With commutes to Downtown Columbus taking just 15 minutes, Grove City apartments are perfect for commuters. But once you start exploring, you'll quickly realize there's much more to love about Grove City than your commute time.
With Ohio State University just 10 miles away, college sports fans will appreciate being able to cheer on the Buckeyes at Ohio Stadium. Art lovers will appreciate the Short North Arts District, the Sommer House Gallery, and the Little Theatre off Broadway (paranormal enthusiasts will enjoy learning about the theater's ghost). Property Ratings at Heritage Glen
The 2 women who work in the office are very unprofessional. When people move and apartments need fixing they don't send someone to fix it. They don't help at all. They should change them.
Stay away from here. They won’t fix anything and give you the run around.
Been here for 3 years. Trash situation is ridiculous. Because the dumpsters have been removed and replaced with a rarely functioning compactor, residents still pile there trash where the dumpsters used to be. And when the compactors down, trash piles up all around.. Alicia is awful, don’t expect to ever have your phone calls answered or returned. Not even emails.. If and when you do get ahold of maintenance to fix issues expect a lousy repair. I will say we’ve had a better experience with one maintenance man in particular who seems to actually care about his job. Unfortunately Alicias poor attitude and ability to do her job trumps his good work ethic. I’ve never been so disappointed in management before, I will not be resigning my lease this year. I’ve recommended multiple people to move into this complex and they’ve all regretted it. The light bulbs on the entrance of your apartment are your responsibility and no matter what bulb you put in THEY ARE ALWAYS BLOWING OUT. Spend the extra money and get into a better ran apartment complex. There is nothing luxurious about this place. And don’t get me started on the “fitness room”
Quiet, lovely community. Management is helpful and friendly. I've just renewed my lease for the second time and couldn't be happier. Neighbors are kind and everyone gets on well. I've read the complaints about the dumpsters being removed and in the beginning it was a bit of an adjustment but I think in the end can only help to make the community more attractive. Overall I've been very happy here.
I’ve lived here since 10/2018 it’s a great community close to my job,, upkeep is fantastic,, and it’s very peaceful here, I’ll be renewing my lease once again! ????
Do not rent here if you want it to be terribly inconvenient to simply take out the trash. They removed all dumpsters and only have one now, so depending on where you live you might walk a half mile just to take out the trash.
I have lived here for the last six months and have been happy with my experience. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I appreciate the annual inspections (maintenance and pest control), let’s me know they really care about the apartments and grounds. I have one bedroom apartment and it’s the perfect size. The outside porch/balconies are a good size and well maintained. The area is very quiet and safe, and the security system is a added bonus. I have renewed my lease and excited to spend my next year enjoying these great apartments
Renters beware. This is not a luxury community. It's cheap barely held together. Look elsewhere.
We have lived there for the past three years - living first in a small one bedroom apartments and upgrading when our family grew to a two bedroom apartment. We have enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone looking for nice, affordable living!
Love living here! It’s a nice, quiet area. The staff is awesome at helping to every need you have.
I have lived here for a few months now and i have to say that i LOVE it!! My apartment is beautiful! The Leasing agent was more then helpful when i first moved in! i had to reschedule twice and she worked with me completely! I had kids with me and she totally understood my time needs and had complete patience with me. Since living here, I have only had one m issue, it was not a emergency and was fixed within 2 days! the are very animal friendly and even provide doggie dump stations and bags! parking is NOT a problem at all which surprised me a lot! There is visitor parking and more then enough spots for the residents!
My husband and I have considered moving our family here. Unfortunately, communication is lacking - we cannot seem to get the staff to schedule a tour or acknowledge follow up emails. During our first visit on a whim, we were told the unit we were interested in would be available to view the following weekend. The representative took our contact info and scheduled a tour for us. Upon our arrival the following weekend, we were told the unit was still not ready, yet no one bothered to contact us to cancel our appointment, so it was a complete waste of time on an already busy Saturday. The rep apologized and promised to follow up by phone when ready. A week later, still nothing. I sent a follow up email for an update and since then another week has passed with no response. Apparently the staff could care less about renting to us and so we will take our business elsewhere. Such poor communication and disregard for those considering living here is a huge red flag for me; certainly not a management team I would want to have to depend on as a resident.
I would never live here again! Sadly I’m having to wait out my lease until I can finally leave. This is my second year here and it continues to get worse and worse. Managment DOES NOT CARE! Maintenance will almost never fix anything and when they do it is fixed incorrectly. The apartments reek of cigarettes if any of the neighboring apartments smoke and Managment will not seal off the vents. I have had issues with a nieghbor for over a year and Managment still will not step in. Instead of fixing the issue they avoid my phone calls and emails and will not contact me back. DO NOT LIVE IN THESE TERRIBLE APARMTNETS! They are cheaper in grove city for a reason!
Here for several years. Going downhill fast. When it was a Crawford/Hoying property, it was okay. Now Spring Property Mgmt...will lease to anyone. Next door neighbor moved in last November. Never goes to work. Always has traffic in and out of her apartment. People spending weeks that are not on the lease. They give her money to stay. Sometimes has 4 adults and 4 kids staying in apartment for weeks, which is against state code of occupancy. Office has no idea of who is in their units. Is this a bed and breakfast?? Hotel???? Trash everywhere. Noise from the people who stay with the neighbor is incredible...all hours of the day. Sounds like they're bouncing off the walls...stomp up and down stairs so hard that it vibrates my wall. Different people always in and out...spend weeks at a time here and then leave after 2-3 weeks, and different people show up to stay for weeks, and on it goes. Not sure how paying their rent when the lessee never leaves the apartment. Possible drug dealers?? If she does leave for a day or two, she leaves apartment in the hands of her "company" and their boyfriends. She has other people giving her money to stay at her apartment, so she can pay her rent. Unsure how she passed the initial credit check. They NEVER leave. Always there. Very disrespectful of the neighbors. Her oldest kid is a bully. Throws his trash onto my steps, patio. Trash bin is not even 10ft away from their door. Throws rocks and handfuls of gravel at cars. Plays kickball, football in the parking lot, again unsupervised, which the ball also ends up hitting the parked cars. Thinks parking lot is a playground. Always unsupervised by adults. Guys that "visit" and end up staying for weeks, are bullies as well. Totally make me feel uncomfortable. Have to wonder how paying rent when never no one ever leaves to go to work...even if on welfare, they would not receive enough to pay their bills...when I complained to office, they said to "put complaints in writing". Afraid of the retaliation factor. Maintenance has walked in unannounced when they are supposed to give 24 hr notice before entering. I could go on...please take my advice!! Not worth the money they charge in rent. "Luxury condominiums" is definitely false advertising here...
Management never returns phone calls. Maintenance rarely fixes issues. Carpet was stained and matted. Asked for 3 years to have it cleaned. Drugs are rampant in the complex. Known heroin dealer is selling out of his apartment. Had a drug dealer living next to me. Took two years to get him out. All documented with local police. Management turned a blind eye. Refused to get involved. I had drug clients and runners knocking on my door by mistake at all hours of the night. All of this documented on video. Manager refused to help. Apartments are dirty at move in.
When I moved into my apartment, it had not been cleaned. There was hair in the bathroom sink, the shower was molded, and the toilet was filthy. The carpet in the bedroom you could tell had been replaced, but where it was seamed to the hallway throughout the rest of the apartment the carpet was matted, stained, and had a bad odor. I let management know all of these things, and they were not willing to do anything. I had to move in that day because my lease at my old apartment was up. I moved in and thoroughly cleaned the apartment myself. I have had several work orders come up, and they never fix them. They do send maintenance, but the problem I experience is never solved. For example, my dishwasher seal was dry rotted. When I tried to do a load of dishes it leaked water everywhere. Maintenance came and just shoved the existing seal back into the door, and said it was fixed. When I went to do another load of dishes the same thing happened. I called and maintenance has been back three times and the issue is yet to be fixed. The apartments look nice, but I wouldn't recommend them.
