Dubbed “the Heart of Georgia” due to its central location and Southern hospitality, Macon is approximately 90 minutes south of Atlanta. Recognized for its renowned musical history, Macon is the location where many artists like the Allman Brothers Band and Jason Aldean got their big break. After all, Macon is the city “where soul lives.”
Just like its passion for music, Macon believes in top-notch education. This city is home to a number of college campuses, including Mercer University and Middle Georgia State University. This family-friendly city boasts excellent public schools as well. Residents and visitors alike adore Downtown Macon for its small businesses and historic sites including restaurants, services, and specialty shops like Parish on Cherry, serving up the best gumbo in the city.
The Big House is a major attraction that celebrates the musical career of the Allman Brothers Band, while the Hay House and Cannonball House represent the city’s architectural history.

Property Ratings at Harbour Club Apartments
The staff is very attentive to our needs and the property is kept nicely! We love the location, our apartment, and the view!
I gave it 2 stars because the assistant manager did try to help me find a decent apartment and the neighborhood is very quiet, those are the only pluses. These apartments are full of bugs, cobb webs, and trash is ALWAYS backed up at the compactor. The apartments are in desperate need of upgrades. Roaches galore and I could never pinpoint where they were coming from. The manger lives out there and you would think that she would really care about where she lives. Maybe she does, I had to keep in mind that she and the assistant don't own the apartments, the only manage and can only do so much. I'm glad I moved before Spring and Summer because the compactor will have an enormous amount of flies, bees, wasps, and whatever else. Once I could do better I did, thank God!
this apartment has made my head hurt its full of roaches / water bugs due to the nasty lake they say my apartment had 3 leaks in the bathroom which the toliet messed up my rugs with the puddles of water they just told me to dry it with my dryer which I didnt have one at the time so I had to throw the wet rugs out When I first move I was told the gate would get fixed they took them out also my rent went up after a year its noisy I complained about parking several times nothing was done my neighbor door was broken into people sit in the breezeway to smoke weed and cigarettes I was also told pest control come out to my apartment every month...they had me thinking they will come to my apartment every month NO THEY MEAN 1 building per month which is crazy as it get cold Nov and Dec you wont see alot of bugs but summer times its unreal wish I could post pics dont waste your money
I have lived at this apartment complex for 5 years and hated very minute of it. I wish I could afford to move but I am stuck here. None of the machines work in the fitness center, the TV doesn't work, and the water fountain is broken. I enjoyed the pool for 1 season before they removed it. When I moved in the gate was broken but I was assured that it would be fixed. It has never worked a day since I moved in. The maintenance people are the worst you will ever deal with. Every time someone moves out upstairs something leaks into my apartment. I've had my ceiling replaced 4 times in 5 years. Apparently maintenance doesn't know how to properly shut off water on ice makers and washing machines. My power bill is always high because the apartment has no insulation. Parking is sparse and I always have to park in the visitor parking. The “car wash area” is a small concrete slab with no water hook-up. Not sure how you are supposed to wash your car without water. Save yourself the frustration.
I am a single woman and I have been living here at Harbour Club Apartments for the past year. The apartments are a little older but well maintained. They have a great office staff. They have a 24 hr. maintance line for emergencies. I feel very safe living here because there is a Security officer available 24 hrs. a day. The prices of the apartment are excellent compared to neighboring apartments. I will renewing my lease again. I love living on the Lake.
I moved my daughter who is in nursing school into Harbour Club back in August 2015 and she has nothing but problems. The tub in the apartment above her has a crack in it and all the "maintenance" man has done is put baindaid after bandaid on the problem. Oh how I wish I could post photos and videos...last night she sent me a video of water dripping from the "fix" they have done more than one time. Maintenance is a joke. Rip out the tub above her and replace it!!!!! Hello. All of her toiletries are getting ruined. Last week she called me because there was water leaking from under her bathroom sink. They said it was because people were dumping grease down the drains. This evening I got another frantic call from her because the kitchen sink was flooding her apartment and there is nothing the "maintenance" man can do until morning. I am a single white woman and if I lived in Macon I could fix the problem once and for all. Once again, all of the stuff she stored under the kitchen sink is ruined. Who's gonna pay for that??? Harbour Club is going to pay for everything of her's that has been ruined due to their negligence and they are going to pay the moving expenses to move her to a place that is better managed. These are not the only problems she has had since living there. I questioned the rental agent about the safety and she assured me it was safe. I don't think so...people are always asking her for rides or if they can buy her car. I would buy her a gun, but...I bought her a giant can of pepper spray this past weekend when I visited and witnessed what goes on there with my own two eyes. STEER CLEAR of this place if you place any value on your life or belongings. It is a disaster and very DANGEROUS unless you are packing a glock which I was when I was there.
I moved here in jan with my husband and kids and I love it here. People are nice and friendly. They have a volleyball court. The bedrooms are big and we have a walk in closet for the master and A big wide one for the kids room. The fridge, stove/oven, microwave and dishwasher is already furnished for you. They have maintenance if anything tears up. But they usually take forever to get to you. We live on the lake and your only 2-3 mins from lake tobosoffkee so u can go swimming or fishing and there is a playground there too. We are 3-4 mins from dollar general and 10 mins from all the restaurants and the grocery stores like walmart and kroger. I always go walking so nobody bothers us. It's a very nice place to live and very convient!
