A Rare Find Haverford Place is a hidden jewel surrounded by woods (plenty of sun, too??), with a relaxed, quiet, safe community atmosphere, so close to downtown Georgetown! The staff are genuinely friendly, responsive and immediate with their attention and care, and are one of the main reasons I decided to rent here. The townhouse itself is elegant, homey and very affordable. So nice not to have to provide my own washer and dryer, and there's valet garbage! Set it outside your door and it gets picked up, five days a week! I'm extremely happy to live here and highly recommend it!"

My boyfriend and I lived here from May 2019 to August 2022. Truly, we had no major issues and were always satisfied with the service from the maintenance staff. They made that place what it was in my opinion. Working with the front staff was legit like pulling teeth. They rarely answered phone calls or emails unless you were terse with your tone. The reason we chose to move was due to a rent increase of $200. While it was a nice one-bedroom apartment, in no way shape or form was it worth that drastic increase. Nothing was being added to justify this adjustment. The front office made it very difficult when it came to us moving out. This is where they lost my recommendation to anyone looking to move into this complex. First, we HAD to schedule a move out walk through. That was fine but it HAD to be on a certain day and at a certain time…zero wiggle room. While it was very inconvenient to meet their expectations, I made it work. I waited for 20 min past the appointment time, and they did not show up. I tried to call repeatedly to see if there was something I missed regarding our appointment and there was zero answer. When I finally got a hold of the staff that afternoon to turn in my keys, (if I kept them one more day, we’d be charged), they said ‘well, we can do a walkthrough now’. I was unable due to rearranging my schedule to fit theirs. What was the point of scheduling a walkthrough when they were just going to waste my time and do their own?? During their walk through, they found issues and then charged us for them. When I disputed these charges and said we never did a walkthrough, I was told that they would send along pictures of the ‘damages’…which of course never transpired. There was normal wear and tear on the apartment and we were charged for things I’ve never heard of being charged for in the past. Save your money, troubles and time and look elsewhere. Unless they replace the front staff, find other accommodation in Georgetown. Never again, Haverford/Village Green. Also, we were not informed upon move in that that valet trash fee was mandatory until it was too late to change our mind…we lived right by the dumpster and never used the service. I'd give zero stars if I could for the office staff and 5 for maintenance.

I don't know where to start. We lived here for two years, first of all it is not worth the money. You are charged for trash removal where they pick it up from your porch with no option to opt out, we lived by the dumpster. We constantly had ants, every year the same problem, spray for them but they kept coming back, all over the from porch as well. We paid the lower deposit, you do not get this back and they do not apply it to any damages or money owed in the end. You are just out the $350 dollars or whatever amount they charge. Parking is not regulated, you may get to park in front of your unit or you may have to park down the block, I hope you don't have small children or groceries. Finally, when we moved I cleaned for days, top to bottom, replaced the stove plates with new ones cleaned oven and refrigerator, whipped cabinets down, scrubbed bathroom and took pictures in every room. We did have one blind with a broken slat, that will cost you $50. Within weeks from moving, any left over debt was sent to a collection agency, I contacted them and they said the amount owed included last months bills plus three broken blinds and floor tile that had to be replaced, remember, I took pics of all rooms. I payed the amount she stated for bills and ask for pictures of the damage, the pictures never came and they put the debt on my credit account. I called immediately and went ahead and payed the balance, but the damage was done, My good gredit score dropped 23 points and our bills were always on time there. Please keep looking for other options, this place is not worth the money or dishonesty of the establishment.

I currently live at Haverford Place and have lived her for almost two years. I have had the opportunity to live in a few other places and Haverford by far has been the best! Upon moving in, the staff did everything in their power to make sure that my move and paperwork went as smooth as possible. Since I moved in, I have only had to call for maintenance a total of three times (each time the maintenance staff made it to my unit with 12 hours). Both the maintenance and the office staff are amazing, they are personable and get to know you on a first-name basis. The community and the apartments are well maintained and the neighbor is quiet. If you want a safe, great place to stay look no further than Haverford. You won't be disappointed.

Just moved out recently and turned in my keys after living there for almost three and a half years. Only reason I moved out was change of job. An hour drive one-way every single day isn't worth living any place to me so had no choice. I'd have stayed here till I found a house I liked. The staff aren't just there for a pay check, I never had an issue with them. I think one time out of my entire time there I had to call them for maintenance work. The apartments and property are well maintained. The staff knew me by name, I think within the first four months of being there. Rent I don't think is high considering it is more of a family community. Other areas in Georgetown I'd consider more of college kids/younger folks. Lots of families around the area. Never had any issue with any of my neighbors. I'd highly recommend here for hassle free living.

Unlike the other review, I do personally live in Haverford and I'd recommend to anyone searching for quiet, comfortable living to keep looking...this is not it. Staff here are just working to get a paycheck; not go out of their way to be bothered with your problems or concerns. Rent is too high with the few amenities that are offered. If you're considering Georgetown as your home, keep looking.

I dont currently live in Haverford, but I know people that have for quite some time and have spent plenty of time there myself. The apartments are really nice, clean, and well taken care of. If there is an issue of any sort, the facility is right on the issue and fixing it in no time. Its spacious and the landscape is very well kept. The rent is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for so its completely worth every penny. Its a nice quiet area where people seem to respect others privacy. Included in the rent price is 24/7 access to a small gym and an in ground swimming pool. Haverford Apartments doesnt have that typical "apartment feel" at all; its the feeling of home, and that's what truly matters most. I highly recommend Haverford to everyone I talk to and would prefer them over any other apartments in Georgetown, Ky.
