Property Ratings at Harbor Village Apartments
No hot water for a few days once in a while. When you email the manager the suggests that you vacate instead.
Not a good apt. to live at. Poor Mgmt. and service at this Apartment. Water is either cold with no Hot or no water on all together.
Trying to get an appointment here is a nightmare. We made two appointments to see an apartment and both times there was nobody there. Completely unprofessional. Skip this place.
The manager right now is lazy. She is just sitting at the office and doesn't even bother to answer the call, because when ever I look at the sliding door I can see her just sitting there. She is lying when she says she will send a maintenance to fix the problem but they never come. She's always in a hurry when you tell her the problem that needs to be fixed she doesnt want to talk to anybody. I wish I can talk to the management and tell them about the manager that they hired. She never fixed the problem with our patio it has been 1 month already. It takes a long time before any action is taken to solve our problems. She doesn't take into consideration about the problems that happen in the apartments.
I absolutely do not recommend this apartment complex! There is a roach infestation, terrible management, maintenance fails to do their work orders, residents HAVE TO PAY FOR THEIR OWN PLUMBING and it’s always difficult to speak to someone. If you look up the management company to file a complaint it doesn’t even show up online and no one wants to give you information. TERRIBLE
First, when I tried to move in, I was served by a leasing officer who was very rude and unhelpful. She misplaced our leasing application multiple times. I was a student just going into college, so I did not have any employment or previous credit information - she insisted on having proof of employment. Also, the leasing office is never open during open hours - just unreliable and irresponsible. Secondly, they recently went through some management changes or something. They made no notice about it until a week before the change and proceeded to do a repaint of the parking lot. We weren't able to park in the parking lot from 9~6pm, without giving us any other parking options near the area - basically kicked out of the parking lot. And with no notice again, they proceeded to change the gate key for the parking lot. They gave us 3 days for us to go to the leasing office that is just never open to replace our keys. On top of that, we were forced to register for our parking spots again. Just not good business going on. Finally, I've requested to fix our sink disposal 3 times, they never fixed it properly. Our disposal never worked properly since we moved in. When we submitted our move-out notice, they told us they would not fix the disposal, and they'd just take $25 dollars off of our security deposit because of that. Very nice! On the houses, the house is really old. Walls are paper thin, you can hear everything that's happening outside. And there are a lot of cockroaches and bugs. A LOT. Neighbors are terrible. Majority of them just keep their doors and everything open. You can hear EVERYTHING. Also, they just cook some really smelly food and it comes into your house. DISGUSTING. On some nights, some houses just blast their music and have a party. There are a lot of kids. They play ball outside, right in front of your windows. Absolutely horrendous and unacceptable - there's no privacy, no idea of quiet time. On top of that, when I asked them to move away from my window to play soccer, they literally said: "I've done this for the past 24 years we lived here and you don't get to tell me what to do!" and started talking in Spanish. Then the whole household came out and started to argue to me that I was being rude telling them to move away to play soccer. Then they proceeded to talk to the tenant living on top of me, somehow justifying their clause of playing & speaking right in front of my door window, causing more loudness. Just terrible.
