Bordered by Saluda Lake on the west side and the Reedy River on the east, Berea is a large neighborhood located about four miles northwest of Downtown Greenville. But even with its close proximity to the city, Berea features narrow, winding lanes and heavily wooded hills for a peaceful, countryside feel.
The residential areas are interspersed with several shopping districts, particularly along White Horse Road, where you'll find Westgate Shopping Center, Ingles Market, several restaurants, a bakery, specialty shops, and more. Another shopping and dining district is located near the intersection of Farrs Bridge Road and Hunts Bridge Road.

Property Ratings at Hawks Landing
The pest control is awful. They lie to you with the pictures they post online. The services here is awful. Administration is always behind on what needs to be fix, roaches everywhere. If you have kids don’t live here. Shootings almost all the time. The back apartments always has dealers and a lot of abnormalities.
My Daddy Lived Out Here & He Could Never Get Anything Fixed! The Apartment Is Filled With ROACHES!! Just Ride Through the Complex, You Will See from The Outside! Broken Windows, Thefts !! HORRIBLE
The other worker that cares about tenants is Tammy. If you complain about someone they don't care. This place is unsafe with children running around and parents not around. Reports of violence. Rats, roaches, and trash all over the property. I moved here because of the price. The price isn't worth staying. My apartment was damaged when I moved in and didn't see until it was too late. The leasing office is rude and doesn't help someone until you threaten to call a lawyer. DO NOT MOVE HERE! BAD IDEA! YOU WILL LEARN AS I DID IF YOU MOVE HERE!!!! ¡NO MUDARTE AQUÍ! ¡MALA IDEA! ¡APRENDERÁS COMO YO LO HICE SI TE MUDAS AQUÍ!
I would not recommend moving here. There is only one person on staff that gets things done and is likable is also overloaded constantly. The "renovations" completed in the past 3 years are almost purely superficial and do not add anything of value to the apartment itself. Maintenance is HORRIBLE. You have to harass and harangue and harass some more to get anything done. Yet the prices keep going up and up. They also like to routinely invade your space about once every 3 months to do some mysterious checking in. I have never lived at an apartment comes that did that so often. It is bizarre and extremely invasive. I could easily list about 10 more things that don't recommend this place well to people. Unfortunately I only have so many characters I am allowed to input.
I have had constant issues with various things within my apartment ever since I have moved in. I have called numerous times to get them out here to fix everything. They tell me that they are getting the parts needed to fix the various things that are wrong. It has been over 2 months! The office staff is wonderful, but the rest of what goes on here sucks. I have stuff that has been destroyed because they will not get out here and fix it. My bathroom now has mold and mildew in it because they will not fix the issues in it. I have called multiple times. They refuse to get back to me or come a fix the problems. I am moving out as soon as I can. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Oh, and I was told when I moved in that the road in the apartment complex is getting fixed. It has gotten worse and come to find out they are not fixing it any time soon. Needless to say, my car is messed up as well, and I drive slowly so I can attempt to keep my car going as well as possible. If I could, I would have rated this place a no star at all!
I moved out here about a year ago! I hate it they do not fix anything, they will say if it's not a emergency they don't have time! My neighbor toilet would not flush for a week and no one came out! They have a big pest problem I have see roaches, flying roaches, centerpedes, and spiders! They say that they spray but it never works! They always changing the name of the apartments but it's still the same rude staff that never pick up the phones! If you are smart you will not move out here! The pictures that are posted of the inside is not a apartment it is pictures of the office the apartments are very small and not worth the stress!
