A seaside city along the Pacific, Huntington Beach is known for its miles of white-sand beaches and fabulous California climate. Nicknamed “Surf City,” people from all over the world come to catch waves and hang ten on its pristine beach. The U.S. Open of Surfing competition is held in Huntington Beach during the summer.

The worst place I have ever rent it. The leasing office has the rudest and most unethical staff I have ever dealt with. They forget to mention that the moment you sign your lease with them you will lose all your deposit and may have to pay more money above the deposit. My $500 deposit went away for Apt painting (prorated charge even if the apartment doesn’t need it), apt cleaning, and carpet shampoo. I never have to pay that much before and the max before was $150 for 5 years lease. I thought at the first it was a mistake because I only stayed for one year so I called the leasing office and left a massage they never return my call so I called again and I spoke with the manager she didn’t even asked what is my apartment number is and she started giving more stories about the reason for the charges. Despite I hired a professional cleaner to clean the apartment they still charge me for the cleaning and when I asked the manager, she told me this why we encourage the residents not to clean their apartment when they are moving out so I told her nobody told me that. She replied back she cannot do anything about it. This is the first time I encounter a parking gates that doesn’t open automatically if you are leavening the parking lot and if your remote battery died out you cannot leave the parking. The first day I moved in one resident got mad and rammed into the gate and break it to leave the parking. The security in this place doesn’t exist there was a couple of homeless guys roaming through the building’s garbage which is located in the building parking lot every day at night time. When I was moving out one of them stopped me and asked for some money to buy food. Apartments are cheaply built and the appliances keep failing. Laundry room has 5 washers, and 4 dryers for about 200 residents the only time I can find empty washer is after 11PM. The only things good about this place is the availability of parking and its closeness to the beach. AVOID THIS PLACE or you will regret it like I did!!!!!
You don't want to live here. Avoid at all costs. During this pandemic, Harbour Lights has given us a notice to renew for a year or have a rent increase of over $200 per month if we decide to do month to month. I've lost my job due to the pandemic were in which leaves only my husband paying the bills. I've explained our situation to them. No empathy what so ever. How many other residents have had their rent increased by that much? Sounds like to me that they are either using this pandemic to trap people into signing a contract they can't afford or we are being singled out. The apartment manager entered our home March 12th with no notice. No call to me or to my husband. Took advantage that my 70 year old mom was home babysitting our 11 month old baby and entered our home. Total disregard in respecting tenants personal space. I saw him on our baby camera monitor enter with another man. It scared the heck out of me when I saw this! This property was in great shape before the new manager arrived. Nikki was an awesome manager and anything good about the building itself, in my opinion she should get credit for. Elly, Brian, Anna, Adriana, Edgar, Maintenance & housekeeping Good Job. Management, poor job and thank you for the 1 hand sanitizer dispenser outside YOUR office. The heck with the 4 or 5 tenant buildings is what that says. Lame.
Just moved here about a month ago and we love it here! Brian is amazing!! He took the time to show us the apartment and was always available to help us through the process.He was so helpful and made the process so easy. The whole staff Anna, the manager extremely professional, helpful and very friendly. The location is so central walk-able shops, Trader Joe’s, restaurants and 5 minute drive to the beach. They maintain a safe and beautiful environment. The maintenance staff is super quick to help with issues. Overall this is a nice apartment with super friendly staff and good amenities.

I've been here for over 6 months and the facility maintenance team have been very good. Adrianna and Anna keep our building very clean. They clean our hallways, elevators, laundry areas stairwells, parking garages and all common areas. They are always friendly and polite. The landscape is always beautifully maintained. Elly and Brian in the property management office are friendly, honest and professional but I do really wish Nicky was still here. She had the same good qualities.

I've been here a year and have been completely happy. The office staff and the maintenance team are always available and freindly. The office is always quick to get maintenance over to fix anything from a clogged train to burnt out light. Maintenance keeps the place looking great! My only disappointment was the raise in the rent after a year was $25 to resign my lease or $240 more to go month to month. Neighbors are very friendly and very good pet owners.
To live here is like living in Hawaii. Very pretty and green. All the staff and other tenants are very nice . It is located to all access of places you would need to shop. They have something to offer to entertain the tenants and holidays they go all out. I feel safe here and they do have security around the clock. As for laundry and throwing out trash and mail they have access to where you never leave your building. Very nice pool and BBQ available too.
An older building,built in the 70's and the pipes are proof of that, but the area is awesome and the pools are sweet. It's quite close the the beach and if your on the right side of the building the breeze just blows through.There is Trader Joe's, banks and some pretty cool place to eat with in walking distance .Pets are welcome. there is pet rent, a putting green and BBQ's.A few times a year the management throws party's, kind cool
My husband and I moved into Harbour Lights in the beginning of March of this year, and we both love it. The grounds are very well maintained, as well as the apartments themselves. Three times I've needed maintenance to come fix things ( broken chain on toilet, garbage disposal not working correctly and tub varnish peeling) and each time they were there the very next day with brand new parts to fix it all up. The area is very quiet, I never have had any disturbing neighbors. A lot of the other tenants I meet have lived here for years. Most people here have (very well behaved) dogs, which I think is great. The layout of the apartments themselves have a good layout, bedrooms are a nice size. My only complaint is that I wish we had gas stoves instead of electric. All in all though, this is an awesome place!
