Property Ratings at Heritage Pointe Apartments
If I could I would leave absolutely no stars. Our hot water heater leaked in the closet. We still had copper pipes on it. Chesterfield County has been out to these apartments for years for violations. The news has been out there on several occasions. They constantly change hands. Theirs is always someone new working in the office. They constantly have gas leaks in the units. Infested with roaches and lizards, rats. They never clean the air ducts so if you have breathing problems DO NOT MOVE HERE. They always flood when it rains. When the apartments flood they never replace the carpet. Instead, they just give you a fan to dry the carpet. So your breathing in mildew and mold. All the units flood if it hasn't happened yet give it some time it will. The roofs leak. Roaches in your refrigerator. They will not replace your roach infested refrigerator. The drinking water is contaminated. Limited parking spaces. Maintenance doesn't fix anything plus their short staffed. Always has been a short-staffed way too many issues in each unit to catch up. The property cares more about outside of property then the units. The pool has rust stains and paints peeling. In the summertime, the lifeguard never cleans the pool because the property doesn't provide a net. So you swim in leaves, hair and whatever floating. Lifeguards are forever screwing people in broad daylight in the pool. When I told them they drained the pool and refilled it. They move anyone in so don't be surprised when you move beside someone who lives in a 2 bdrm but has a family of 7 in it with three cars. Mind you there are supposed to be two parking spots to one unit. Load, party hardy neighbors who play extremely loud music at all hours of the day and night. Then some nights the party goes outside and you got neighbors and there company standing on cars blasting extremely loud music. Fights in the street. People getting cut up or just brawling. Then you have drug bust constantly going on. Someone's house stays getting their door kicked down. Rent goes up and up each year. The people in the rental office work when they feel like it.
Maintenance is bad, office workers are rude! I moved into heritage pointe with a lot of broken things, I’ve put reports in about them to the office and no one ever came to assist me.... when I was ready to move because I couldn’t wait until my lease was up I paid for my lease to be up and I had 30 days to move as well I came home one day with the door broken in and my tv, Ipads, shoes, cooking pans and pots, and other belongings, my neighbors came to me and said the office lady and maintenance man took your belongings out of your house! Please be careful about where you move please don’t let these people get you guys how they got me!!!! Ps. It’s never visiter parking spots so if you have family members visiting they would have to park their car down a couple blocks or try to get one before they get packed
