Property Ratings at Haven at Enka Lake
They enter your apartment every month. Very intrusive.
Property Manager at Haven at Enka Lake, Responded To This Review
Thank you for taking the time to share your review our community. We appreciate your feedback and take these concerns very seriously. We wish to explain that it is never our intention to enter a resident's apartment if it is not necessary; however, when we do need to access a resident's home for preventative maintenance or for another reason, we always strive to provide advance notice and, when possible, attempt to accommodate our residents' schedules if they express a preference for work to be completed at certain times. Our maintenance team may need to access an apartment for reasons such as routine pest control, replacement of air filters, to clear out dryer ventilation systems annually, or in the case of an unexpected emergency such as a water leak. With that said, we strive to refrain from entering our residents' apartment homes unless it is required to provide the high caliber of quality living experience that our residents deserve. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your experience! We will share your feedback with our team and will do everything we can to take these considerations into account if it is necessary to enter a resident's home in the future.
I have lived here for over two years and it is by far my favorite apartment complex! Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the complex is super dog friendly! Many activities for you to enjoy, very much recommend living here!
I have resided here since day one and honestly I have experience noting but the most pleasurable environment. The staff has always been friendly, even with the turn over, I cant complain. They work hard to keep the grounds clean and pet stations stocked, I even see the office staff doing this too! They seem to really like what they do and really care about the property and residents. I cant really say that I have lived at an apartment community where the manager picks up trash and poop. As for noise, its an apartment. Its not quiet but its not unbearable either.
If I could give a zero star review I would. Haven at Enka lake has been the worst decision I have made and nothing but a headache. So many issues with this so called luxury living. Major issues with noise levels at night as they have rented out a whole building in the back to employees from another country. There are nights that drinking and partying go on until 3am in the parking lot with no respect that other renters and children live here. After many complaints to the office staff we were told their hands are tied for us to just call the sheriffs department with our issues. The complex itself is not well made either. You can hear your neighbors sneeze and the complex itself is not well built. Cars fly like they are in a race and many times I have seen people almost hit in the community. I just feel as if I had had the chance to read a review of the true Haven this is a place we would have never moved to. Not recommended!
My family and I have been here for nearly a year and we can't say enough great things about it. All the neighbors are friendly, the apartment is beautiful and easy to clean and maintain. Amenities are great. We love the pool, firepit and playground. Would be awesome to get a basketball court and a couple swings put up but we're not complaining. Floor plans are excellent. Maintenance crew is excellent and friendly. All staff is welcoming.
As a current resident, there are several things about this complex that are concerning. 1. Maintenance is ALWAYS finding a reason to enter the apartment, filter changes, sprinkler checks, random inspections, etc. Managment does give earring with s note on the door but it’s CONSTANT, when they do show up it’s one knock, no wait time before they start to open the door, no time frame is given so you have to be up and ready when they first open because you can’t be caught in the shower. 2.parking is an issue, they give out stickers but no assigned parking, they ppl below me have at least 4 loud trashy vehicles in the parking lot at all times. When I say trashy I literally mean bags of trash in the back of trucks with crows on them. I have had my car mysteriously get several scratches from kids with backpacks. There are stop signs and speed limit signs but ppl fly through them, my child and I have almost been hit several times. 3. There seems to be a very strange way they group ppl together in buildings, like the other review it is very apparent how they have out certain group of ppl in the back. 4. I have lived here 7 months, I was the first to rent my apartment it was brand new and beautiful. since then there are cracks in all of the crown molding, several places in the tile are bowed up and pain chips off of you look at it the wrong way. 5. Needles to say if I don’t have to stay here another year my family and I are out of here, it’s really disappointing because they present themselves in a very different t manner than what you get.
I really hate to write this but I would want someone else to if I found my way to this before deciding to move in. Initially, the price point is exactly what you think. To good to be true. I went against my better judgement and now I'm not even 2 months into a lease I wish I could get out off without the monetary penalty. Where to start! I lived in more than handful of apartments throughout the years due to relocations and not being financially ready to purchase a house. By far, in just a few short months, this has top the list as my least favorite apartment I've ever lived in. First, I understand I was moving into a complex that wasn't finished Construction wise. By the same token, it shouldn't result in a living situation where you are not receiving what you're paying for. The ammenities that you pay for when you rent an apartment with said ammenities at time of introduction are apart of the higher cost of renting. That's your perks. I understand from a business standpoint wanting to finish the remaining buildings but I also think a business would want to create an environment where renters feel welcome. Especially the renters that are essentially paying for the remaining work to be completed. Here it is, sunny and 75 but we are unable to utilize a single item that is advertised to eventually be apart of the property. Second, I really didn't appreciate the fact management entered my apartment for a "filter change" just a few short weeks after they made this building available for rent. We all know what was going on here and I want to live in a community I feel trusted and valued, not imprisioned or watch on. I understand the desire to manage your property but as a property manager, you have to realize your contract is there to protect you where it's suppose to and the other you have to let go of. You can micro manage every unit like prison cells. To sum, I think it's important to feel valued as a renter. The complex is providing me a service which I'm paying for, not the other way around. Third, the property has grouped a whole building of minorities in the back of the property. I really can't help but frown upon that. I've met some of the folks from this particular building and some of them are in a work program out of country. I can see if something was worked out with the company but stilll, the building in the back? Lastly, the buildings are the standard new match stick apartment buildings. other than on the third floor.
