East Fresno is a dynamic neighborhood conveniently placed 10 miles from Downtown Fresno. The Sierra Freeway runs through town and connects East Fresno with other parts of the city, but residents won’t have to travel far from home to get what they need. Shaw Avenue is home to many shopping centers and eateries like Sierra Vista Mall, Windmill Marketplace, and more. The Tuscan Plaza Shopping Center and Windmill Marketplace are located in the northern part of the neighbor near a large medical complex. Fresno Yosemite International Airport, located in the south of town, is another great feature of East Fresno. Fun attractions of East Fresno include the breathtaking Clovis Botanical Garden and Clovis Old Town Trail, a paved path stretching through the neighborhood.
East Fresno is home to many rental options including apartments, houses, and condos. Most of the rentals are situated on the eastern part of town and are available in a range of prices and styles.

Property Ratings at Harbor Pointe Apartments
I really liked living here. It’s clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and very understanding.
Just moved here in may and this is my first time living in a apartment and i love it. It’s new modern, quiet and very safe. Everything is close nearby. Great place to live in clovis
I stayed here only for a few months and had to relocate for work. Anytime I need to come back to Clovis, I know first choice will be Harbor Pointe! Rebeca the manager is very accommodating and goes the extra mile! Maintenance, I didn't have a lot of issues but they were quick to resolve anything if I ever did. I don't know why the negative reviewers are mad about their deposits, I've stayed in many places, some will give full back or partial, but it's cleaning costs which I have no trouble with, I would want a clean place to move into. I do wish there was a larger space for pets, but the area is safe if you want to walk or do some running. The busy street is a little noisey but it was no issue for me honestly. Thank you Rebeca for everything!
Sorry I wrote a long review but there is a lot to say about this place even though we only stayed there for about 6 weeks..... The apartment complex is pretty new. The inside looked clean at first. Until you start living there. My oldest son started coughing after being there for about two weeks. We took him to the doctor and the doctor ask if we were living in a new place or did we have any pets. The neighbor told us the preview tenant had an inside dog. That's when I stared cleaning like crazy and when I clean the baseboards there was dog hair everywhere. When we mention the dog hair to the manger she tried to say that there was no dog there before. Also you have to pay for garbage. Harbor Pointe puts a bill on your door every month. The bill doesn't come from the city. They decide how much you pay for the garbage. The manager gave us a list with the things that needed to be clean before leaving. I did every single thing on that list. On our final walk through she said it looks really clean. The only thing she mention was that the blinds were a little dusty. She said we were only going to be charge for a light cleaning $350 dollars! Even though the only thing she mention was the blinds. She said that their policy is that EVEN though the apartment was clean they still pay a cleaning crew to clean. Its also very noisy is like being next to the freeway. I never got my whole deposit back. If you stay at Harbor Pointe don't expect to get money back from your deposit.
These apartments are pretty from the outside and the inside but if you are facing the street, Temperance, or Ashlan, you will hear a lot of noise throughout the day and into the early morning. I never realized how many muscle cars were in the area and who loved to race down Temperance and Ashlan until 3 or 4am. The noise level is extremely loud to the point where I couldn't hear what my wife was saying and she was sitting right next to me. You will have problems if you are alergic to animals. When we moved in there was dog hair throughout the apartment. I don't believe there is one apartment where are pet hasn't stayed. Supposedly our carpet was steam cleaned but obviously not because we found tons of dog hair everywhere. Last bit, EVERY tenant will have a portion of their deposit held back for cleaning, even if you clean. Deposits are $800 as of 2018 so just count on get less than or up to half of your deposit back, even if you are there for only 2 months. If you would like your security deposit back in full, aren't alergic to animals, and don't mind living in a noisy apartment complex then this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay clear!
I have to say that my apartment here is pretty good. I moved from down south and have been here for several months now. I love the look of the kitchen and how open it is to the rest of the living space. I live alone with my two doggies and they enjoy the outdoor space that the balconies offer. The property doesn't have any grass but that's ok because the neighborhood is so nice and peaceful that we go on early or late night walks. The staff is friendly and takes care of my request fairly quickly. I think I'll stay a while. =)
From the first moment that my husband and I toured these beautiful apartments, we knew that we would call it home! We really enjoyed the warmth and coziness that the apartment provides. We also appreciate the open floor plan because it allows us to enjoy family time. We love watching our children play in the living room as we cook and clean up in the kitchen. With our upcoming year anniversary at Harbor, I would just like to say that it has been a wonderful and peaceful year. The manager, Rebeca, is also great! She is always so kind and helpful. The only downfall that I could think of is that parking is a little far, however, it hasn't been an issue. We have made Harbor Pointe our Home. Truly a great place to live!
My honest opinion, I'll start out with the good things. Gorgeous brand new apartments! Office manager, Rebecca, is amazing, very personable and helpful! Ok that's all! Cons it's about $1500/a month, you might as well live in a house. No secured parking. No grass area for kids or dogs (dog friendly apartments). You have to take your dogs off property to use the bathroom, a far walk if you live in the back. Vaulted ceilings, I kept my AC at 78, turned it off when I wasn't home, my bills every month were $250-$350!! They have a no noise rule, after 10pm and before 8am. I worked nights and came home at 3am, my downstairs neighbor complained she could hear me awake at 3am, I got "talked to" for having a "unusual" schedule that disrupted other tenants. That was just from me walking in, showering, and going to bed. I have a service dog, and was told by the office managers boss, "you know there are people who abuse the service animal exception and get service animals for anything in order to not have to abide by the rules". She also told me my children should be asleep by 8 o'clock because them walking around and making noise later than that disturbs other residents. She was rude! I got two 3 day notices because I pulled my car up by the mailboxes (in a red zone) in order to unload my groceries, otherwise I would have had to walk them all the way across the complex. I even left my car running, just wanted to get my packages in the door and then moved it. Well downstairs neighbor complained and I got a notice saying they would kick me out if me or my guests pulled up right there. Literally the parking situation is the worst if you aren't directly on the outside or ends. It's about half a football field from parking to the temperance side apartments. Lastly, the noise when you live on the street side of the complex. It's horrendous. This is a pretty busy street, lots of loud cars and motorcycles all night and day! I would rather live by an airport or railroad tracks because at least that noise is every once in a while. This noise is all day long, night time is the worst. And as unappealing as it is to live on that side, you don't pay any less than the people who live on the inside of the complex. Absolutely terrible apartments. Do not rent here unless you are kid free, pet free, and don't like peaceful sleep. They also charged me $500 in cleaning when I was told during my walk through it would only need a light clean! Never heard of a $500 light clean!!
Harbor Pointe has a friendly staff and management. We are very pleased we chose Harbor Pointe to be our home.
