Hartland Village Apartments

I just moved here in these apartments so far it’s pretty decent , it was easy to apply and the rent is a comfortable price. the apartments are clean no rodents maintenance seems to be pretty good as well. It’s a great place for a new start and quick move.

I give this five star plus , they were very professional and help me every step of the way , thank you for everything i would recommend my friends and family to heartland apartments .

I guess it’s best to start with the good then follow with the not so good. I have been a tenet for a year. The rent price is better then some rental company on an one bedroom apartment. The area is pretty quiet which I like. You don’t have people just hanging around your doors or the apartment area. You don’t hear fun shots during the night and cops hanging around patrolling. I pretty much feel safe coming in and out of my building. The bad is they don’t like to fix stuff and when they do it’s half done job. When I moved into my apartment the apartment was spotted painted in some area and some area that was very noticeable wasn’t painted well at all. They said my carpet was new but it wasn’t stains surface after a couple of months of me renting. I take my shoes off before I walk on my carpet. The rental company did come and repaint my wall in my bedroom and there was a vent that was missing a screw. My garbage disposal stop working twice and they never replaced but did a temporary fix. I was told not to put anything in it. They came to clean it so they say but didn’t do a good clean. They just spot clean with the cleaning solution but with soap and water and the guy that came over was in a hurry to leave he said we do the minimum cleaning we don’t put any solution because it cost to much and they don’t pay anything to do this but if you want me to clean it I will charge you 75.00. The stain still remind in my carpet. He had a nerve to bring in a bottle of cleaning solution in a small area to show me how it cleans better then just the soap and water he using. I just done with people no one don’t want to do there job. You think I’m going to call you to clean by carpet? Absolutely not Sir. The price for one bedroom is really reasonable in Essex area and it’s better than living in the city of Baltimore. It’s closer to my job which I really like. I use to commute from Clinton, MD which was about 1 hour and 15 minute drive with traffic.

This place has become inhabitable. If I could attach pictures to show I would do so. Have been here since 2017 and did not have a mice problem until recently. Maintenance has been poor The only thing they did was put a piece of aluminum foil behind the fridge and yet mice are STILL in the apartment. They are climbing on furniture, coming from the closet, and I found holes my self that maintenance failed to find. Not renewing lease.

After 38 years working for a leading Property Management company, I found myself separated from my spouse.Needing a place to call home and being disabled needed a first floor apartment for myself and my Service Dog. The rental office was excellent and within minutes had me a first floor 1 bedroom. I have requested service 3 or 4 times and each time the response has been quick and repairs always completed correctly. My most recent request was for an oil spill out front and residents were walking in it and tracking it in the. halls and units. I put the request in about 8pom and by 8am, it was completed. Hats off to the Maintenance Staff! Enjoying meeting my neighbors and staff. A nice place to call home!

I have had a lot of experience with rental companies and this place by far has the best customer service with Miss Vivian and Stacy in the office it's definitely a win-win situation the maintenance at this place is very prompt they come almost the same day and the community is very well kept I am a hundred percent enjoying my stay here

They are fast with answering work orders. Ive lived here for 4 yearsI really like the area. They keep the grounds clean.

It’s ridiculous they do the bare minimum. The apartment is just infested with mice in roaches and they don’t make an effort to completely get rid of them. I can’t wait to move

MY Apartment Had Roaches. I Liked The Area And Having Surrounding Stores Was Great. But I Moved Off Property And Still Havent Received MY Security Deposit Back.

This apartment complex rented me a unit with roaches and then sued me. And if you look a little deeper past the fake reviews they post everywhere you will notice that they are generally scum. Also look into their parent company Henderson Webb

I’m 8 months pregnant with debilitating illness and PTSD. My husband is at work and I’m asleep in our bed. Luckily, the night before I had the seemingly unnecessary urge to close and lock the bedroom door as well as the front door because of what happened when I woke up. Half dressed and asleep in my bed, I wake to the sound of not one but two men outside of my bedroom door. My eyes shoot open in a panic and I start hyperventilating. I frantically shout “Hello?!” And am ready to call 911. When one of the men say “Maintenance.” To which I reply, “now isn’t a good time.” But they continue and soon after leave. I was in such stress and disarray that I had to go see my physician, having had horrific flashbacks of trauma and panicking because I no longer felt safe in my home. I cannot imagine if my bedroom door would have been open as it normally is. I understand that maintenance has the right to enter but the experience for me was traumatizing and it will take time for me to feel safe again. After the experience I no longer wish to live in an apartment knowing that multiple men can enter my safe space at any time no matter if I’m even conscious or dressed. Maintenance has come before but I was either not home or prepared to let someone in. I can imagine that they did not know I was home but it still triggered my PTSD and I hope nothing like that ever happens again or to anyone else.

I’m satisfied with my unit and the building. No huge issues. I had to stay on top of a few maintenance issues but they have addressed all of my issues and I have zero complaints. Nice location. Fair prices.

My move in Experience was a little rough at the beginning I asked rental office to let me know what what I need the communication skills are very poor but they are good people. My apartment I moved in was not ready at all

I love the way the carpet got fixed they took off the part that was wet and came out great however the front off my door water is still there every time it rains the water doesn’t drin

been living here since 3years plus,not that bad,they come in for maintenance issue but not immediately, they take their time,some ladies over the phone are rude while some are polite enough..

If it isn’t quick and easy, it doesn’t get done. If it’s serious don’t expect major work, it will be fixed cheapest way possible. Emergency number asks to call back if you aren’t first online..don’t expect a call back. Over all they are good, nice, and get the job done.

It was poor because I tried to schedule an appointment for a tour and the woman on the phone was rude. Never will I recommend this place just off of her demeanor.

I have been living here for 9 months and have caught 3 mice and sighted many more. I have had to call maintenance over 10 times to fill holes, but they do not do a thorough job. I had to fill all of the holes in my apartment myself since maintenance didn't pay enough attention and notice them. My place is clean and organized with no clutter or any food out. However, maintenance response/service is prompt and they always leave a note of service. Other than the mouse infestation, the building is quiet and maintenance reports promptly.

Mice mice mice and they do nothing about it. Neighbors are filthy.

The overwhelming laughter feeling like home sweet home already.. Rebecca and Stacy professionalism replays in my heart over and over.. From being offered water Without asking To once again Being treated like a million bucks.. This being my 1st encounter with Rebecca I can truly understand why she's a big part of the organization.. I must add Stacy's Awareness and concern for the quality of the community is beautiful. A great ending after A-day of treatment. Everyone should live here.. pretty quiet. except from the occasional noises and the daily stomping of foot steps. Management is awful though. When we first moved in, horrible roach problem. They fished it, but then we had a mice problem which they did not fix. in the winter, the heater had broken and management did not come for a WHOLE 2 DAYS. It was below freezing out! If you are first renting an apartment and can't afford anything else, then sure. Go for it, but there are much better apartments than this.

This is only the second apartment I've ever rented by myself and I must say that it's better than the other place I had in terms of size, location, parking (I'm coming from the city), and affordability. The grounds are kept up with so it's a beautiful area. I don't really see/hear a lot of crazy things going on (except I do have a racist neighbor but I hardly ever see her so I guess out of sight out of mind). The place seems pretty kid friendly too. I didn't like how I signed my lease before getting to actually see my apartment but it turned out that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the apartment, thank goodness. The leasing office is helpful and friendly though, so that I can say. Overall, I'd recommend this as a first (or second) apartment for someone with no so great credit history. No real complaints from me so far.

My apartment is a quick walk to the bus stop. However, I am sure this is not in your category which is why I am looking for somewhere more like home and family. Please let me know where in Maryland you have apartments located.

I love my apartment building, the area is quite and maintenance keeps the grounds looking nice. I have good neighbors and the place is kid friendly. The management company informs us of any social events or notices in a timely manner.

I've only been here week but I love it,quiet neighborhood and neighbors. I gotta great deal upon moving and and everyone at the leasing office was very helpful and friendly. This is my first time ever renting an apartment alone as I usually have a roommate and they really were patient with me and made sure I was taken care of. I would recommend this property to friend and family

Easiest way to explain the living conditions is to say that this place is a step above living in a motel

Ive been living in Hartland Apartments for 2 years. Its a really good place to live, i just think that maintenance could be better and that the actual apartment office can do more. They literally can only handle things dealing with someone applying for an apartment. Anything you need dealing with your apartment, you have to call customer service and sit on hold for 30 mins.

I have lived at Hartland village for 1 1/2 yrs now. The office staff is very helpful and maintenance has been very helpful. When I moved into my apartment it was clean and neat. No move in problems, no pest problems and no loud neighbors. It's a very quiet area, which is good. The only complaint I have, is that they allow smoking in the apartments by the renters and unfortunately just about everyone in my building are smokers :(. So that smell gets into my vents and makes my apartment smell of stale smoke. I really hate it!!!! I freeze atleast 2x/week to keep the smell at bay. That is the only thing that sucks really bad about living there. That is why I've thrown in the flag and have to decided to move this up coming lease :(. It is a decent place to live otherwise.
