Property Ratings at Haven
Anita was so amazing from start to finish! We are both disabled, and she had us put into the PERFECT apartment for us. No stairs and handicap accessible. She is a diamond in the rough! Thank you Anita!! We love it here!!

We hope to count you among our valued Haven residents for many years to come! If you ever need anything, don't hesitate to let the office know. We want to ensure your time with us remains exceptional! Thanks again! Thank you,
The Haven Apartments does not care about its tenants. If you have a valid concern, they will ignore you. After they lure you in with a kind and caring demeanor they'll bait and switch. If you are a long time tenant - over a year, forget about any of your issues being addressed. As soon as your renew that lease, you're just another $. You've read about the bugs and vermin... now understand that the management staff is subpar and will be rude if you have any issue at all. Do not rent here. You will regret it.

We care deeply about all valued residents of our community, yourself included, and we regret that you've received the opposite impression. Our team does its best to remain available throughout office hours. We apologize for any difficulty you've had getting ahold of us and for any inconvenience this has caused. We are committed to resolving all reported resident issues promptly. If you have any specific concerns you would like us to address, please give the office a call at your earliest convenience. We would be happy to assist you!
There were a lot of break-ins and cars vandalized, but they don't have cameras or security so that's to be expected in a bad part of town. Walls and windows are thin and poorly insulated, so you always can hear your neighbors and are cold in the winter. The owners have found a way to act as a third party billing middleman for the water company, so even though the faucets and showerheads are cheap and don't put out much water, your water bill is close to $100/mo. I didn't notice any more bugs than normal despite all the other reviews on other sites where it was a significant problem. Maintenance issues that aren't costly are handled quickly, but expensive repairs aren't addressed.

We appreciate you sharing this feedback with us. Please know, our residents' peace of mind is of the utmost importance to us. While we do our best to provide a relaxed and comfortable home life, crime - unfortunately - has no address and can occur anywhere. We hope any incident with your vehicle was reported to the proper authorities and that they were able to assist you. You'll find it is not uncommon in the multifamily housing industry for some additional charges - such as utilities - to slightly increase the overall monthly cost of renting a home. These costs - along with how they are calculated - were all clearly outlined within the lease agreement. Everyone experiences apartment living differently and we are sorry our community proved not to be the best fit for you personally. We wish you luck in your future endeavors. Thank you,
We moved out after our first lease was up. It was ok. Pros: Quiet on the outside. Individual apartment maintenance issues are often answered quickly. However last summer we were without A/C for 2 weeks because they were too understaffed to fix it. Staff is accommodating as long as you don't want anything out of the normal. It's on a steep hill which isn't plowed very often when it snows. Swimming Pool, Google Fiber, and the small gym are positives. We haven't noticed any pests despite all the other reviews where that was a problem. Good washer & poor dryer. Good closet space. Cons: There aren't lights or ceiling fans in the bedrooms. The plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms are low pressure and cheap. The walls are thin so you can hear your neighbors, so get a top floor apt and trudge the stairs several times every day, or put up with the noise. Our new neighbors were loud and openly did drugs, so we had to move out. There is a lack of parking due to 60-70% of the parking being reserved or ''premium" (extra cost), so either you pay extra to reserve spots, or you spend a couple minutes looking for a spot and park far away from your apartment. This is a big pain when moving in, as all of the spots in front of the apartment are reserved. So you'll be walking that couch and mattress and every box an extra 50 feet at move-in. The gates are a pain, but only work half the time anyway. There's only one dumpster/compacter, so taking out the trash is always a trip. During winter apartment stays very cold as the heating units are weak and not able to warm the place up. The windows and patio doors are fairly cheap and don't insulate the apartment well. Ownership found a way to act as a 3rd party billing service for the water company, so your water bill will run between $80-$95 a month even though the faucets and showers don't put out much water-- so be sure to include that. There have been about a dozen car break in's in the last month and other types of theft. They don't have cameras or car garages or on site security, so I suppose that's to be expected. We were 4 days late with rent our last month there due to a death in the family, and they charged us $300 in late fees, but did take $100 off. The bad stuff tends to stick in your mind, but overall it wasn't a nightmare, it just wasn't pleasant. Neither a thumbs up or down, but if you're looking for advice then my advice is to keep looking.

I've been living at Haven since the renovations and have only seen things get better. Maintenance is prompt, my neighbors are quiet, and my apartment is beautiful. The leasing ladies Cynthia and Morgan are friendly and always willing to help. I've referred friends here and will continue to do so!

FULL OF FALSE PROMISES since I’ve moved here it’s been nothing but problems brown recluse ants roaches any bug you don’t want to see you will see a lot of them they ignore you when you complain about it. Water can be hot one day cold the next. Walls are paper thin they claim to quite hours and fines for breaking them but that’s also a lie the gym is never clean random puddles of water in the gym some of the machines don’t work. Hot tub hasn’t worked since I moved here pool was closed every other day management is terrible ignore your calls text messages lie to your face please don’t move here save yourself the stress even it’s close to your job DONT MOVE HERE
It is in a terrible neighborhood. The office staff is terrible at their jobs and discourteous. It is just a completely unprofessional operation. How they are still employed is beyond my comprehension. The apartments are nice(ish) for the money. My advice is to look for somewhere else to reside.

Area is unsafe, community advertised as "gated" it is not, moved in april and trying to find another apartment. It is not worth it to live in this neighborhood
Great Maintenance Service. The Location is poor, the office staff is poor, and the noise levels on the property were loud.
