We have only been here a hot minute but there's quite a few issues inside the apt, we haven't put in a work order yet so I can only speak after I do that. The trash guy didn't pick up the trash last Thursday and Friday, this a service we were made to pay for in order to live here. The customer service is awesome and I am sure my next visit to this page will be 5 stars.

I have lived here for several years , I love the area and the commute to work. The prices for the apartments for what you get to me have been worth it. Before the switch in property management I would have not give the service maintenance as much credit. But now they complete my maintenance request in a good time frame. My only issue has alway been that I can’t seem to get the office on the phone other than that I love it .

Been ok. Maintenance truly sucks. Sent letter stating property being updated. Spoke to leasing office about when my unit will be updated they stated it’s not because I still live in the unit but can move into different unit at a much higher rate. Do not keep promises.

The office staff is amazing. I call quite a lot lol but they’re always willing to help. The neighbors I’ve met are sweet I love it here I’ve been here almost a year can’t wait to try out the pool !
These people are the worst!! Denied my application due to what they claim is housing debt…I have never owned a house!! I tried to explain this to the very rude lady and she just kept saying “just turn the letter in”…a letter that doesn’t exist!!
We moved in to the complex in December 2021 and has been our worst housing experience in the last 5 years. In addition to general property damage (mold/mildew to windows and toilets, damaged countertops, painted over electric plugs, uneven floors), you can expect a high level of noise. It is common for residents to blast music in their cars with headlights on after midnight. The property has little concern for pet safety and wellness. Currently there are shards of glass through the entrance to the dog park which is unfortunately built next to the dumpster. There is trash overflowing from the dumpsters into the dog park, and my pup has frequently found shards of chicken bones in the area so be sure to keep a close watch on your animal if you utilize the space. All of these things are manageable in my personal opinion, but what has ultimately left me ready to break our lease is an upstairs neighbor who has consistently allowed their dog to pee on the above patio leaking down onto our own. After three months of consistent complaints to management, and additional calls to police (from other neighbors for noise complaints), nothing has been done other than a single verbal warning despite a clear and continued lease violation. And yes, dog continues to pee on the patio at this time. Management does not care about their property, they do not care about your pet and they certainly do not care about you.

I’ve been a resident for 3 going on 4 yrs. Jennifer has been the property manager the entire time. She’s the best PM I’ve ever encountered. It’s an older community but they do their best to maintain and update it. It’s quite and any mishaps are dealt with immediately. They are extremely accommodating and go out their way to make sure your happy and comfortable. The rent is fair and competitive for the area. It’s a hidden jewel!
I've called and left several messages and received no call back. I've wanted to live here for many years and now the time has come and no one has reached out to me. I'm so very sad by this.
I viewed the apartments online the dimensions appeared larger per the website 950 wasn’t too bad for the price!! My only issue was I had been asked to sign the lease online rather than in person! Once I went on the tour I wasn’t satisfied with the apartment at all, the size was much smaller than online, the apartment appeared dated the paint was thick as if several coats over the years had been applied!! The updated countertops were actually painted as well!! The patio was bigger than the rooms! Closets were very small shelving was painted over wood nothing was updated as it was stated online!!! I instantly regretted signing the lease!! My previous apartment in the same area was 805 2/2 9 foot ceilings 1050 sq ft! But it was 20 mins in the opposite direction of my business!! Now I wish I had it stayed there! Overall the staff was great I’m just not happy with the compact apartment and outdated washer and dryer!
Me and my fiancé currently live in a two bedroom apartment. We are very happy, and love our apartment. All appliances are updated and work well. Unfortunately sometimes neighbors can be loud, and take advantage of our swimming pool. Aside from that, Harris Pond is a great community!
I am new in town and as a single father I found great pleasure in meeting Jennifer at the front office at Harris pond. Jennifer went out of way to ensure I got everything I needed to get my son in school and saved me a lot of headache in printing out documents that I needed to avoid me having to do it my self. I am so Thankful to of have run across her and to be treated with such respect and promptness. Thank you Harris Pond Team for the Help and Jennifer for ensuring me that my son and I are in great hands while staying in your beautiful community. The world need more kind hearted people like this and we will be alright as whole in society. I am glad to now call Harris Pond my new residents Thank you and many Blessing to you! Very Respectfully, Greg Tann

The rent is affordable but you will have to deal with some problems. The property is old and comes with all the complications of that. Cons: I've had to have several things replaced or fixed in my unit. The humidity in the bathrooms cause mold and the shower is over run with it. My apartment was almost broken into and my car, which I physically saw myself. My neighbors are heavy drug users and enjoy loud music, which I have to endure. It's very difficult to get management on the phone and they're often dismissive and a little disrespectful. The amenities are not well maintained and probably are more of an eye sore than a plus, ex.grill is caked in grease and dirt during the summer, laundry room is filthy. Pros: The rent's cheap! The maintenance men are quick and so nice! They fix things quickly and efficiently. That's all I've got, I can't wait until my lease is up!!!!
Pros: Was able to get a great rate around $700 per month. Location was great for work, very close to Northlake and 15-20 minutes from Uptown. Mallard Creek Greenway trail is right behind the complex. Management and maintenance was decent. Cons: Apartments are old. The AC unit dates back to 1993. No ceiling fan in bedroom and apparently no electrical wiring to make it possible. Windows are poorly sealed and often build up condensation and mold behind the blinds. Very thin walls and structure, heard every footstep and argument from the tenants 1 floor above. Footsteps and sliding glass door upstairs literally shook the apartment. Patio view was staring into the parking lot. Twice had large bugs fly into the apartment through the fireplace chimney. Had some house centipedes as well. To top it all off, renewing the lease came with $100/month rent increase. Easy decision to leave. At the original rent price, I could've dealt with most of the cons. The worst was the thunder of footsteps and domestic disputes right above my head, which isn't 100% Harris Pond's fault. Could happen anywhere I guess. If noise doesn't bother you, Harris Pond is worth a look at the right price.
I have lived here for almost a year now and have really enjoyed it. Close by to shopping, grocery stores, interstates, and my job. The best thing is the screened in porch! Great clubhouse, pool. I am currently without a vehicle and will not be able to stay. Winning this would sure be wonderful gift right now.
I've lived in Harris Pond for almost six years and it is a good experience. This gated community features a filthy pond overlooked by a gazebo that is great for walking my dog. If one looks close enough, he or she can find aquatic life in the pond. The pool features a deck that overlooks the pond providing an excellent view of it and the tree scape behind it. The pool also has many tables and a propane grill for enjoying an occassional outdoor meal. The gym a bike, two treadmills, an elliptical, and weights. The only downside is that the television that used to be there was once stolen. Sometimes, the water cooler isn't always filled up leaving it to be empty. The office also has a computer room with a well running desktop which I rarely use. Another luxury of this neighborhood that I used to use quite often but haven't anymore is the outdoor basketball court. I have experienced many games of basketball here with my friends throughout the years. It is fairly large, all cement, and also includes two soccer goals. The electrical system in the gates of Harris Pond can frequently shutdown causing them to have to be open for as long as a few days depending on when the repairman fixes them. The community is pretty quiet and free of crime except for a year ago when my apartment was broken into. My current apartment is located on the ground which had allowed it to be an easier target for burglary. Previous to this apartment, I lived in one similar to it just one building over that is on the third floor. My apartment is comprised of two bedrooms and two bathrooms on opposite sides of the suite being ideal for roommates. One of the bathrooms is located inside of the bedroom providing quick and easy access to it. The toilets are somewhat small making it awkward for anyone who isn't a small child to sit on. Also, the shower runs great and the water heats up very quickly. One note is that the hot and cold are opposite of the labels on the knob which I had to learn the hard way. The bedrooms are spacious and feature walk in closets that have room for all of my stuff. One bedroom features a sliding glass door that connects to the screened in patio that also contains a storage room located. The large living room has a ceiling fan and is adjacent to the tiny kitchen. The stainless steel refrigerator is great and provides a modern look to the apartment. There is a laundry room at the office that allows tennants to wash their own clothes at one low price.
This a a picture perfect location. This is a small complex nestled down away from the main road, wrapped around a beautiful pond with bountiful wildlife. There is a small pool with a gas grill, gym and computer room. The staff is friendly and the mainenence crew is prompt and thorough. The only problem is the apartments are old and not energy efficient.
I have lived in this community for the past year, and I love everything about it. The leasing agents are really nice and they are timely. Someone is always available for assistant and packages are safe. The gate works 99% of time, which is great for me. I have not had any noise complaints with the residence or my neighbors which makes the apartment complex even better to live in. The rates are the best in the area. I have recently moved from a one bedroom to a two bedroom apartment and all the amenities have been upgraded. For the location, the rates the apartments are going at are the best in my opinion. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking in the University area to apply to these apartments. You will not be upset!
