Situated on the Wisconsin-Illinois state line, Beloit is a bustling metropolis that is mainly residential, offering public transportation, riverside views, and community parks! Enjoy paddle boats, picnic spots, playgrounds, and community events on the lawn at Riverside Park overlooking Rock River.
And if you love riverfront views, be sure to order delicious eats at the Rock Bar and Grill on Maple Avenue. Situated in Rock County, the city of Beloit is a populated urban area, but it’s surrounded by sprawling open land with the occasional single-family home scattered throughout.
So, though the city is lively, it’s surrounded by peaceful rural lands.

Property Ratings at Hawks Ridge Apartments
Hawks Ridge is the place I've happily called home for five years now. It's got everything you'd want and then some. There's secure underground parking that's super handy, especially during the snowy winters. The units are big and they even come with in-unit washers and dryers which is a major convenience. It's right off I43 and I90 making commuting a breeze. But the best part is the country setting. It's so peaceful and quiet. They've got a nice clubhouse, a fitness center, and a pool for those hot summer days. The maintenance guys are quick and helpful and the management company always takes care of any questions or issues I have had. It's also pet-friendly with lots of nice people walking their dogs. Yeah, Hawks Ridge is where I've enjoyed five wonderful years and look forward to more.
They will tow your car at any chance they get. They recently changed the parking to require you to pay to park in front of your own complex. So if you park there for more than 5 minutes they will call you about it going to be towed. It snowed? Your getting towed, if you don’t move it you will get less than an hours notice. So far they have called my roomate about my car going to get towed and not myself so they will give you no update. Have a second car that doesn’t run? Talk to someone that is willing to let you use their under spot for a bit as you are getting it up and running? They will ticket and tow you. This place is absolute garbage and you should never live here.
To echo other reviews about management, it is true. They changed management every year and it progressively got worse. The internet package was downgraded in 2019-20 for the worse and it was a complete disaster for a few months. The internet is very restrictive so many services like the Google Home suite won't run on it. At the moment management is horrible. Nothing gets done through the property manager, she is very incompetent. The only time you hear from them is if they want to charge you for something, even if it's not your fault. I honestly think all they care about here is to get as much money from you so that they can build more apartments. There's really no benefits of being a resident here given that the rent is high compared to what you get in the area. Before you're stuck with a lease, I would strongly advise to shop around elsewhere. I would pay a higher rent to have property managers who treat residents with more compassion and respect. I hope other residents will speak up about this so that something can be changed because this used to be a decent place to live. What a shame.
I feel very special here and not just another tenant who lives in unit xyz. This place if very busy but well maintained. Maintenance is always working on something as I see their golf carts zipping by everyday and sometimes each hour. The company recently had a maintenance appreciation day which I thought was very nice for their maintenance staff. The maintenance staff is also very careful with wearing masks upon request. You can tell they care about me and the other residents that live here.
lived here for 1 year because of a job transfer to the Beloit area. great place to leave. management is friendly. maintenance is top notch. perfect place to live. i wish i could find a gem like this for my next job location.
The appartment services of teronomy builders at hawksridge beloit has been very very poor recently they only care about you when you want to be a resident once you are a resident here they stop responding to your emails and phone calls please re think if you are thinking of renting here as you pay a very high rent for careless service
If you are concerned about the safety and security of where you live do not move in here or consider this property. Manager and corporate are more concerned about putting up new buildings then the security of their current tenants. When concerns are raised it will take multiple calls to get a response and when they say the repair will be done you should add at least a week. One building had the main garage door broken for a month with stray animals getting into the garage and trash before it was repaired. My recommendation is take you money and your safety seriously and rent from some where else.
We originally had some issues with the internet upgrade but since Spectrum fixed the problem, the internet speed has been amazingly fast and reliable. The internet and the TV with Spectrum is included in the rent so we are saving money by renting here. I know management cares because they always address our calls and we are never ignored. Way better than our previous landlords.
After touring three other apartment complexes in the Beloit area, I chose Hawks Ridge. To be honest, I did not think the apartments would be that nice. The one I'm moving into has new wood looking floors. I was expecting same old carpet. That sold me!
Definitely not worth the money; you could live on a beach somewhere cheaper and with better management
My neighbors are fantastic. They recently hired new management though. The previous managers always had the pool open by Memorial Day weekend. It will be going into the second week of June and the pool is ripped apart for repairs, after it was posted that it would be open 6/7. Many of us renewed our lease based on the amenity of having a pool. The parking lot/drives are full of pot holes that occasionally get patched. The one manager was posting about once a month that they needed to access apartments for one reason or another. The best was that charter needed to come in and change out cable boxes, anyone knows they don’t come out for this, you get the box and set it up yourself, don’t use an excuse. The rent here goes up every year, over four years it has went up around $200 a month. There are a few residents that rent the clubhouse and then try to deny those using the pool access to the only restrooms there or use of the workout facilities. On Memorial Day weekend someone posted private event. I surely hope management doesn’t allow some residents to deny others from using amenities like the restrooms because they rented the clubhouse, I pay a fair amount of rent and should not be denied use of these because someone rented one area of the clubhouse. Owners need to take a look at current management and also care about residents that have been here years, not just the new loft apartments.
New management is poor. Geared towards getting new tenants into the newly built apartments. Nothing else matters. Blacktop roads are not maintained. Holes all over. Advertising heated pool. Heated by the sun maybe. Pool always opens Memorial Day weekend. 2 weeks later and still not open. Every year rent is raised significantly. $200 in 4 years. All Hawks Ridge is about is taking your money. You do not matter after that. I do not suggest this place to anyone. And the college educated ladies running the place know nothing. Pathetic.
Awesome views. HUGE apartment. Professional management. Best location. Underground parking is great in the winter. They recently hired a new manager. Hope she stays becuase she is very pleasant to talk to and schedules maintenance promptly.
Hawks Ridge is a wonderful place to live. I love the quick freeway access to I90 or I43 and the amenities...the pool and fitness center and the sand volley ball court. I have lived here for three years now with minor maintenance requests that have been fixed within the day. The community environment is fantastic. Everyone is so friendly here. I don't plan on moving anytime soon.
I have been living here for only 6 months now but absolutely love it! The area is nice and the apartments are beautiful and in a great location. I have had no problems with staff or maintenance. Compared to my last place in Beloit, my one bedroom is much larger and well-maintained than my last, even though the price is a bit higher. Overall, love it here.
I have lived here for over a year now and love it!! It is a great location and the people here are very friendly. I love my patio!- very quiet compared to other places I have stayed. By far the best place to rent from in Beloit!!!
This place has gone to the dogs. The new apartment complex manager doesn't know the first going about tenant law and flaunts this ignorance at every discussion. She threatens eviction if argued with and really makes living here miserable. Thir corporate office turns a blind eye because the rent keeps coming in.
I have lived at Hawk's Ridge apartments for the past 6 years and have loved it. The units are beautiful and comfortable, the neighbors are friendly, and the landlord and onsite manager are very accommodating and helpful. The apartments have some wonderful perks too, like heated underground parking, a workout room, and the best part, an outdoor pool! I would definitely recommend these apartments to anyone looking, they are by far the best apartments in Beloit.
My apartment is a two bedroom upstairs apartment with a balcony and lovely view with a lot of trees. I love my place because it's so quiet out here. I love to come home it feels like my own cozy cave?? it has high ceilings and the guest bedroom has two large windows makes the room look larger then it is..The kitchen is large with a lot of cupboard and counter space large pantry and appliances included. The master bedroom has huge walk in closet and the room itself is very spacious. The bathroom is large and includes a washer and dryer. My place also has carpeting throughout . I have underground parking and storage unit also cable internet is included. Included is also a nice large pool and a nice clubhouse. I would love to stay here forever ??! I have lived out here for a year and a half and completely love it! Rent is a little high at 925.00 a month but it's worth it because they do allow dogs out here and that is charged extra in the rent. Well that's all for now have a great day and hope to talk to you soon...??
The apartments are on hill away from town. It makes it appear that you are out in the country, but not too far away from town. There are bike/walking trails right outside to make it easy for walking dogs and or exercising. At this apartment complex you get free heat which is nice because the winters can be long. I would recommend getting the upstairs unit because they are lofted and opens it up. The unit comes with a washer and drier and is the in the closet inside the unit. The closet is huge walk in so you are able to keep your clothes and supplies at. There is also a detached garage that comes with the unit. It is nothing special, but functional. The manager is really nice and easy to talk to.
