. A lot of people have been living here for more than 10 years with their families and have called this place home and loved it before until the new management came in and have been raising up people’s rent like crazy! Someone got their rent raised up by almost $400! Is that even legal? Sounds pretty shady to me. I know it’s expensive to live in Orange County but raising up rent by a few hundred dollars is ridiculous. It’s sad to see all my neighbors move out. We had a great community of neighbors and now they are forcing us all out of here. The new management should be more professional and at least send out letters of “new improvements” that are going to be done to the property like they said they were or at least talk to us about plans or at least introduce themselves better in someway. Opening the emergency gate going out to Cliffwood Avenue to Orangewood is not an improvement. As much as it might be more convenient to avoid traffic on Harbor Boulevard, it’s going to cause even more problems because the Anaheim local gang terrorizes our whole neighborhood and lives in that entire street. Trust me, I’ve done my research about it. You can even look on the crime map and see how bad it is. In the past when that gate was open, the gang has come into our property and broken into cars and have stolen a few cars as well I’ve heard. I’m sad to see this place go downhill. We will not be renewing our lease soon. I just feel so upset and kind of heartbroken about this place but I’m so sick of it now that I feel like it’s time to get out of here. Oh and by the way, don’t even bother about looking at the Yelp reviews online. The recent ones that have 5 star reviews are completely fake and made up. I have been living here for many years now and know pretty much everyone that lives here or seen them around and those people do not live here at all! It’s totally fake. Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. And to all the residents who are seeing this, I hope you will be able to find a great place to live soon. Good luck.
I have lived here for almost 5 years and it was once a hidden gem. Due to a shady deal by Remm the property once privately owned was stolen away. The property used to be beautifuly maintained and well cared for. Now it is disgusting. The garbage areas once nice and clean are slick with garbage and debris. I have almost fallen several times due to the lack of maintenance. Profit is truly the only thing the management company cares about... not its residents. In the time I have lived here I have NEVER seen more that one apartment available and there has always been a wait list.. now there are more than 6 units available. That’s saying something. We are not in the best part of Anaheim, the neighborhood behind us is a gang and drug ridden haven, yet they charge prices you would find in nice parts of town. My advice... stay away. Far away. I know I won’t be renewing.
Everyone who wrote about how wonderful it used to be to live here is right. I have called this place home for two years and was looking forward to renewing my lease. However, they have brought in new management to "make improvements". These improvements include messy dirty grounds that once used to be kept clean and tidy, all of the entry parking is no longer for residents but VISITORS ONLY, but we are free to park in the 6 SPACES WE HAVE inside the gates, oh but wait, we are only given 1 control to get in, but wait, we can give more money to get an extra control... if not, we have the streets to park in, which we have to be extra careful with because many are tow away areas. By the way, NO NOTICE was given to let us know of these new regulations of the parking situation.. This is one "GREAT THING" though, we get a pizza party to meet to the new staff. I don't need pizza!!! I need to park where I live! This place is going down hill quickly. I no longer recommend this place to anyone! Please please please, go somewhere you can live with out feeling unwelcomed each time you come home. The owners of this place are making a huge mistake. Your tenants have lived here and have helped your bank account grow, and now you are practically kicking us out with these ridiculous "new improvements". Again, do yourself a favor and call some other place your home.
