Property Ratings at Harmony Heights
First, the main office building is infested with spiders, from run-of-the-mill house spiders to black widows and everything in between. I have been watching 3 grow bigger in the gym for weeks (1 reg., 1 in the daddy long leg family, and 1 brown widow). The black widow that I found was large and outside by the entrance to the pool. Residents also weren't notified of the ground wasp infestation either because "We already called an exterminator." Second, The apartment complex is owned by a different company than when we signed the lease. This new company is absolutely awful. They fired all of the original maintenance team so now the general upkeep of the property hasn't been done. Communication is now non-existent. The Resident Portal where rent is paid and maintenance requests are sent hasn't ever been set up. Now they are calling about a gas leak but never arriving at the apartment to look at anything and then calling the next day saying that they need to come back again because they didn't get it fixed and still don't know where it's coming from. I would have recommended this Apartment a year ago but now I would recommend everyone stay very far away.

Hi there, thank you for this feedback! We are looking into this situation and will reach out if we need further information. We are so sorry for the frustration and assure you we are working to be better.
We have lived here for 3 yrs and it has been a great place for us. The owners of this property are always updating and keeping it in good repair. The unit was clean and maintained when we moved in. When we had an issure it was handled immediately or arrangements were made to do it at a good time for us. The maintainance staff is always prepared to fix it right the first time. They really work well together as a team. Josh, the maintainance manager, stays on top of things. It always looks great. My husband is disabled and Josh was quick to offer safety bars in the restrooms. The office staff is crazy nice and helpful. Pamela, PJ and Karlee all strive to keep a very pleasent atmosphere in the office. Oh, and I love all the amenities. The POOL is just beautifull, and I love using the, as I call it, The Party Room. Also the new outdoor great room is really close, and I enjoy using the grills. And again, the owners really keep the furniture in these areas in good repair and up to date. (I have jealous friends who live elsewhere that's for sure) So, if you are thinking of a place to live, try here.
Just wanted to pop on here and say how wonderful the Harmony Heights community has been for me and my husband! We moved here in March and we’ll sadly be leaving Fall due to Military Orders. If you’re wondering if you should give Harmony Heights a chance, the answer is YES and here’s why… We currently have a two bedroom apartment on the third floor (which has vaulted ceilings and gives the illusion of more space!) All of our appliances were nice and clean when we moved in and the carpeting was freshly cleaned (although, some powder residue was leftover.) Our neighbors are friendly, respectful, and quiet! We have never needed to make a noise complaint or anything like that. It’s peaceful here. We have a very nice and well-kept pool with two grilles (never super crowded), an outdoor great room with an additional grille and gas fire pit, a nice 24/hr gym with a few treadmills, elliptical, row machines, and free weights, and a beautiful outdoor walking trail that goes around our entire community (about a mile long.) We have package service; our packages are stored safely in lockers in the clubhouse (free of charge for 3 days.) We were also offered a non-smoking building or a smoke friendly building. As well as a non-pet friendly building and a pet friendly building. Harmony Heights offers lots of options and they are extremely inclusive! I’ve had to submit quite a few maintenance requests since moving in, (leaky fridge, AC going out, hot water going out, wasps nests outside on the balcony) but maintenance always responds within one day. They are super on top of it! And they are the nicest most efficient group of people! Our issues were always solved. The management team here is great! And they’re quick to respond via phone or email. Pamela is our wonderful apartment manager. She sends out monthly newsletters and hosts fun themed activities every month… in March, we had a leprechaun scavenger hunt, she always does candy jar guessing games in the front office, she gives residents opportunities to win monetary prizes (a little off rent or a small gift card or something, nothing too crazy), she also hosted a summer bbq bash in August with free food and drinks for the residents, and she’s been known to pass out free ice cream to people lounging by the pool! She also hires food trucks to come to our community from time to time! PJ is another one of my favorites! She was our leasing agent from the beginning. She helped us find our perfect apartment and
I ended up living at Harmony Heights, because it was the only apartment that I could find at the time that I needed one. If I could do it over again, I'd check out Copper Ridge. Anyway, the people were nice enough, but the company seems cheap. My unit had new carpet when I moved in and it looked nice. That was deceiving. It was cheap, apartment carpet and it stretched. So I had lumps and waves everywhere. They did come it and restretch it, cutting off the excess, but they couldn't get it all, because of my furniture and it just did it again anyway. My doors didn't close properly either and my fridge didn't work for months. I tried to get a new one, but they said no. Instead, every few weeks, they'd come over with a blow dryer and unfreeze the coils. The fridge would work for a bit, and then everything melted. It was fun. Just as I was getting ready to move, they agreed to get me a new one. Why bother then? Other news, one of my neighbors had a litter of kittens born in their apartment. The same people's underaged son smoked pot outside on the lawn. We reported it, but the day I left, he was sitting out front, smoking and laughing, as I walked by. Oh, and another neighbor was killed by the police swat team. Not the first time the police had been there, but it was definitely the most dramatic. I paid to break my lease (which I'm sure paid for a new refridgerator for the next tennant). I don't necessarily regret having lived there, like I said I didn't have a lot of choices, but I'd never live there again. The people were nice, but it was in no way a home. I even worried about my pets being alone there when I was gone.
"Quiet hours" are a joke! Walls are so thin we can hear our neighbors cellphone vibrating(seriously)The management office is always someone different in charge(or pretending to be) but they don't actually do anything. They treat you with indifference like you inconvenience their agendas. Take my advice and take your chances somewhere else! You will be happy you did!
Do not trust anything that they tell you over the phone. They will tell you anything that you want to hear and when you make the commitment to them they will not honor what they said. I asked numerous times about having my dog and was told that is ok, we will accept her. Then after I let two other apartments go because I liked this one they changed their mind and will not allow her in. Now I have nowhere to live!! Thanks very much Be careful!!!!!!!
Its got a great view from our apartment, the third floor and the office people and the maintenance people are fantastic and very friendly. The only reason we are leaving is because I have a new job in Denver.
I love everything about this place, the staff is friendly the pool is great. My husband and I were only going to stay for 6 months while we looked for a house, but we love it so much we will be staying!
If you want a home where you will always feel safe and secure within the walls of your home then this is the place to be! With spacious bedrooms and closets and speedy maintenance service, you will never be disappointed. Come take a look today!
I've lived here for 5 years and love it. Great management and maintenance crew. Great pool. Plenty of parking and clean apartments. No complaints.
I used to work for a drilling company and thus spent large periods of time away from my apartment. This meant that I had to leave my personal vehicle and everything in the apartment completely unattended, so I asked the staff to just look in every now and then so that someone would be seen coming and going about the apartment. They did not only that, but kept the place vacuumed after the bug spraying for those annoying, striped flies left a bunch of dead flies everywhere in the apartment, moved my car to a garage after a tree fell on it during that 2013 snow storm, held onto packages for me for weeks at a time, helped me dig out my car on more than one occasion, and helped me make arrangement to get in and out of my apartment after leaving my keys in Virginia. It suffices to say that they went above and beyond what I would have expected from a landlord/management company. Aside from that, the apartment was spotless when I moved in. The appliances and finishes were fairly new and well-maintained. Maintenance was quick and courteous. The pool, clubhouse, and weight room are some nice amenities. And there were several small touches that I really loved like the flowers tied by ribbon around the shower curtain, a new toothbrush and toothpaste, and the complementary roll of toilet paper. (The toilet paper doesn't sound like much, but I never think to have toilet paper with me when I move in, and I always regret it.) The only con I can think of was that I considered the rent to be a bit high for a one-bedroom apartment, but I am also not taking into account the median rent for the area.
Great place to live. love location. very quite. So gald they take pets. Lawn looks great.
I am looking for a one-bedroom on the first floor and Harmony Heights does not have any one-bedrooms on the first floor. I love the location and the lady showing the apartments was very nice and professional.
We sold our house last year and moved into this apartment - best move we have made. No more maintenance, lawn care, emergencies, appliance repairs. The maintenance guys will even change our light bulbs for us. Would highly recommend this to anyone!

How is the noise in the apartments? Do the walls seem thin? My husband and I are comparing different apartment complexes currently and we are really wanting a quiet place.
this place seems pretty darn cool, just need to make it more modern.
