I attempted to rent a 2 bedroom here that was available online 6-24 as I move from Texas. The female manager seemed nice enough on the phone, but actually Iied to me and rented a 2 bedroom behind my back. She claimed it was suddenly unavailable and then tried to push me into a 1 bedroom FLAT that was NOT listed online; only a 1 bedroom LOFT. Crickets when I asked her to send the floor plan. I even created an online account so I could lease it. Imagine my surprise when a 2 bedroom suddenly becomes available online 6-29, and I call left vm, send online inquiry and TRY to login into my account, only to find my email was deactivated. Crickets. No phone call back, no response to inquiry asking to lease the now available 2 bedroom. The property manager clearly do not want to lease to great credit and income, nice responsible quiet college professors unless its a unit SHE wants you to have. 1 star given for great location of the property. 1 star given for the great units. No more stars given due to how the manager behaved.

Absolutely terrible. Very poorly managed, apartments are out. The entire structure of the apartments need to be taken down and repaired. The company itself flex morality and transparency along with Integrity.

My GF moved in around fall. Everything in the apartment seems jerry rigged. Constant plumbing issues such as flooding and water backups. Right next to the train tracks which is most definitely going to ruin your sleep daily. There is nothing good about these apartments.

Recently moved in and the process from start to finish was seamless and I attribute it to the amazing onsite office staff. I relocated to Louisville because of work and had a lot of anxiety concerning the move. The office staff worked very hard to ensure my apartment was top notch come move in day. It was the first time I have ever moved anywhere and there weren’t a lot of issues on move-in day! I recommend this community not only because it is nice, clean, and quiet, but because the staff takes pride in their job and community. Excellent place to call home. I know in the future if any issues occur, they will treat them with the upmost importance placing priority on their residents needs!

Very difficult to find parking.

This is by far the best community I have ever lived at and let me tell you I have lived in many different places. I have been here for a year and will most definitely be renewing for another year at the end of the month. The office staff and maintenance man are on top of everything. When I moved in, everything was in excellent condition and the few requests I have put in have been fixed in the same week. I don’t know why people have left bad reviews but speaking from my personal opinion I have referred several of my friends and family and none of them regret the decision to move in fact they are super happy with their new townhome!

I have been renting since leaving my parents house for college almost 5 years ago, I have lived in various different complexes and even houses converted into apartments. Heatherstone ,and Kayla the property manager especially, have been the best BY FAR in my 5 years of renting experience. My home is clean and the perfect size, I have ultimate privacy, and it’s ALWAYS QUIET. The community is full of friendly people and never feels unsafe in anyway!! Kayla is not only extremely accessible and always helpful but she really cares! She will do everything in her power to fix any issues you may have, and she does it fast! I’ve only needed 2 things fixed in my home and they were repaired right away! I am an especially anxious and needy person who find issues with the smallest things, I mean it with all seriousness when I say Heatherstone apartment homes are the best quality,environment, and service you’re going to find in Louisville if you’re looking for an affordable place to rent in a quiet, pet friendly, safe, and comfortable community!!

I absolutely love my new community. Everyone here is so nice and the property manager makes everything even better. I just moved in and I love the washer and dryer connections, my AMAZING private patio area, and I plan to stay here for a very long time. Thank you for being so AWESOME Kayla!

Moved here about a year ago. After a terrible first time experience with a previous apartment complex, Heatherstone management certainly reinstalled my faith in renting again. Everything that I’ve needed fixed, has been fixed in a timely manner. Management is very easy to get ahold of. Even after hours which is very rare. Safe environment for myself and my daughter. Will certainly be extending my lease.

Very knowledgeable about surrounding community. Love the atmosphere and the quietness. Never any trouble. Made me feel at home. Always available when needed. Highly recommend this place!!

This place is terrible. Old appliance, very lazy manager and maintenance guy. Don't fix anything I ask for. Fix one thing out of 4 after 4 months of living here. I'm about it move out even tho I have a year lease. I can't have this I my life and keep looking. You will regret this place

They've raised the rent every year and now it's ridiculous. They had the property remodeled a few years ago by folks who clearly weren't professionals. They have one maintanece man for the whole property and he can't possibly keep this old property up alone. I've had a whole in my roof for years which allows animals to come in and run over my head. My air was broken for 2 summer's in a row and it was upwards of 90 degrees in my unit. Everything takes months to fix. Someone has tried to break in twice. Someone recently stole my purse with my keys on a Sunday. They told me being locked out wasn't an emergency and if they had time they would let me in. Terrible. No empathy and very unprofessional. Find somewhere else to live.

These units need general maintenance. Most units need new doors and windows. "Update" where done not done by professional installers. I fought with management for three months the get a 8 inch hole in rafters fixed. If you don't believe this review just drive to the back of the complex before going into the office up front. You'll see a sliding glass door that a tree broke two months ago the still have not been fixed. Look close at the front doors. Count how many have major dents in them.

We moved in in July 2016 from Michigan. The very first night we spent in a hotel because our air did not work and it was over 100 degrees in the place. It was not looked at till after five the next day and not fixed till after seven pm. our first floor toilet was clogged with in the first week of us moving in. Maintenance snaked it a week later and told us that day we needed a new toilet down stairs. Thinking we were getting a new one it clogged again that same day. Maintenance showed up two weeks later to snake it. Thank pattern kept happening untill January 2017. We finally got a new one because we threatened to call a lawyer. We turned our air conditioner on in February 2017 to find out it did not work. We told them right away. Now it was February so maybe it was not high on the list of things to fix. . . it is now April and 83 degrees in my place with my air still not working. They told me at 10 am it would be fixed today. It is now 6 pm and they have not even showed up. I can not cook because my windows do not have screens so third is no air flow. They do not care about you here and we are getting a lawyer now. They can afford rocks and new landscaping but not screens for windows. One more thing four neighbors have told them we have wasps in our back patios so we can not go out. I was told I was lying so I took pictures.
