Eastside sits eight miles east of downtown Tuscon, along East Broadway Boulevard. This primarily residential neighborhood includes a mix of apartment buildings and single-family homes for rent. Numerous businesses pepper the area, and nearby Saguaro National Park provides a wide range of recreational opportunities for locals.
A quick trip along Old Spanish Trail takes you to Saguaro National Park, where you can backpack through the wilderness. Wake up early for red velvet pancakes at Baja Cafe before heading out on an adventure hike with friends. Alternatively, reserve a spot at one of the park's six campgrounds, and enjoy night walks, gorgeous sunsets, and stargazing with the rangers. Return to Eastside for a meal of Singapore curry fried rice at Snow Peas Modern Asian Kitchen or fettuccine bolognese at Zona 78.

Property Ratings at Harrison Park
I lived at Harrison Park for a year and had a good experience. The complex was quiet, safe, and my neighbors were considerate. Anytime I needed something repaired, maintenance arrived within 1-2 days. The office staff were always friendly and helpful. I took advantage of the exterminator they have on retainer and did not have any issues with pests (which cannot be said for other places I have lived). If I was to find a negative to living here, it would be the cabinets and some of the appliances were a bit dated, but still worked perfectly well. Also, the floors squeaked quite a bit in some spots, but this is rather minor. So if you are looking for an affordable place on the east side of Tucson, I would recommend Harrison Park.

I couldn't possibly be happier!!! I just renewed my lease and I feel grateful to do so. From maintenance to management, I am proud to be a resident. From Sahria, to Sienna. From Adrian to Michael (AKA Eddy). From Larry to Dulce. And from Joey to Carol, each of them made my living here experience special. Henry Aguilar

My apartment has been leaking for weeks now. The maintenance men keep coming but the leak dose not stop. The office is always surprised to find out nothing was resolved yet they don't check. Out of sight out of mind I suppose.

Hello. Thank you for taking the time to voice your concerns. We sincerely apologize for these delays and hope to speak with you directly about your experience. Please give our office a call when you have a moment so we can address this matter properly.
Within 2 weeks of living at this complex I had ants throughout my apartment from the tree limbs that touched the building. The first day I noticed them I was told there was no after hours or weekend service and I had to wait until Monday for the exterminator. I have a small child and immediately regretted moving to the property. The parking spots flood when it rains. Office staff are little to no help and rarely available during office hours. Save yourself the headache and move elsewhere.

Don't move here. We were having electrical problems for 5+ months with little help from maintenance or management. No one seemed to care about the fact that our power was going out multiple times a day every day. No one ever gave us answers as to what was causing it or when it would be fixed. With a newborn and 1.5 year old, this was a horrible experience. Thank God we left when we did. There were other issues we had here, but this was definitely the worst.

Very unfriendly staff, only lived there one year and my car was crashed twice and no help with the staff or security. Had a problem with my washer that flooded my apartment (second floor)and staff said it wasn’t urgent. And finally when I try to call the office they never answer and if they do a young lady answers with attitude and when we ask for her manager she denies me and hangs up

We apologize if you've had a less than positive experience. Your living experience is important, and we want nothing more than to provide a comfortable and pleasant home for our residents. Your feedback and concerns are valued, and we'd be sure to look into them even further. Thank you.
I've been here for 8 months and I'm paying the extra $1,000 to break my lease! They nickle and dime you to death! You can't pay by cash or check, so you have to pay extra for a money order, or set up an automatic pay through your bank account where you have to pay an extra $17 service fee, every month! And I was late paying one month because my credit card expired and and I easily paid an extra $200 in late fees, even though it was 5 days before I could give them my new 3 digit card code (account was the same!). And to top it off, I had to pay a $23 service fee to pay my $40 water and sewer fee!!! Oh, did I mention that the office staff is worthless, and seems to care less about all theses extra fees they charge!!!

Beware! Nothing is as it seems with this place. You will think you are getting a good apartment at a reasonable price, but they will find ways to cost you more and more money. Don't let them fool you too!
Office staff is very friendly, and rent prices are fair. Apartments and facilities show there age due to poor maintenance. Dumpsters overflow on a regular basis and dog feces is everywhere. Parking in this place is scarce for people that own more than one car. Upon move in found several issues including mold. In the last year have had 9 service requests, one being a broken water heater that took weeks to repair. I recommend living elsewhere unless rent price is the only factor in choosing an apartment.
I lived at these apartments about five years ago and then I moved to a cheaper apartment. That was a HUGE mistake. My vehicle was vandalized three times. You don't know how "shady" the area is until you move there. When I moved there it was nice & quiet, but that didn't stay long. The maintenance was horrible! Long story short, I came back to Harrison Park. Although I wish the carpet had been replaced & upgraded washer/dryer; it is 100% better than the old apartment. Maintenance is quick to fix the major things; however, could work on the little things mentioned on the work orders that were not complete. I have NO regrets moving back here & highly recommend anybody who wants a nice apartment to look into these. One thing I do have to mention is that most of the people pick up after their dogs even though Harrison Park provides Print Paws doggie bags, but I can't expect Harrison Park to police every dog owner 24hrs a day to make sure they pick up after their dogs. The grounds are maintained well so that is another plus!
These apartments are okay for the price. I moved in without ever seeing the place (I was coming from the east coast) and I, thankfully, was greeted by a livable space. Management is decently friendly and responds fairly quickly to maintenance requests considering how large the complex is. The maintenance crew is respectful and always knocks and announces themselves. The few times they've needed to come by when I knew I wouldn't be home they have always confirmed with me that it was okay for them to enter the apartment. The appliances are outdated, but for the most part they work okay. My biggest issue has been with the dryer, which takes 2-3 runs to fully dry small/average loads. A lot of people online have complained about there being dog droppings everywhere, but I haven't noticed it that much. There are a lot of dog owners in the complex, and it really isn't the maintenance crew's responsibility to clean up after their dogs if they neglect to do it themselves. The walls/windows are pretty thin, but not to the point that you can hear people talking next door. Most sound comes in from outside through the windows, but my part of the complex is generally pretty quiet. I live on the second floor and if the neighbors next door are playing with their dogs or running around the floor will shake, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I won't be living here again, but that's mainly because I need to find a place closer to U of A to cut down on transportation expenses. Overall I would say if you can work with the management do get a decent deal on rent this isn't a bad place to live.
Apartments are pretty nice. Property manager is very rude. Not helpful. Apartments are decent for the money you pay. Not bad. Nice carpet and flooring in most of the upgraded apartments.
I lived Total of 6 apartment locations in Tucson, and by far this is the best place ever! The management staff has the utmost respect for each resident. The maintenance crew is really quick when something needs to be fixed and kind. In my past living locations I only done 1 year contracts but this is the only I signed a 2 year contract to live here. Not only is the people that run this location is great but the neighborhood is awesome. A lot of store/restaurant options around here. The whole complex is super clean. Sizes/rent is perfect depending what you are looking for. Overall I recommend this place!
My apartment is 800 square feet and has one bedroom. We have a nice little den where my boyfriend makes all his art. That specific room is one of the reason we decided to move into this complex together. He and I also love the dog park right nearby because we have two very young and bouncy English bulldogs. We are going on our 6 month here and so far like the staff too.
This is a nice and quite place to live. The apartments are really nice and pretty big. The pricing is just right and has a nice view of the mountains. The staff here is very nice and helpful, I recently moved from Yuma to Tucson Arizona. Really liking the move and the apartment complex is a great fit for myself and family.
I currently live at these apartments and they are by far the worst apartments I have ever lived in. The location isn't bad but management is rude, maintenance can never get anything fixed in a timely manner, everything in the apartment is falling apart and is outdated. I can hear the neighbors stomping, and the ceiling creaks with every step they make. The washer and dryer is stackable and fits very small loads, and the dryer takes 4 runs before it'll even dry a load. My lease is coming up for a renewal and I received a notice that if I stayed my rate would increase. I would not recommend anyone to live here, there are plenty of other apartments in the same area that are a lot better than this dump.
