Property Ratings at Hawaiian Village North
Be prepared for neighbors blasting music so loud you can hear the words through the floor. Parties during the week until all hours of the night over on the right side of the complex. Some people are keeping dogs in their apartments, you can hear them barking. If you sleep light, beware.
The head of management is the ABSOLUTE worst part of these apartments. The two younger ladies are amazing and they both go above and beyond to help each renter. The maintenance team is also an amazing group of men who are always very pleasant and polite. I won't add names but again the head manger is very nosey, and not on regular this things that pertain to her actual job, but to random other things, that have nothing to do with her collecting rent, or managing an apartment complex. Its VERY annoying to say the least. Also the pool has never been open even before covid. the washer and dryers here suck. They need to be fixed asap ??, the gate to the build is so out dated an upgrade would be nice. The whole apartment complex could use a new paint job. Once I was told I would have to replace my own light bulbs when they burnt out. like huh...? (its not a super big issue, but I've never had an apartment complex tell me that they don't replace light bulbs, other complex would always just come and replace it.) Also, the play area is ridiculous, wonder why there's never kids playing on it, its because its old, and genki!! like they may as well take that whole area and making it guest parking because two old swings bent in half with nothing else but rocks is not cutting for the children that live here, and on the topic of guest parking, there really isn't any to be honest, so you might as well go pick up your guest and then drive them over to your house because honey there is no space...oh and becareful driving down the road that leads you to these apartments super big pot wholes and when it rains it's floods that whole back road. yes you can drive through it but its not good if your engine sits low in your vehicle. Now on a few good things, these apartments are priced alright compared to other places for sure. BUT the apartments are also super small...( but you win some and lose some.) Also every now and again you'll see dear walking around. Yup REAL DEAR. So thats kind of neat. Also water, sewer, and garbage are included so thats a plus in my book, um what else...neighborhood looks skeptical but I personally feel its safe. There are also stores all around, walking distance, schools and parks so again win some lose some, but thats what happens when you're renter and not a home owner.
First of all the management is amazing and go above and beyond for the residents. They have made me feel at home. The maintenance is quick and they fix things right away. This is a quiet complex which i appreciate. The apartments are big and renovated nicely ! I have been here 3 years and plan on staying here for a long time!
Deserve more than 5 stars!!! I move here 11 months ago to this area because of military and believe me I am glad I choose this place over others. I don't have a trash problem, no pet feace problem because pets are not allowed which I don't blame them because people don't clean up behind them. Parking is plenty, your guess will not have a parking problem unless you have like 10 lol. All these issues that other overpriced apartments have I do not see here and trust me you will love it here. The inside is beautiful, you pick your space, I love space so I choose a spacious 2 x 2 with covered parking and it's well worth it, more space than I can fill including huge closet space!! I have no issue with getting anything fix either, I get things fix faster than my apartment in Florida. Office staff are very respectful and helpful in whatever way they can. I really love it here and I will be renewing my lease Dec.
I've tried calling this apartment twice both times the woman says that she will have an agent call me back. So I never got a call back but I did start getting calls at all hours from automatic machines and it calls me and hangs up when I answer then when I call back it says all workers are busy and to "try back later"
so many options to choose from. nice place for single person or the whole family.
My brief stay this far has been very relaxing and comfortable the staff and management have been very accommodating and timely with any maintenance that has been required. I truly recommend this complex as a family friendly place to stay and raise a family. The quality of the apartments here is commendable
Awesome location right in the city and is in a beautiful area, spacious living accommodations...very comfortable, and affordable...would recommend to a friend.
I moved from engles landing to hawaiian Village in 2005. I really enjoyed living here. The Staff was very nice, the grounds were always well kept, and the pool was easy to access. The one thing that would have made my experience living there even beter would be to have washing machings and dryers in the apt units.
