I have lived at Hawthorne for the past year and have had no complaints. The staff is friendly and genuinely want to get to know you. They have lots of fun events and keep the grounds immaculate. They are always updating things which I also love! I live on the third floor and haven’t had any noise issues. It is conveniently located close to shopping and about 20 minutes from the big hospitals in Winston! I highly recommend Hawthorne at Main if you need a place to live in Kernersville or if you are looking to get outside of downtown Winston but within reach!

I moved in during 2021. The community offers a lot of great amenities to residents and the leasing office schedules really cool events to encourage mingling of residents. I really enjoyed my time living here. Neighbors were very friendly, facilities were well maintained and the management staff were awesome!. I have lived in several apartment communities and the staff at this community are by far the most professional and courteous that I have dealt with. This is a very dog friendly community. They have a great dog park that was just recently redone with turf, and they provide a more than sufficient amount of pet waste stations. The property management takes their community guidelines seriously so you can trust that if you incur any problems they will be managed appropriately. Overall a really great apartment community in Kernersville!

Very very very disappointed in my first time apartment experience with this place. First, when I moved in here the first day, it smelled disgusting almost like something died in there and it turned out the kitchen sink garbage disposal was broke and there was stuff in there that smelled disgusting. The fact that they thought that was an okay and presentable welcome to a new tenant was red flag one. THEN, to my undisclosed surprise, there aren’t any lights in the living room and two bedrooms. Oh it gets better. Then there was a MICE in my apartment and I had to literally call and call almost every day for them to actually do something about it. They sent in “pest control” the first time and they literally came and put out ONE crappy trap in the laundry room for the whole apartment. At this point, I have stressed them that this mouse has been EVERYWHERE leaving droplets but no no ONE trap was supposed to take care of it. I called and called and everytime I do, someone in the office just HAS to ask me if I’m SURE there’s a mouse in there like I’m seeing things. I looked past that and was very nice about the situation. I literally had to take my one year old and go to my mom’s house because I was so freaked and grossed out. That mouse was there for over a month due to crappy traps they came and set. In the end, two maintenance guys that were super nice and ended up FINALLY doing something more effective that finally got rid of the mouse. THEN, oh yes there’s more, months past and there’s a bathroom leakage in the guest bathroom. Mind you, that was my fathers side of the apartment. They cut a big hole in that bathroom to try to fix the leak coming from the apartment upstairs. They literally left that hole there for atleast two weeks before emailing me to let me know they have a vendor coming to fix the hole. They emailed me that the vendor was going to start working on that apartment on the 30th and will be doing so for two weeks everyday from 8:30am-5pm for all the apartments in that building affected by this. But get this, NOBODY was to use that bathroom for those two weeks. It’s almost laughable. So, obviously that’s not going to work for me. We have three adults and an infant and they expected me to just be okay with us just operating on a one bath situation when I’m paying for two. I kindly let them know that it was not going to work for me and that I’m uncomfortable with that so they offered me to go stay at Hawthorne at the meadows which is another one o

They have a Dog on leash policy that is not followed, and if a dog bites you, basically you are on your own...Trying to finish a lease to get my 80 years old mother out of there.

We have lived at Hawthorne for a year and a half! We just signed our 3rd lease. The apartments have great space and lots of extra storage! The grounds are very well kept as well! They are also very pet friendly which was a plus for my family! The pool and grilling area are a great bonus and always clean! They are adding new things this month. So things can only get better!!
