Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky, resting alongside the Ohio River on the Kentucky-Indiana border. The architecture in Louisville is a mix of old and new, with historic neighborhoods comprised of Victorian houses and towering skyscrapers scattered throughout the downtown area, many of which contain upscale apartments and condos available for rent.
The amenities in Louisville are just as diverse as the architecture. Renting in Louisville affords you the opportunity to see the famous Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs, learn more about a boxing legend at the Muhammad Ali Center, and meet a range of animals at the Louisville Zoo. The city’s award-winning restaurant scene is an exemplary display of Southern cooking. Just outside the city lies the Louisville Mega Cavern, a vast underground space offering a broad range of adventurous attractions.

Property Ratings at Heritage Green Apartments
If you want rent free tenants such as bed bugs, roaches, or even rats, by all means spend your money here. I had the worst experience ever from these people especially the "manager" they didn't care about much of anything they moved into a dirty apartment. I havent got to move in all the way and mattress had big bed bug on it.... they call pest control he tells me "im going to lie they called me over to make sure you didnt bring them with you." He goes looking sround and stated "there is no way you brought these in because your belongings aren't showing any signs of bed bugs." He also says, "i know for a fact it came from the complex. There is at least one apartment in every building in this complex that has bed bugs." The fridge was disgusting, cleaned it out and more itty bitty bugs kept appearing. Opened up the cabinets roaches scattering. I didn't have LG&E for 3 days when I first moved in. Which was a Friday , they say to have it cut on before you move in but if I'm moving on a Friday from one place to another am I supposed to be in the dark? And since when doesn't the apartment complex doesn't already have the utilities on before the tenant moves in? Brought it to their attention and all they did was place blame and tried to say I didn't pay the bill.... what bill I just moved in!! So of course I had to call LG&E myself to figure out what was going on and it turned out they definitely dropped the ball. I've done everything I could to make the best of my bad situation but it just kept getting worse. Police was constantly in the apartment complex.it just doesn't feel safe. Now I'm unable to rent because i had to go through eviction process. I didnt get evicted but i did leave before the 7 days. it shows that I owe them over $19,000
I have been here for over 4 years and I have seen so many changes for the good. I see some of the complaints and I have to question if they are for real. There are some people around here that don't keep their apartment areas clean and then expect the workers to clean up behind them, which they do but that is not right. In the 4 years I have lived here, yes they raise the rent BUT let me say it is minimal compared to other places and they usually give you a deal if you renew early. I am very happy with my apartment, my rent and all the staff! Thank you to the Owners, Ms. Glenda and Ms. Sasha for keeping things on the up and up around here! Looking forward to a few more years at Heritage Green!

Thank you for your 5 Star Review..!!" Thank you for providing us with your feedback about our business. We’re delighted to hear that you received friendly, attentive service from our office staff! Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we encourage you to let us know if there’s anything we can do to deliver an even better experience
My wife wrote a review so here I am. I couldn't say enough good things about the leasing office staff. Kelli, Glenda, and Sasha have went above and beyond any expectations set. Maintenance is just a friendly and time efficient. It's a breath of fresh air being somewhere you feel valued compared to past experiences. Would give 10 stars if I could.
I've been here a few months and I just want to say Kelly, Sasha, and Glenda are amazing. I fell on some hardships and they sprung into action to help me. A lot of people write about bad experiences but I've lived several different places and the experience here is much more personal. They not only make you feel like you're home, but they make you feel like family.

I did my application May 16th and my inspection is tomorrow at 10:30am and I get my keys as well tomorrow. They move very fast! And the customer service is so awesome! Everyone who works there is so sweet and nice. I can’t wait to move tomorrow I’m super excited.

Thanks for your 5-star review! ! ! Even we are excited to have you in our family. If there is anything we can do to help, please let us know directly.
I have lived here for a year. I must say it was my easiest rental experience in all my years. Everything was done online, starting from the application through out the year including all rent payments and any maintenance requests. The communication is quick easy and efficient. We have also received our security deposit returned right away.

Your 5-star review made our day! Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us!
If I could give them a zero I would. I had the absolute worst experience with these apartments! They are so nice until you actually sign a lease with them and then it goes down hill. The leasing office manger and little workers are so rude. I didn’t have a working toilet for 4 months after moving in and having to actually go and sit in the office for the to bring me a new toilet. Also, They make you pay to clean the apartment ( stating it’s in the lease, but it’s not, now they’ll probably put it in there)and then still charge a cleaning fee off $850. I absolutely hated it. LITERALLY go anywhere else before checking them out. Not in a good neighborhood, learned that from people telling me everyday asking why do I live here. It’s not safe. Please do your research.

Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience, we really appreciate you bringing this issue to our attention. We care deeply about our residents and want to provide the most comfortable experience possible.
The property is covered in garbage, neighbors break windows, landlords don't care. They just raise the rent by 200 dollars and leave the tenants to fend for themselves.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5 star rating - it's much appreciated!
We currently live here and it’s the worst place ever. We’ve been here since March and already want to leave! The neighbors harass you 25/8. The managers do not do anything because they say “oh we don’t have any say it’s an apartment they’re going to do stuff.” They don’t ever return phone calls up front, or emails. There is glass up front and in the back. Cars with flat tires and broken windows parked everywhere that don’t belong here. Kids writing on buildings left and right. Don’t forget to mention the cockroaches and bed bugs that are in the buildings that they “let pest control know” on their own time to send them out. Honestly the most disgusting place to live. They’re not “cleaning it up” while it looks absolutely disgusting.

I’ve been here almost 2 years in November and I absolutely love it. The properties are beautiful and the staff is great?? I haven’t had any trouble since I’ve been here
They're kind until you sign the lease. I've had lots of service issues. Massive leak, and it's been almost a week after submitting a service request and emailing about water damage and they won't get back. Plus neighbors leave trash anywhere and no one picks it up.
They never come fix anything and the management is POOR. They took my 500 dollar deposit and now won’t return any emails or calls!
First year living here was tolerable to a certain extent until more people moved in as well. After that, there were more frequent shootings, noisy neighbors, and huge bugs outside on the porch. I extended my lease for personal reasons and recently someone has stolen my very important package from in front of my front door and put nail polish all over my car. I’m not sure who it was because I don’t talk to anyone here and I’m not even home half of the time. Leasing office doesn’t answer their phone nor return calls so I could not inquiry about them having cameras so I could press charges or even about breaking my lease. There is broken glass in parking lots/spaces and terrible pot holes as well. As well as neighbors who get mad over unassigned parking spaces as well. Also, the bathroom ceiling caved in within the first couple of weeks of moving in and it took them forever to get it fixed. Bathroom shower molds very easily. Definitely will not be living here a third year as it’s not worth it at all.
The apartment complex is filthy. Bugs everywhere. The rent office is unprofessional and tries to get over any way possible. I highly recommend NOT moving here!
Bugs and not safe. Lots of shootings. Noisy neigbors.
I toured the 2 bedroom unit, and it is beautiful. It is on the small side, but the way it has been updated is so cute. The staff was so nice. I am a first time renter, and Susan was so nice to help me.

Thank you so very much! I hope you decide to become part of our new renovation movement at Heritage Green where History meets Modern.
I am currently a tenant at this apartment. The first year was okay. There were a couple of things I dislike: the bathroom and the space. With a 2BR you will not be able to fit a 4 chair dinning table inside of the unit and be comfortable. the rooms are very tiny. With a family of 3, these apartments aren’t the best for the family size. The actual apartment DO NOT look like the model apartment the only thing that looks “remodel” is the kitchen and that’s barely remodel itself. Before signing your lease make sure you are able to see your actual unit. I wasn’t able to and I would’ve never sign my lease without seeing the unit itself. The overall environment is chill there isn’t too much going on. I won’t say it’ll last that long since majority of the building in the complex are vacant. Management can be better. Susan is very unprofessional and rude. You have to be very stern with her if not she’ll talk to you any kind of way. Pam is awesome and such a sweetheart. There is a new girl there and I haven’t had too many interactions with her. If you do decide to have these apartment as an option please please please do your research. Make sure you are very adamant about seeing the unit before signing your lease.

Thank you so very much for your input. If you have any issues we would love to discuss them with you. I'm glad that you are pleased with the majority of your interactions with the staff. Susan is the community manager, sometimes enforcing the rules and regulations of the property can be cumbersome. We would love to also address any ascetic issue with your unit, please call the schedule an appointment.
