Less than ten miles south of Portland along the Willamette River, Lake Oswego is suburban community characterized by lush greenery and a first-rate personality all its own. The local school district has been recognized as among the best in the nation, the crime rate is low, and the League of American Bicyclists has named Lake Oswego one of the most bike-friendly communities in Oregon (which is saying something).
The lake itself is surrounded by gorgeous homes and old-growth evergreens, and large parks and nature preserves are never far away. The area closer to the river is a nice mix of homes and small businesses (cafes, shops, nightlife) in a highly walkable configuration, and trolley service to Portland is available from the Oak Grove Station on State Street.

Property Ratings at Haven Lake Oswego
Have lived here over 4 years. When Avenue5 took over the community really went downhill fast. While maintenance staff is always great, management is abrasive and difficult to work with. Management cannot keep the community rented out and has on average 10 open units a month. Parking is insufficient and management will give your spot away without notice. Thankful the owner is getting new management.
I have lived in a lot of rentals, from not-so-fancy to downtown high-rises, and the most important person is your maintenance staff. Once you become a tenant, they are your singular point of contact, and ultimately shape how you feel about the place you call home. No matter where I have lived, I have respected and appreciated Maintenance, but I have to say the Maintenance here is exceptional. Justin seems to know the issues he encounters as if he has encountered them a thousand times before, has the most pleasant of personalities, and most of all, he is conscientious. He seems to legitimately want to do the best job he can both for the owners and tenants alike and he accomplishes that goal. We recently had a lengthy ice/snowstorm, and while everywhere I have rented has distributed salt/de-icer, I watched Jason meticulously make sure the salt made it up every step to every single door. A task that certainly took significant time and energy, but no doubt saved us all. I have also had him in my home on several occasions to rectify some failures from the previous owner that were done precisely and to the highest standard. Something I truly appreciate. I also honestly enjoy his presence in my home, something that I can rarely say I have thought of with other Maintenance. I do hope Jason is appreciated because he is truly a gem.
So far, the residence has been quiet, smoke free and comfortable. Residents have been polite. I hope it continues. I would not recommend until I have lived here a full year to fully evaluate the experience.
First: Street noise is more than I expected. The noise is distracting even when windows closed and makes the outside space unusable for me. Second: the number of guest parking spots are unacceptable. My guest are able to park in the complex less than 50% of the time.
Over all peaceful area. It's private and easy access to shopping and travel.
I was not able to see any apartment or view any demo unit. I understand that it is a small community and we are in a pandemic but it would have been nice to get a better idea of what it looks like besides on a computer screen.
Wonderful management, quiet community and great neighbors.
High value and great location, great service and great neighbors. Very Safe.
It seems like a very friendly and calm environment, close to the town of lake oswego and downtown portland!
yes
Office staff great; the property is very well maintained and quiet. Lovely neighbors, well organized management
It’s nice and quiet, and the design of the apartment is very nice.
This apartment community has been nice, quiet and the staff is great.
Not enough parking. Residents park in the visitor parking so then there isn't any visitor parking for actual visitors.
I would recommend it because it’s calm and safe but the services not very good
I would highly recommend any friends and family to sofi. I would only warn them about getting a apartment with a absolute nut case that currently lives above my apartment.
Is good place to call home and beautiful area to be
This apartment community is well worth recommending. The area is beautifully landscaped, and well maintained and the apartments have been updated with attractive fixtures and flooring. But for me, the most important thing is that Sofi Lake Oswego is well run with an apartment manager who knows how to do the job and makes living at Sofi feel like home.
I have already recommended Sofi to others and will continue to do so.
