Property Ratings at Hemet Meadows
and I'd give it zero stars if I could! I'm going to keep this as short as possible, I am a heavily tattooed woman, so I assume let the judgement commence, and that's fine I'm used to it! But let me tell you a little something about myself, been on my own since I was 18, without needing to disclose my current age I've been on my own for many many years, anyway I'm used too the looks and judgment, but this particular day I walked into the leasing office (after calling the day before and confirming there was a "two bedroom unit that would be coming available mid-end October") I happen to currently live across the street from these apartments and I saw the particular unit that people were moving out of, so the following day I go in to the office with a friend and my son, that's when Karen walks in from around the corner, and you can instantly see the look on her face change, I proceed to tell her why am there but I want to turn in an application and I have my money order for $30 and then proceeds to tell me "well we don't have anything available, maybe in 30-45 days" so I tell her ok, can I please leave my application, she replies with a strong NO, and follows that with a "I can tell you right now you don't have what we need" regarding the application and money order pointing out that I need "three months worth of paycheck stubs and a photo ID" she did Not ask if I had those things she made the assumption I did not have what it takes to qualify. So i leave, very hurt and upset, embarrassed my son had to witness this BlATANT act. So I have my friend call to ask the same question I did if they have any two bedroom units available to which Karen told him "yes she sure did coming up mid/end October" welp would you look at that!!! I have a few Friends that live there so I have seen the inside of the units and I have wanted to live there for quite sometime, finally saw they were leasing and jumped on the "opportunity" Now I wouldn't live here if they paid me too, It's 2018 people have tattoos I find it so hard to believe that people still judge people based on that why don't you judge me based on the fact that I've been raising for amazing humans by myself, or how about by the fact that I help with my two granddaughters, or about you judge me by the fact that my home is so clean you can eat off my floors, or the fact that I'm an all-around good citizen, or how about I have tattoos but I've never been to jail, go figure.
Property Manager at Hemet Meadows, Responded To This Review
Thank you for your review and I apologize that our service did not satisfy your expectations. At the time you visited the property there were no homes available. I recommended that you check back, as available does often change. Unfortunately, applications can’t be accepted, if there is not an available home. Additionally, when applying there are very strict requirements for what needs to accompany an application, which may include the last three original pay stubs. Hemet Meadow Homes is an equal opportunity housing provider and anyone who meets our qualifications is welcome to live here. I would welcome a conversation with you regarding your visit and hope that you do give me a call.
I've been in my apartment for almost a year. The apartment is a nice spacious townhouse style 1 bedroom 1.5 bath with pation. Gated community 12 units. Landlord and management are very great! Things get fixed when needed. There is monthly pest control to keep pests away! Overall I'm satisfied with the experience I've had with my apartment complex. And they don't charge monthly rent for pets. Just one low deposit of $125. And rent at $700 $15 additional occupants over 1 person.
My boyfriend and I have moved around a lot and we finally decided we want to break off and move into a place with each other by ourselves. We looked for apartments and all that but we had a dog who was a pit bull mix. We couldn't find anyone that would allow us to take her until we came upon Hemet Meadows. They said they knew she was a pit bull mix so they would accept her as long as her papers said mix. But not only is the fact that they took my dog in a bonus, but the apartment is amazing. My boyfriend and I have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom. From the first moment that you walk in, you are greeted with a nice size living-room. Perfect for a couch, love seat and coffee table. There's room for the entertainment system too. Only con about it is you can only really have the living room set one way. Other than that, it's very comfortable and homey. Now the dining room is attached to the living room which makes both sides small. However, we just didn't put down a dining room set and just sit on the couch and use the coffee table. I know that is not what lots of other people like to do, but that is your only real option or it will be very clustered and cramped. Now you get to the kitchen which is attached to the living/dining area. The kitchen is small but not a big problem. There's a dishwasher and a stove. You supply your own fridge and there's lots of top and bottom cabinet space along with drawers for all of your utensils. When you exit the kitchen and turn towards the hallway, just before you reach it, there is a storage closet. It's not very big so you can't really put much stuff in it which is a con by itself because that is your only sense of storage. After passing the storage closet, the first door you will come to is on your right. Behind that door is the master bedroom. It's very decently sized with a nice vanity mirror with a sink below it. The toilet and shower are behind the door on your right and is perfect sized for one person. The closet is straight across from the bathroom and is a walk in and perfect for 2. Now the second bedroom is about half the size of the master which is perfect for a child. And it has a nice sized closet with two doors. And the second bathroom is larger than the master and sit across from the second bedroom. The garage holds hook-ups to the washer and dryer and fits a large car perfectly. Overall, this place is perfect for small company but don't look to live here if you have more than 4. :)
