Northwest Greensboro sits just 10 miles outside the downtown area, but it provides a vastly different view of the city than the streets and suburbs around the city center. With access to Lake Higgins and Lake Brandt, Northwest Greensboro is a scenic setting that’s perfect for anyone who wants to be near urban conveniences, but enjoys the thrill of outdoor adventures and afternoons on the water.
The area of Northwest Greensboro is made up of a number of fantastic, unique neighborhoods and engaging apartment communities. The area’s vibrant outdoor atmosphere is broken up in spots by conveniently located shopping centers, big-box stores, and a few restaurants along the main thoroughfares. Bur-Mil Park provides 250 acres of pristine land set between the lakes to the north, and there are plenty of bike trails along the shores as well. Commuting to the city takes just a few minutes thanks to the interstates that serve the area.

Property Ratings at Hayleigh Village
Hayleigh Village has been my home for almost a year now and I couldn't be happier I made the move! The process was stress free thanks to Nadesha, Asia and Morgan! they helped me pick the perfect apartment and made me feel extremely comfortable from the moment I inquired about moving. Also, the amenities are great! I absolutely love the summer kitchen and resort style pool!! Lastly, I can't forget to mention the amazing maintenance team! Jake and James work around the clock and always get my work orders completed right away. From the office staff, maintenance team, location and school district I couldn't ask for a better place to live!

We're over the moon to read your glowing review of our community. Thank you for acknowledging what excellent service Nadesha, Asia, Morgan, Jake, James, and our team have consistently provided!
We have been here about 4 years now and this place has constantly gone downhill. The maintenance staff is great, but the office staff gets replaced every 6 months it seems. The front gate is frequently broken, they dont seem to enforce their own rules. People dump trash in front of the compactor, drive into the community using the exit gate, hang up drapes on their balconies, all are not allowed but no one gets punished for it.....and now to add insult to injury. The free amenities that they use to sell you on this place now cost $100 to use for 4 hours. They charge so much for rent here and then they still try to bleed as much money out of you as they can.

Thank you for taking the time to share your concerns. It seem there may be some confusion regarding the use of amenities. We would like to clarify that amenities are free for residents to use, and a fee is only required if a resident chooses to reserve an amenity for a private event. Otherwise, you may continue to enjoy amenities as you wish on a first come, first serve basis. We sincerely apologize for any misunderstanding. Also, we appreciate your concern and grievances with fellow residents not doing their part to take care of the community. We understand this is your home and our goal is to present to you an exceptional living experience. Please rest assured that we are working with residents on an individual basis to be in compliance with patio and trash policies, and we thank you for your patience. It is important to us to maintain our positive relationship with you so please feel free to connect with us at info@recarrollmanagement.com if you would like to discuss further. Thank you for being a valued resident of our community.
community is located in a nice area and is close to many stores. The staff is friendly and they are willing to work with you and the Apts are excellent.

This. community is located in a nice area and is close to many stores and the gym! All of the residents seem very friendly! it is also very pet friendly !:)
This is a really great complex to live at. When I came to Greensboro, i looked all around for place to call home, and when I found Hayleigh Village it was a great choice. The staff is friendly and they are willing to work with you and the Apts are excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.
We love the location. Feels like living in the country but close to city conveniences.
I have lived in the community for a little over three years. The community is ideal for someone like me, a shopper, whose always in the stores, several shopping centers are of convenience. I also enjoy the unique style of amenities as I make good use of them frequently.
Good amenities, the maintenance of the grounds were excellent - no trash or animal waste, looked to have mixed residents - not heavy in students or families only. Likes and suggestions: Nice, clean and gated community near lots of shopping and highways.
I like the elegance and beauty of the complex, the helpful staff, the apartment, the neighborhood, the price( we had it during their specials), the tidiness of the community, the clubhouse and the amenities! Suggestions will be to get a batter gated system for visitors. It takes too long and its frustrating to scroll all the way down the alphabet to find a name without a short cut especially when it's pouring rain or when it's freezing. Also, the sun kitchen is beautiful and gorgeous but it will also be nice to have a way for it for residents to use it during the cold season. I tried that and my party was almost a disaster because everybody was freezing. Besides these 2 minor things its a great place to live! Staff is awesome, friendly and professional! Best apartment living for me so far!
I especially like that it's safe, new and fresh, calm area, gym, pool, tennis, nice neighbors and very friendly staff. Great value for money!
Ensure the gates are really security gates without any gaps in the fencing and breakdown
I love the fact that the community is close to everything...10 mins to downtown, 15 mins to Friendly Shopping Center(I don't know if that's a good thing...Lol) and 20 mins to the airport! There are restaurants, grocery stores and dry cleaners and everything you need within in mins of the complex.
It is kept up very nicely. Do get a weekend overload with trash all over the sidewalk. Jacob the maintenance man is the greatest. He is very professional and gets things done in a timely manner. Highly recommend him.
I have been a resident here since April/2011. So far I have no major issues. It was somewhat of a challenge in the beginning when I first moved with staff but things has improved. An issue that I do have an issue with is the horrid smell that comes out of my bathroom sink. I was advised to pour Clorox down the drain from time to time to elevate the smell but it only goes away for short period of time. I enjoy the pool area sometimes when its not 50,000 people there. I feel that majority are non-residents and as a resident I feel I should feel comfortable going to the pool with the amount of money I pay to live here. Overall, I enjoy living here and I enjoy my spacious apartment.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Love the amenities and location
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Great location. Great staff, great value.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The pool is great Paring is easy and plentiful Good space to walk dogs Mostly quiet, though pool can get crowded in the evening
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Great staff here. Pool is nice. Young families. My kids like the pool and movie theatre
My likes and dislikes about this community are: i love the pool area
I honestly feel I should receive some sort of compensation since I paid a year for a dog park and a tennis court that were not completed. Oh, I also needed to move 90 days before my lease was up due to an ailing parent and when I spoke to Rebecca she told me there was nothing she could o and it would cost me $4000 to break my lease! Obviously I was not able to break my lease, so my sister had to leave her job and move from out of state to move in with my parents to help them. I think I've said enough here. RE Carroll company should really be more involved with what is going on at their apartment complex! I'm In management myself, and I would never allow this to happen! I hope it gets fixed fast for the sake of the current residents! Likes and suggestions: The management at the time were rude not friendly you'd walk into the office and they treated you as if you were an inconvenience. My lease was up and I thought about transferring to a larger apartment and they dragged their feet didn't contact me or return my calls for over a week. We had snow and no one put Ice melt down or shoveled the sidewalks, the maintenance guys were joyriding on the golf cart through the snow though, pet stations were never kept up always had over flowing waste. Was charged rent for a tennis court and dog park that were never completed. My neighbor upstairs I could hear EVERYTHING he did, even in the bedroom. When I moved out I gave a forwarding address and it was never keyed in, it took me to call the office to locate my deposit check that was sent to hayleigh village and if I didn't constantly follow up everyday and ask if I could check my old mailbox I would have lost almost $300.00. This was the worst year of my life, I will never recommend Hayleigh Village to anyone. I was in the office and I heard the leaving agent flat out lie to a possible new resident and I just couldn't believe it. At the time I lived there the office consisted of Rebecca, Lyndsay, and Dion. I honestly went to the R E Carroll office and sent an email and NOONE ever contacted me. Not to mention that for a year and the office knew about this, the water in the kitchen sink and bathroom sink were chalky and the only water that was clear came out in the bath tub. Anytime I needed to use water for cooking I needed to get it from the tub.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Very rude office person who refused to give a receipt for return of apt keys and gate passes on the morning we checked out ( lease up/ we were moving to Wilmington NC). We had been advised when we began our lease that if we lost the gate passes that the replacement cost would be $70. The morning we returned the keys
My likes and dislikes about this community are: On June 30, my cousins picked up the key to my apartment 1-D and did a walk-thru for me before I arrived from Dallas. The provided the office with the items that need to be fixed prior to me moving in. I arrived yesterday, July 4 and did a walk-thru to check out the apartment and to confirm that the items to be fixed had been fixed - not one of them have been fixed yet. I would like them to be fixed prior to me moving in.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The management is incompetent and promise things then don't deliver on them. Case in point: I was promised after moving out of thier apartments that I would be recieving my prorated rent for the month. After I had left when I called back to find out why my prorated rent had not showed up they said that they were not going to refund it. The reason they gave for not refunding the money was a form they filled out saying I would be staying the whole month. However they took my apartment key and had already rented out the apartment. Thus double dipping the rent. They don't care about thier tenants all they care about is getting your money.. All calls to the upper management of the property will be ignored.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Where to start...I had to threaten legal action to have a payment which they lost posted to my account 6 months after leaving... one time maintenance went to the wrong unit and then called and told us our concern was invalid... this place is literally at the end of the runway... front office staff never knows what's going on...
My likes and dislikes about this community are: This apartment is so good but the reason of moving is loud noise from upstairs. If the family is not moving up, we maybe will not move.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Location, and unfriendly
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Dislike the cheap fixtures in restroom, no storage in kitchen or bathroom, maintenance staff is awesome once they arrive, but it takes a lot to get them to arrive, leasing staff can lease, but can not handle day to day operations
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Quite, great pool, great staff.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Price is good for the location/size. Currently only have one dumpster for the entire complex (15 buildings, 360 apartments) Need to have at least one dumpster for every 2 or 3 buildings unless you like toting your trash across the complex on foot or driving with it in (or on top) of your car. Pool is great, BUT not sufficient for the number of people using it. If you want a poolside chair on a beautiful summer day, better plan on bringing your own or getting up there by 10:00 AM. I also believe that stronger security measures need to be implemented to reduce the number of non-residents from using the pool. People can simply park their vehicle in the clubhouse lot and walk through the gate without showing proof of residence (or at least a resident's guest).
My likes and dislikes about this community are: It actually has a homey feeling. Even though they have changed office staff many times and that has caused some issues with requests falling through the cracks, they have always been very nice and helpful. The maintenance staff on the other hand has never been late with any request we have but in. (Not a lot of maintenance issues, just the same one about our kitchen faucet). Lastly, until they actually build a dog park they need to remove it from the amenities list.
I PLAN ON MOVING WHEN MY LEASE IS UP.PROBLEM 1 NOISE YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBOORS WALK AND TALK WITHOUT EVEN TRYING.IF YOU DON'T LIKE A LOT OF CHILDREN THIS AINT THE PLACE FOR YOU .THE KIDS ARE NOISEY AND ARE EVERYWHERE.THE APARTMENTS LOOK REALLY NICE FROM THE OUTSIDE AND INSIDE BUT YOU CAN HEAR PEOPLE LIVING NEXT TO YOU OR ABOVE WALK TALK DROP THINGS AND EVEN GO TO THE BATHROOM THE CURRENT STAFF VERY CLUELESS WHAT THEY CHARGE FOR RENT IS NOT WORTH SIGNING A LEASE FOR .
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Quiet grounds, awesome pool area
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Great community.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The staff are terrible, dishonest, and are just in it to make a sale instead of do what is in the best interest of the renter.
I lived there from 12/2011 thru 12/2012. Beautiful apartment, TERRIBLE management. The front office staff is snobby and unprofessional. Maintenance requests go ignored and forget about submitting a request online. It will never be addressed. I never received confirmation that they got my 30 day notice that I was moving and they claimed they never got it... I had proof that I faxed it and mailed a copy and slipped a copy in the overnight drop box. Every time I went to the office they acted as if I was a hassle and it would kill them to answer a question. The day I went to turn in my keys they actually said "what do you want". I was appalled. I gave my keys and was not offered a final walk thru and they didn't even bother to say thank you or ask if there was a particular reason why I was moving. One guy asked where I was moving. I told him (Lincoln Green) and he just turned his nose up and said "oh". I called corporate and complained about the issue and asked about my security deposit refund and was assured I would have it within the 30 days as mandated by the state of NC. I got my refund 2 months later after several calls. Then they had the nerve to charge me $25 to remove a bag of trash from the kitchen. Well, I took a video and pics of the apt before I left and when I asked about the bag of garbage, "Becca" said she had to take a bag of garbage out that was left. I told her I have pictures and video and she promptly changed her story to blame it on the maintenance guys and refunded my money. I've had dog feces smeared into my car door handle and when I called the front office to let them know. They said there's nothing they can do about it and not to call the police to report vandalism. They had no proof it happened on Hayleigh Village property. Then why do they have signs posted that they have closed circuit video surveillance in the parking lots?? All in all, don't believe the hype. They are not brand new, they've been there going on 3 years and do the research... Even RE Carroll properties Better Business grade is an F.
