Property Ratings at Harborstone
Keep on searching, because these apartments are nothing you will want to see…… Harborstone is by far one of my regretful rental decisions. Red flags were everywhere and we are definitely paying the price, by not running away when we had the chance. Rent here is you are okay with……. 1) kicked in door frames to multiple doors including the front door…… Where is the security in a front door that has little to no integrity….. after 6 months (maintenance) finally shows up to take care of the (quotation fingers) service order just to add two screws to the already cracked door frame…… Thanks for nothing 2) subpar paint retouching Clearly the tenant before loved pulling paint off of doors….. we reported this as well 6 months ago and it had been radio silence…. 3) Patio door screen has a huge hole in it….. not to mention part of the patio ceiling has come down….. of course it was reported and you’ve guess it ……radio silence….. Please when considering moving to these apartments, do yourself a favor and DON’T!!!!!! You will find out the hard way…..don’t let the front office make you empty promises about work orders once you get moved in……that is a really funny joke around here….. PS…… A responsible property owner choosing to renovate portions of their property, should never disregard the safety and standards of the older property tenants awaiting renovation….. Pss……. Not to mention, the loud music throughout the day and at night. Right now it’s 12:38am and someone is blasting their music…. Good luck if you have school age kids…… do better Harborstone

Lived here for several years. Was hoping a change in management would make it better but, it did not. The office staff rarely answers and if they do they just pick up and hang up on me. Maintenance is non existent. Though they tend to the outside visuals of the place, they DO NOT take care of residents. I've been without a stove and dishwasher for 8 months! My bathroom is peeling and coated in black mold and falling apart!. DO NOT MOVE HERE.. ITS A LIE.
Moved here and lived her for two years. Earlier this year, I decided to move out of the State. I put my 60 day notice in. Everyone in the office spoke to me like normal. Laughing and being friendly towards me. Once I moved away and hadn't heard anything back from them, I decided to give them a call. I was told to contact their collections. When I contacted them, they stated I owed over $1300. I was told that I had not put in a 60 day notice. When I tried reaching out to the office, they kept telling me that it was an issue with corporate and they are trying to get it straightened out. Well, corporate literally laughed at us and told us that the apartment staff was lying to us. Then when I tried to contact them again, no one would answer the phone, like they were screening my calls. But when I dial from another number, they miraculously answer. Also, I have never seen maintenance respond to anything faster than when my neighbor got murdered on our steps because they never respond to any calls that quickly. Beware renting here folks.
The apartments are a nice size the maintenance staff is always available and office staff is great
APARTMENTS ARE REALLY NICE I WOULD RECCOMEND! RENT IS VERY AFFORDABLE. BEST NEW MANAGEMENT EVER I ENJOY BEING HERE...
I love living here.. great staff and nice community
I have lived here for two years, we moved in when my son was a week old and i was clearly pregnant when we did the application but they put me in an apt below someone that would stomp all night long, which we got used to so it was no big deal. the neighborhood kids would rub sand and dirt on my new car and scratch it, you will hear gun shots go off outside of your window at 2 am, i had to get my own bug repellent because the stuff that they used didn't work. if the maintenance had to do something that they had to come back a second day to finish they took their time, i'm still waiting on them to come fix my carpet after my hot water heater busted and water flooded the hallway and part of the master bedroom and living room. the furnace has to be fixed every year instead of them putting a new one in (at the beginning of summer and winter, so twice a year) the office NEVER answers the phone we always have to walk to the office even for something simple and they tell us we should of called maintenance. if you do not have a decal in your car (you only get one) your car gets towed, and if you park on the street by the school you better get up at 6 am to move your car or you'll get a ticket. we were going to move out after the first year but they promised that the problems we were having would be taken care of which was a lie so now that our lease is up for the second year we are running and not looking back. i could go on but i think i made a good point.
The staff in the office are rude !! They will try make you run for your money...the apartments are ok other than the rats and other pest that seems to always find a way into the apartments...it's not worth your money . The mantinence are lazy as well you have to ask mutiple times to get things fix correctly!!!
This is a terrible place to live. My neighbor smokes weed that vents directly into our apartment... We have a newborn. She also slams doors and cabinets and plays music loudly all day and night. We called management at least four times and never saw any action taken. We also called maintenance to fix our light and dishwasher... Still waiting for that to happen. There were multiple break ins and shootings that management pretended to not know about. They also tried to raise our rent without notifying us AND there are TONS of roaches. Disgusted with our experience.
i move to harper landing in oct3 an i love it. the staff is so nice good to deal with an niki the best.love all the staff they are so nice. apt9a.
DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! Office staff is beyond ratchet and unprofessional even down to the property manager!! They will try to scam you out of money any chance they get and the apartments are run down and raggedy! I only moved here because this was a rush move from Richmond due to a job transfer and they were the only complex that had units available for a reasonable price. But I swear you get what you pay for!!!
well I can't tell you much tried contacting this place several different times over a two week period left emails and voicemails never heard back very disappointed had to move on as I needed a place to live asap!
I went to view this apartment, the inside was lovely. It is what anyone could as for. Although, the only downfall was that the area and outside appearance was not up to par. Other than that k loved it.
A good community if you are starting off new or having to start over from a divorce, etc! Rent is cheap! Close to shopping, military bases, schools, hospitals, restaurants and entertainment!
They have roaches sucky maintenance alot of crime nothing for the children to do keeps switching owners security is a joke best thing
