Harbor Pointe Apartments

We have lived at Harbor Pointe for almost 5 years. We have had nothing but positive experiences - with our apartment itself, with our neighbors, with the neighborhood, with the maintenance crew, and with the office staff/managers. There have been changes amongst the staff and management team but as a tenant, I wouldn't necessarily know it from the seamless transitions and continued high degree of responsiveness and care for the property that I've observed. I find it extremely peaceful and easy to live at Harbor Pointe and I don't ever think about moving, which is something I have not experienced before. Special thanks to our new property manager, Christiaan, and his assistant, Mia, who recently helped me quickly and efficiently with a leasing question I had. Christiaan was also extremely helpful and responsive during the cold snap we had this winter, when a pipe burst in the basement leaving the building without heat for a short time. Both Neil, the maintenance supervisor, and Christiaan were quick to offer resolution, updates, and assurances that the problem was being fixed. Running a huge complex like this with the attendant myriad problems that must arise can't be easy but I never feel like my concerns aren't important or timely addressed. We will continue to live here enjoying our wonderful lake view as long as they'll have us!

The reason why Harbor pointe is a great place to live is because the apartments are peaceful and the staff is attentive, professional and amazing. These agents in particular, Natilee and Tania run and compliment this place beautifully. I've been here a year now and i've just renew my lease.

Haven’t had any problems since living here for 2 years, everyone in the office has a great attitude and any maintenance problem I had they handled asap.

I stay in a townhome with a lake view and every day feels like vacation....the property is beautiful and surprisingly quiet........ staff is always great!!!!!

The leasing office staff, specifically Brianna, was very helpful & understanding during my circumstances when I had to move out of the apartments before my lease ended. She was prompt to give me answers & feedback and guided me in the right direction to find help. She was always friendly and had a smile on her face when I popped into the office for any questions or when I needed to pick up a package. Little things go a long way.

I have lived in a 2-bedroom apartment for almost a year now and it’s been great. It’s so quiet and the neighbors are friendly. Maintenance is nice and always fixes what we need as soon as they can. The office staff is nice to talk to. The only thing I dislike is littering done by some people when I walk by the lake.

After seeing the beautiful pictures online of the property I scheduled a tour. The picture on the cover is the leasing office, alongside with pictures of the office being shown. I viewed a 1 bedroom after requesting to see a 3 bed. As soon as i walked in there was this awful smell just the appearance made me want to turn around right away, the smell was "garbage" because someone dragged there garbage through the hallway, which is disgusting. The apartment overall was okay cant really say much because I didn't view the one as I requested. The appearance of the apartment was literally nothing as the pictures so to save you time I wouldn't recommend.

I love this place because it is clean presentable and perfect. I think my leasing experience went perfectly. I love my new home. My representative Vanessa was very informative, courteous, and patient with me, I can always run for her to help when it come to my apartent.

This place seemed great at first, clean, gym,pool, looks nice. Well it's not. They only clean out side the buildings if they have a showing. Any time after it is disgusting. And good luck getting water pressure on 2nd floor. And you like going to the gym? Well only half the the stuff works. And even without the covid the pool was never open. Like 2 of the staff members are nice and the rest are not. There are so many other stories I could tell you but I dont have the time and when you rent this place you sign the year lease 5 months before your lease is up you need to resign or your rent goes up.

I used to live in Habor Pointe Apartments back in 2000, lived there for 4yrs or so. Back then the property was really nice, well maintained. All of the tenants and staff were friendly, little to no police presence. During my 4th year there I began to notice a different vibe around the property. More police on the presence due to domestic issues or break-ins. The tenants in the high rise building getting robbed. So that's when I decided that it was time to move somewhere else. I did look into coming back a couple of years ago, but the place is run down. And they charge for everything now, gas, water electric & parking in the garage. When I lived there gas, water and a parking spot in the garage was included, you only paid for your electric.

Every night we would double lock the front door and door to the garage and in the middle of the night they would bang open. I had an item thrown at me when no one was in the room, I closed one of the doors that kept opening and something kept violently hitting it from the other side. I had items move on their own, literally float through rooms, and had a family member wake up several times unable to move saying something was pinning him down. Also when no one was home we would hear family members voices calling, literally mimicked. While we lived there, after all those things happened a car went off the road and all the passengers died. The police said there was no reason for that accident as they were not going too fast or driving impaired and no weather conditions. Not too long ago a man took his new born and walked into the lake and drowned his child. Every time I would walk my dog around the lake it would stop at odd points and start barking at thin air. There is no doubt in my mind these places are haunted.

Attention people don't waste your time and money, run for your life. The apartments are not well kept, things fall apart nothing ever gets fix, the club house is useless, pool never works, exercise equipment is simply broke, lazy management and very unprofessional. The people in the area are flat out gang bangers , a lot of robbing and stealing.

RUN!!! do not rent here if you want peace of mind, quite atmosphere and overall decent place to live. The area has become very run down and the dangerous to live in. Police are constantly being called, children are uncontrollable and loud. Lived there 3 years and at this point it is rare to get a night gun shot free. Office employees are great at taking your rent but nothing more. Maintenance is around and they are pretty good at fixing things but from time to time you will have calls that go unanswered when it comes to getting things fixed. buildings need updating and overall a good cleaning. Not sure what the issue is with them keeping door knobs but most of the entry doors to the garage, basement and common areas are always missing. The club house is nice, and they do get your packages and hold hem for you. Rent seems to increase every year but the amenities do not, nor does the upkeep of the property. your best bet would be to rent someplace else.

This place in the beginning when you sign up its all good. Once we moved we instantly had issues with the stove and the sink in the kitchen. On top of that they did the rent payment is stupid. They add all the water, trash, sewer, and gas in the bill with rent. Online it says one thing but once you live here your bill say something else. If you talk to management some of them are nice greet you with a smile but some have attitudes and just mugs on there faces. Also it is not quite over here there are guns shots fired over here and loud music everyday all day. People constantly ringing the buzzer to be let in. Also the appliances are not up to date either.

After living in downtown Milwaukee for a year, I decided to look for some place quieter and a little more off the beaten path. Harbor Poibte had showed up during my initial search so I decided to see it for myself. The pictures don't do it justice, it's even prettier than they make it. They also don't show the friendly community, the kind maintenance and office staff, or the neat little features that make these Apartments so cool: patios, balconies, walking trails, fishing spots, dog parks, and heated underground parking. My dog and I love it here. There are plenty of places to walk without worrying about traffic. We feel safe and often encounter Milwaukee police patrolling the area to keep it that way. Whenever my friends come to visit, they want to talk about how awesome this place is compared to where they have moved. All in all, if city life is wearing you out, come move here!
