Property Ratings at Heritage Hills
I lived here for about 2 years. This was by far the best experience I've had with staff, maintenance and cleanliness. It was always quiet, the rooms are spacious in the older building, and the deck is enormous. The neighbors were friendly and Shari (groundskeeper) is FANTASTIC! If I hadn't bought a home, I would've stayed here indefinitely. Would 100% recommend!
Nice area to live in but downstairs neighbor was always loud. I informed the office and nothing was even done about it. Also I was cheated out of my deposit. I left the apartment really clean and even had the carpets cleaned. In the end they still took out money out of my deposit for the carpets to be cleaned. If I would have known that I would have never waisted my money! I had a couple other issues with my deposit. My advice don’t move here in less you don’t mind loud neighbors and if you don’t care about getting your deposit back!

We thank you for leaving a review, however since you've submitted anonymously we're unable to review your history of noise complaints or the charges applied to your move-out. We don't want any resident to leave our community feeling as though they've been treated unfairly, and so if you could contact us with your concerns at your earliest convenience we would very much appreciate it. Hope to hear from you soon, The team at Heritage Hills
I lived in the new complex of Heritage Hills and my unit was extremely clean and new. However my neighbors were very noisy, everyone smoked pot when the apartment rules strictly said no marijuana was allowed on premises; management did nothing to enforce the rule. This lady also smoked her cigarette right outside the main entrance every single day and management said nothing. They probably pitied her because she sat in a wheelchair. The gym and pool were disgusting. The same stains and dust bunnies were there day after day. The carpet outside my unit steadily became dirtier as management failed to maintain it. My neighbors had fights and outbursts at 2am every other week; again, management did nothing. Upon returning the key to move out of this crappy place, Lexy, the director at the time, claimed the walls were not painted well enough by the crew, therefore it had to come out of MY DEPOSIT that they needed to rectify this. WHAT A RIPOFF. Oh yeah, parking is a pain. Weidner is a huge corporation, all they want is your deposit and money. Don't live here unless you want a headache and your deposit taken away, despite the fact you maintained the place 100%.

The apartment it self is actually a pretty great apartment. It is spacious and we have an excellent patio. There is a pretty interesting mix of people in the building- we have been lucky to have great neighbors. The biggest problem we have experienced has been the management of the building. For a long time there was only one person in the office and that caused problems for residents trying to get whatever issues they need taken care of. Maintenance is generally pretty slow to respond.

Hello Valued Resident, Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. I am so glad to hear that you have great neighbors and are enjoying your patio! Take care, Kristie - Weidner Customer Service
If it weren't for the decent attention I've received from the management, this place might have gotten a slightly lower rating. The unit I am in is spacious for a 1 bedroom apartment with a good floor plan. I like that the washer/dryer unit is in the restroom rather than the kitchen, unlike some other complexes. The building is rather old (though they are supposedly sweeping through to renovate to match the brand new units they've just built). The management is helpful whenever I have questions and is always very pleasant to me. When I first moved in, my unit was infested with fleas. They addressed the issue right away and had an exterminator come in twice (because the issue was not resolved the first time) and made sure they cleared the place of anything that should not have been there. It was a hassle and took about a month to fix, but I appreciated their quick action to my requests. My issue and reasoning for not rating them higher, is because they insisted the previous tenant had no pets. They denied any possibility of the previous tenant owning any sort of animal, despite the flea infestation and the very obvious paw prints that were polished over in the kitchen under a counter. They claimed they had no idea how those got there. I have no pets, so it could only mean the previous tenant had snuck in a pet to avoid the monthly extra pet fee. If it weren't for their obvious attempts to deny any responsibility for that, I would have rated them another star higher. Any time I have maintenance requests, they address it right away and follow up with me to make sure all is in order. The only time they didn't quite do the job completely was when I first moved in and had 4 loose outlets and 1 non-working outlet. They tightened the outlets but never fixed the broken outlet. I have multiple extension cords so I never bothered to ask them to come back and fix it, as I saw it as an extra hassle. Overall, a decently safe neighborhood and experience. The people are usually nice and I have yet to have an issue with any neighbors or management.
I love these apartments. Friendly staff, great apartment. And now a new building with gym and pool... i mean who doesn't love a pool
