If you love to shop, you’ll love living in Arboretum. At the heart of this neighborhood, you’ll find The Arboretum, a popular shopping destination located off Highway 183 in north Austin. Great location so close to groceries such as HEB and Trader Joe’s. A 15 minutes drive to The Domain is a plus for this community. The landscape is wonderful with so many trees so it’s kind of cool in the summer.

My only problem is the bugs sometimes but that probably comes in part with the wildlife I get to see from my balcony! Otherwise any other problems that I have faced have been promptly resolved. But the front gate hasn’t closed in months and that is annoying!

This is a professional, friendly community, which is always clean and welcomes the stranger who is looking for living accommodations. I only wish they had a bit better lighting at night. I once came back late in the evening--walking from the bus stop outside this community, and it felt really dark!! I should carry a flashlight!

so far I have had a really smooth transition into my new apartment. It was easy to apply online. Everyone in the office was super helpful and nice and I have no complaints about the property yet! It feels very safe and quiet but conveniently located near so much stuff. The walls are super thick so I don’t hear any of my neighbors. The apartment is spacious and I am super happy with my decision.

I am going on almost 3 years here and I absolutely love living here. The location is the best ever. Close to the Domain, Arboretum, HEB, target, Costco, Sam's and dozens of restaurants. The community is quiet, parking is great, 3 pools, carwash station, and the dog wash room is the best. The folks up in the office are always helpful and have never been rude in anyway to me . My dogs love the pet park and mostly the trails all around the neighborhood. All in all great places to live.

Hardrock Canyon is in a great location, and it really well landscaped. I feel like I'm living in a treehouse, which I love. That said, rent is pricey, maintenance is responsive but will perform the cheapest fix possible (literal duct tape) to avoid replacing something that's broken. Management is also inaccessible and unbending on policies no matter the circumstances. We had a bad experience with them after a flood in our apartment, which wasn't fixed for months. They refused rent credit and did not keep us updated on their repair timeline.

A few bumps, but I think that is normal for every apartment complex. The staff is very helpful and quick to reply. Grounds are well kept and always clean. Parking is a little wonky but I never have to park too far away. Overall a really good place to live and will continue to renew my lease as long as I can.

Clean, quiet, spacious floor plans with complex close to favorite stores! Great High School! Staff professional and get quick responses in appropriate timing of left messages. Love the HUGE dog park!! Just moved in and haven’t checked out the gym, laundry, office area, car wash and pet wash area. I enjoy the community so far and expect to keep my feet planted here.

Location is great, but communication from staff is spotty. Entrance gates are often not working, and the Morado Cir. gate has been open for months. Would also love to have compost on the property, if that were possible.

Great location, close to restaurants, entertainment and many other cool spots. Complex is quiet, amenities are awesome. Best thing you really do not hear your upstairs neighbors. Condo specs, 3 pools. Mgmt is friendly, maintenance does a good job. Plenty of places within walking distance. Pet friendly. I really have enjoyed living here and recently signed a new lease

Hardrock Canyon Apartments is a very friendly community. It is a quiet community, very pleasant to function as "home." It is always kept clean and safe. The location is very convenient. There are three city buses going by, and the bus stop is almost outside the main gate on Jollyville Rd. (I personally do not have a car. I commute by bus and walking.) There is a great HEB close by, that was upgraded in the last two years, and an exercise center. Also, Barnes & Nobles is close by--across Great Hills Trail, along with a host of other stores--a beauty shop, a coffee shop, and small department stores. It's a great location with good people!!

Great apartment complex, very quiet and I feel safe taking my son for walks around the property. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy and beautiful views. A bit expensive compared to nearby properties and a better fence around the edge by the power lines would be great but overall a great place to live.

Rent keeps going up each rental cycle. One year, it went up by over $600/month. I love the location, and for the most part the apartments are quiet and drama free.

My apartment has natural light, and bay windows. The balcony is roomy with extra storage. Although the building is lithe old, most of issues were swiftly addressed by the maintenance team. The staff are warm, attentive, and always willing to help. The location is ideal, with H-E-B, Trader Joe's, and shopping centers just around the corner. Definitely recommend HC!

Hardrock Canyon is a friendly, clean, and safe community. There is a great HEB right across the street, a church, and three different buses serve this community and access UT. Barnes & Nobles is across the street, and a shopping area across the street from the bookstore. And Central Market is within reach, if you have a car or are willing to take the us.

Lived here since Spring of 2022 and it still feels like home! Maintenance is always super fast and kind (all the staff are) and you can tell they care a lot about what the residents think and how we feel. Thank you for handling the parking and towing with respect and class. Beautiful property that goes the extra mile from the little dangling tree lights at night to the doggy bags for puppy poo! 5 stars again from me!

Beautiful Neighborhood, love all the trees and cozy feel of it. It had a different vibe from other neighborhoods, and the staff are very friendly.

Location is terrific, and the staff is friendly. Communication from the office is only okay - not enough transparency regarding maintenance/grounds issues. Sprinkler system needs to be looked at, since it is turning certain areas into mud pits, as there is no grass in those places (and hasn't been for years). Also, sprinklers have come on illegally (on days other than the ones specified by the address of the complex) during water restrictions over the past two summers, and no one is correcting the schedule.

Overall experience can be improved. Location is nice and the community is good so leasing office and the management should put efforts and make it a good community to live in. Service requests are solved pretty fast (if they have good staff) but leasing office staff has some people who are very rude. This makes experience less enjoyable. One important things is that for some reason they stopped night patroling. I see a homeless old lady everyday in the community walking in all the areas and collecting things whatever she finds.
HRC is a quiet and well-maintained property. Maintenance issues are handled quickly and professionally. Office staff are helpful and responsive.

Great staff! They’ve always been very helpful with any issues we’ve had. Gorgeous grounds, we particularly enjoy the dog park. It’s nice to have access to three pools also.

Location, location, location. Not only is Hardrock Canyon a lovely property with many trees, the complex is located very near a large array of shopping and services. Additionally, the people who lease and operate the complex are helpful and easy to work with.

I have lived at Hardrock Canyon for almost a year and I absolutely love it here. Great amenities, perfect location, maintenance responds quickly, office folks are polite and helpful. Dogs love the dog park and lots of trails in neighborhood to walk them as well.
