As one of Dallas' newest and trendiest mixed-use neighborhoods, Dallas Midtown has everything you could want and more: boutiques, theaters, cafes, restaurants, and entertainment venues, along with office space and luxury apartments. If I could leave 0 stars, I would! This apartment has the WORST MANAGEMENT TEAM, they’re complete FRAUDSTERS! They sell you an idea of a luxury living with their amenities and aesthetics but the management is HORRIBLE and they also make you pay to use these amenities. I feel absolutely violated! Don’t believe the 5-star reviews on here because they actually tell their employees to rate them 5-star and leave a nice comment. I would advise you save your money and go live somewhere else. I’m currently a resident at the Hazel so I’m speaking from experience . My car was parked on the third floor got stolen in Broad daylight from inside the garage and the lack of empathy and non-chalancy the management team has shown me is mind blowing! Every one seems to be undermining my situation and they don’t care about your well-being. I asked to be let out of my lease because I no longer feel safe staying at this apartment. I have always paid my rent on time, never defaulted and they declined, saying that’s not an OPTION, I repeat; they don’t care about your well-being. You don’t want to live in an apartment that doesn’t care about you. They have done absolutely nothing to help me or my case since this incident occurred, they’re WITHHOLDING evidence that could help with my investigation, reasons best known to them.
The Quote they give you does not match the lease after you submit the application. They added a new fee after I got a quote and submitted my application. Being the total payment higher than the one in the quote.

The package system is atrocious! Packages have been stolen since they choose NOT to install package lockers and leave packages lying around in a chaotic mailroom. The hallways frequently reek of weed and aren’t cleaned often. Apartment walls are VERY thin. There’s no system to automatically allow delivery drivers to deliver directly to your front door. The front desk staff can be loud, unfriendly, and unprofessional at times. The gym and the aesthetic of the apartments are great though.

I’ve lived at Hazel for almost a year now and it’s been fantastic! The amenities are incredible including a 2-story fitness center with a steam shower and dry sauna, a mini-market, and private offices. With fully frameless showers, French-door fridges, and range hoods in the kitchens, the units honestly feel nicer than lots of homes! The location on the tollway also means that I can get to my office in Uptown in 10 minutes. Couldn’t be happier with our decision to lease at Hazel!
