The condition at move in could've been better. The door moldings and floor to wall wood trim have swollen from water damage. Cob webs in the closet tells me the place wasn't even looked through. There's paint running down the doors, trim and even the stained farm doors have white paint on them, there's paint on every piece of hardware, towel holders, door handles, mirrors, glass etc. I expected more.

The move-in process was effortless thanks to the leasing staff. The neighborhood is extremely quiet, which is great compared to my past community. Maintenance requests were handled quickly and the staff was very friendly. Cannot wait to enjoy the amenities Hayden Lofts has to offer.

It's been over a year now since I moved to Hayden Lofts and I have to say I continue to love living here. The staff are amazing and the maintenance team does an excellent job at taking care of the many needs of the Community. Urgent needs are addressed sometimes within hours of submitting your maintenance request. Are things perfect no, but it's apartment living. I have lived in apartment communities for the past 16 years and Hayden Lofts is by far my favorite. It's conveniently located to all of the things that I need. Since I have to live in an apartment I am very happy that I chose to live here. I have renewed my lease and look forward to what the future holds for me here. Keep up the good work Hayden Lofts Team!!

Great community, amazing amenities, frequent lack of communication with leasing office. They rarely answer phones or emails which can be frustrating to bridge communication especially with time sensitive issues. I’ve mentioned it several times in the past in person and on reviews they knew I wrote and still no change.

It’s been all around a great experience so far, super quiet apartment complex, beautiful apartment, and friendly neighbors! The best part of it all, is having somewhere to park when getting off of work at 2am!

I genuinely loved my apartment at first. The windows look great and the management and maintenance are very kind. After almost a year of living here though, I am planning to move ASAP. The build quality of these apartments is horrendous. My balcony door freezes over and has a horrible draft. My bedroom window that doesn’t open has a draft somehow. The flooring peels off. The closet doors come off their tracks daily. The shower is uneven and water sits unless I actively push the puddles to the drain from the corners. Besides all of the build quality issues, there is next to no storage besides the kitchen cabinets. There’s nowhere to store a vacuum. They don’t plow or clear the parking lots in any way if it snows. The sidewalks are cleared but are extremely icy from drainage going onto them and freezing. Not a management issue but the people who live here have horrible dog manners. Walking my dog is a nightmare some days because people simply let their dogs walk up to mine when I specifically pull her off into the grass to sit and wait for them to pass us. I am living in the most affordable apartment style here and I think it’s terrible value. I can’t imagine paying even more and not being furious.

We had a great first year, and then everything just seemed to go wrong all at once. We experienced a maintenance issue every other week. Our washer and dryer had to be replaced twice in the span of 3 months. Then, in the middle of summer, our fridge started acting up. We put in another request, and they sent someone to look at it and “replaced” it...except they didn’t. It was the same exact fridge. We ended up buying a thermometer to keep in there and keep an eye on, just to know we weren’t crazy. Our fridge officially bit the dust and took all our groceries with it. We finally got maintenance to replace it. They had permission to enter and did so as I was getting out of the shower. He came to the bathroom door and tried to open it to find it was locked. I had a very uncomfortable conversation with him, explaining I was not clothed. He stood right outside the door for a solid five minutes. I have actively not been in my unit while maintenance is there since. Besides appliances giving us trouble, we’ve also had issues with vents leaking frequently. The ceiling in our bedroom is covered in black dots where I’m assuming the nails are (they’re all over and in a symmetrical pattern). The air circulation is also atrocious. The bathroom in our bedroom is so cold, we’ve needed to use a space heater to warm it up-and it makes that big shower we were obsessed with miserable to use. We’ve had issues with some rooms being super cold and others on the other side being so hot you can barely breathe. We were also told that our unit was not even properly insulted. These issues wouldn’t be that big of a deal if management even acted like they cared at all. It’s often impossible to reach anyone at the office-email, phone calls, text, voicemail...they just won’t respond unless you essentially show up or just happen to catch them. I’ve also had an incident recently involving picking up a package. I went to the office on a Saturday (they open at 10, they claim), and I got there at 11 to find all the doors locked and not a person in site. Because I work during their office hours during the week, I left 2 VMs asking them to call me back so I could figure out how to get this package. I got a TEXT back telling me it was my responsibility to pick it up during office hours. THEN IT SHOULD BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE THERE DURING OFFICE HOURS. They also do a poor job at plowing their parking lots, particularly when it comes to ice. Overall, super disappointed.
