I have called and emailed corporate numerous times to resolve issues within this community yet I have heard nothing back. I am dealing with roaches everywhere, a broken door that doesn’t lock, there have been various heroin overdoses on the property, multiple violent rapes behind a dumpster that is 15 yards from my apartment, neighbors who don’t care about my property, squatters on the property doing drugs, an a/c system that can’t keep up with the heat. I’m fed up and the front office refuses to let me break the lease. Corporate refusing to return my phone calls leads me to pursue a law suit if this is not handled immediately. WORST complex I’ve ever lived in and worst corporate office.
0 stars. 18 months of hell. I'm on a lower income bracket. I had to pay a bigger deposit. $556. They steam cleaned the mildew carpet which was evident after a few days when the smell returned due to a hole in the tub that was never fixed. The closet, next to the bathroom was full of mold not suitable for clothing nor blankets. I was charged for an alarm that the alarm company said was too old to be activated. I had a separate mailing address, I paid for, but was forced to pay for there's. Half the outlets didn't work. Out of curiosity I removed the cover to find it was full of "roach carcasses" to the brim. So disgusting. I was sent a notice to pay a fine for trash bags i didn't leave and for a dish that was already there upon renting. When I tried to explain they said, we don't rent out dish. There is much more to tell. After all this they send me a bill for over $1K! Lordscum. Don't rent here. Run!

I was having an email conversation with a nice lady that works in the office, I won't name names. I got all the information I was looking for I even made a point to get exact extra fees and what rent would really be. I know of an exact unit I'm looking into. I make an appointment for a tour. I arrive first thing I'm "greeted" to is a voice in an office saying she'll be right with us. Twice. It was only a minute but it was not a good first impression. You cannot get up and greet future residents? Introduce yourself? Then tell us you need a minute. Let us feel welcome and like you want our business at least a little. She comes out of the office to the front still hasn't introduced herself. She was not wearing a face mask. My family was wearing a face mask to be respectful of course. I told her we had an appointment to tour a unit type that I listed in the booking. She said they didn't have any available to show. Also the price I was quoted in the emails from another employee was off from this persons information by a almost 200 dollars off from what I was told prior to coming. She was rude and careless about trying to assist us. We said ok that's too expensive for us and we left. So it was a disappointment and a waste of time. So anyone looking to go here don't trust emails or phone calls I suppose. Just go in person and get the facts straight from their mouths.

STAY AWAY!! I after 1 month of moving in the entire apartment was roach infested! I would wake up to swarms of roaches on my kitchen floor all over my apartment I wouldn’t want anybody to come and visit me! When the pandemic hit I was forced to stay in this apartment trying to survive the red ugly fours no microwave alarm is not working valet trash never comes but you pay for it dog poop everywhere. I finally was able to move out and to my surprise they sent me to collections and ruining my credit for a move out fee that I was not aware that I owed. Do not move here if you wish to live with roaches and have your credit ruined. They have no remorse especially for the fact that the entire world is going through a pandemic.

Disgusting!! Nothing was replaced or cleaned property before we moved in. We did get to see the apartment before they fixed and cleaned it but the only difference was the carpets where shampooed. The first night we stayed we did see roaches and make a report. They did send an exterminator but nothing changed!! It only got worse!!! and no one had come back to fix the problem or responded back to us about a time and date on when the exterminator will come back. I’m sure most apartments are interested and hasn’t had any proper treatment. Lots of other things need change within the appointments like replacing the old carpets and old broken blinds. The list could go on, it’s best to avoid this appointments I wish I did

Water is turned off without warning or explanation. I called the office, left my phone number and requested management call me back with an ETA of when water service would be restored. Did i get a call, nope. They called my wife at work and asked her "is some man in your apartment?". When i called the office back my inquiry was met with a very snide and condescending"first of all.." comment. When i requested the property managements pgone number i was notified that " you can look it up" condescending reply. Wake up with no water and the people in the office couldnt even call the resident back at the phone number provided, and ive yet to get a phone call. Very poor customer service skill displayed by the person that answered the phone. Sincerly _ "Some man".

I was leased an apartment with broken appliances. The bathtub had a huge crack and water leaked into the ground floor. It took over a month for management to "schedule" for the tub to fixed. I was instructed to leave my apartment for 8 hours to avoid inhaling and harmful fumes from the repair. I made arrangements for me, my family, and my pets. 8 hours later, we return to the apartment to see the bathtub untouched. Management claims they "dropped the ball" and insisted we make 8 hour arrangements again during the midst of this pandemic. The apartment is also infested with roaches, many patches in the floor are cracked, the dishwasher leaks onto the floor, the kitchen cabinets are eroded, and drawers are broken. The way management is handling the repairs is extremely unprofessional. The front office never answers the phone and rushes you out of the office when you try to complain in person. Move anywhere else but here. Terrible location.

I have lived here for a year when it was Chatham Village, renewed my lease and another company bought them out. Had I known, I would have moved elsewhere by any means necessary. I went through this with my last apartments where they said an online portal for payments would be available and then it isn't, and also having the pleasure of see them advertising remodeled units and I have old appliances. I went to the office on the 3rd to pay in person, and without notice they closed at 2 PM because they wanted to start celebrating the 4th I guess, no notice to the tenants other than a note on the door that I should have known would be there. When this ownership took over they put 10 pages of documents on my door including a supposed online portal for payments. No such item is available. For the inconvenience, they're not charging late fees but I have to inconvenience myself by purchasing a money order and I was advised I should have paid on the 1st even though I have until the 3rd and they didn't communicate they're closing early. On top of that, every time it rains the parking lot floods and in May my car got wet inside just sitting parked and I was bit by a neighbor's dog the same weekend because the resident didn't have it on a leash yet she continues to live here after the lease violation, and she apologized to the office and not myself. When I first moved in, I was working on my patio and the door locked itself from the inside due to it is defective, but it was never replaced and I have to prop something in the door to prevent from being locked out again. Someone in our building smokes weed incessantly and has our townhouse smelling like skunk all the time. They can't keep tenants in the section I'm in, people are constantly moving out. I see why.
They wait two years after I moved out with 60 notice, all fees paid, "account closed out", signed documentation from RACHEAL former manager, apartment cleaned and pics taken. They fraudulently sent my information to collection without warning. I'm so glad I still have all my documents to dispute. Please dont move here it is extremely trashed and roach infested.
I am a resident of Chatham Village apartment and have been for over 2 years. I love living here for various reasons. First of all is the location. It's close to good schools, shopping centers, the mall and tons of restaurants. The management at Chatham Village also makes it a pleasure to live here. They are very prompt in solving any issues, including maintenance, we have. I also like the different types of events they host for the children. This is a very loving and warm place to live at.
I lived here for about 3 year and love it. I enjoy living here because of the amazing staff and the maintenance guys because they understand me and I don't get upset over little stuff. I'm a happy person who understand that I doesn't go our way so I choose to act like an adult and not get mad. I'm happy to call Chatham home. Remember we live in a apartment community not a home. Let choose Joy!
Great place to live. It is a small and well kept property. Staff is very helpful. My apartment is close to the garden it's a nice view.
I have been living here for two years. The property is really well kept, management is friendly and maintenance always takes care of my service requests. It has been a great place for my family!
No major issues here. Quiet, family friendly and very well kept! The only down side to the complex is the drainage. With a normal storm you're great. But if I rains for awhile, the parking lots will flood. Have a high sitting car or good insurance.
I have been leaving here on this apartment for 1 yr half there are clean.. But when you call for maintenance it takes a while for the to come and when they come they don't fix the problem.Office people are ok... They always look clean..
