Property Ratings at Heritage Apartments
I’ve been here a lot of years now! I’m proud to be here! The property boasts large rooms where you won’t find in many properties now! It’s very peaceful and quit! It’s a very safe property and community though no neighborhood is completely safe that’s just not the real world! We have the occasional fire or EMT sirens fireworks and celebrations! I feel very safe here! I walk and sit outside! I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised by this community and complex! The staff is courteous kind and professional of course that can be changed if you present yourself rude! They strive to keep the property maintained!
At the beginning of my stay at Heritage the office staff appeared to be very nice and professional. Unfortunately, the professional behavior didn't last. During my stay the office staff displayed more than a few narcissistic tendencies and for the most part were non responsive. There was also a level of immaturity and toxic behavior displayed by different members of the staff at different times that would be disturbing/upsetting to most people. As of March 2021, all of these employees are currently still employed at Heritage and they are the same employees that a new resident would be dealing with. Some of the buildings are also not maintained as they should be and there may be a serious mold problem, as air quality seems to be an issue also within some of the buildings. For these reasons I don't recommend this complex to anyone. Disclaimer: This review is just my personal opinion and my own personal experience when I was living at Heritage. As with anything you should trust your own judgement and experience. There are clearly other people that have had positive experiences at this complex. Although most of my previous neighbors shared experiences similar to my own, if you are fortunate enough not to have to deal with the office staff and you don't have any maintenance issues your stay at Heritage might not be as bad as mine was.
Theft, bad attitude with staff, outdated appliances
I lived in Heritage Apartments for a little over 7 years. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an apartment in St. Charles. The staff was always quick to respond and resolve maintence issues. It was also a huge perk that after the first year was up, the lease automatically changed to month-to-month with no extra charge. In seven years, my rent only went up a handful of times and not by much. The complex was quiet with plenty of parking. Heritage is a great value. You won’t regret living there!
This was a nice place to live. The only negative were all those steps. They do get very slippery with the outdoor elements in them. So be careful but besides that a great place to live.
I moved in November 2017 and there were a few things that weren’t resolved in the apartment like a missing smoke detector for a month. I have ground floor. So that equals bugs right, yes it does. I had a pill bug problem, they sprayed for it. The kitchen is small so if you are looking at the 2 bedroom 1 bath, don’t. Either stick with a 1 bed or do a 2 bed 2 bath, depending if you are a couple or a single person & needs a office. I hate the stove, sink & the washer and dryer. Money wise, you’ll save sorta. The electric is what really gets you, the parking sucks. Terribly. & that’s about it. I’m looking at different places or as soon as a 2 bedroom 2 bath opens, I’m taking it.
By far the best apartment complex I have lived in my life. Due to the nature of my job I have moved around so many times and this is probably the eighth different complex I have ever lived in. It is a quiet apartment complex and everybody seems to get along. The units are top notch and the maintenance guy is by far the best maintenance I have seen in my life. If I have ever had a problem they come and fix it within an hour. I would highly highly recommend living here to anyone looking for an apartment.
Pretty good price for 980 square feet, new appliance 1 bedroom 1 bath, nice and quiet not really a party type of place, small shallow pool no gym no courts but for the peace and quiet it's worth it.
Great staff, perfect location, neighborhood is nice you cant go wrong with these apartments.
