Outer Derby and Haysville are neighboring towns featuring farmland and open space. Although the area is rural, residents can easily travel a short distance north via Interstate 135 to get into Wichita. Farther travel is made accessible thanks to Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport, located just west of Wichita. Outer Derby and Haysville have an abundance of modern amenities in the centers of both towns off East Grand Road and North Baltimore Avenue respectively. Outside of the center of town, entertainment options are available at one of the several parks that dot the area, or travel less than 15 miles north to get into the heart of Wichita for additional excitement. Residential areas can be found towards the middle of both towns, and rental choices consist of affordable, mid-rise apartments and ranch-homes.

Rachel and Lindsey, the office managers are great people and easy to work with if issues come up. Maintenance, brad and Greg, take care of maintenance issues in a timely manner and are very friendly and professional. Neighbors are friendly and it's located close to schools and shopping. I've been here about 13 and have no plans on moving.

Hearthhollow is a perfect place for a starter home when starting out on your own. Close to the DRC and parks for children. They also have a pool open in the summertime for families to enjoy. I love that they try to include the community by doing different raffles for events each month. I would recommend Hearthhollow to anybody that was searching for a home in Derby.

Management does not care about you and are very rude. The parking lots fill with sewage overflowing from the drains constantly. They will charge you with extra non-substantiated charges upon move-out and smile at you as they screw you and your family over.
