The oldest city in Georgia, Savannah is located just across the Savannah River from South Carolina. Canopies of Live Oak trees draped in Spanish moss and restored historic buildings line cobblestone streets throughout Savannah. Built over Indian burial grounds and old cemeteries, Savannah has a haunted reputation consequently leading to frequent ghost tours.
Boasting a pedestrian-friendly layout, Savannah is a highly walkable city. There are plenty of things to do in Savannah, all within walking distance. Should you choose to rent in Savannah, you will have the chance to attend the world’s second largest Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, see the ornate Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist, shop the boutiques and national retailers along Broughton Street, marvel at the many art galleries run by Savannah College of Art and Design graduates, unwind at Forsyth Park, enjoy the Savannah Film Festival, and take a 30-minute drive to Tybee Island for easy beach access.

Property Ratings at Heron on the Bluffs by Trion Living
Renting here has just been problem after problem. Majority of communications are ignored, and the office is closed very frequently during business hours. I have not had a working fridge for more than 2 months. Staff continually says they are working on it, but there is no progress. I also didn’t have a working central AC for two months. That was only fixed after a multitude of requests from me across all possible platforms (emailing, calling, visiting in person, etc.). Keep in mind that if you rent here, you may be left without basic necessities while paying full rent regardless. Additionally, be prepared for other maintenance issues if you move in. Cabinets fell down, decorations from previous tenants were left up, etc. Choose any other apartment before this one.
Originally rented here with Pegasus owning the property. Pool pump was broken and chemicals all out of wack. Never paid their bills to any vendors so grass and trash started piling up everywhere. Dumpsters pouring out with garbage. Neighbor warned us of bed bugs on our first night in the apartment. We eventually started finding german/Asian roaches in the apartment. Made 9 workorders (1 including flooding in the apartment when it rains). Only 2 were completed out of the 9. Trion took over and bought it. Seemed to care. I had my ac go out (had to fix it myself), sink clog up when washer was draining, and my fridge popping the breaker (fixed myself). New maintenance fixed 1 issue. Claimed the call didn't come through but received a voicemail of it all. All in all, Trion barely did better. They did seem to care but still left a bad taste in my mouth. Could never get ahold of anyone in the office via phone call, only leasing. They care to get people in but not much on keeping them. Only person I liked was Neesha and I met her like 2 times.

We've been here 4 years and will be moving out in 2018. The Amenities were not available all of 2016. The pool and picnic area are open as of May 2017 but still no fitness room, Playground removed, tennis court removed, spa removed. They renovated one building because it was destroyed by fire. All of the others are old and maintemce is a joke. Extra fees for trash, pest control and insurance are $25/month. Find somewhere else, you will regret living here.
First, a lot of this information is outdated- not the property's fault, but it should be addressed. There is no longer a spa, laundromat, tennis court, or playground. The amenities that are offered by the current management aren't yet available nor have they been for the past year or so. The pool and gym are still under construction and probably will be FOREVER. I've never seen the outdoor kitchen used. There are no community events. Also, one of the buildings in the community has been under serious construction for at least a year- it's loud, inconvenient, and unpleasant to look at. I normally would be forgiving of these issues but it's taking unreasonably long for them to complete these projects, and management continues to jack up rent costs regardless of these issues. Can't wait to save enough money to leave.

I've visited my sister a few times and the area is very quiet and dog friendly. Plus the neighbors are nice and they look out for each other. The place is a bit outdated but very close to everything. It's worth it. Plus the managers are really nice and helpful
Been here for 4 years in this one bedroom apartment and my son Micheal will be 2 October 11, 2015. I'm paying $725 a month. The apartment is very out dated and needs renovation bad, you can here mice in the walls, huge roaches, the fitness center has only 3 workout machines which none of them work. The first month my apartment was infested with mold, and I think there still is mold just not as bad. My A/C goes out every year winter time at least one. I'm just ready to move my son and I out, oh and received a letter today stating that my rent will go up another $25 so I will be paying $750 for a very small one bedroom. The cost of living is so high here in Savannah. The emergency maintenance guy never comes when there is an emergency. The only reason I'm still here is because my landlord Lisa is so sweet and nice, I just love her but deep down I'm desperate to move. Someone please help, Michael and I will truly be grateful!!!!

The apartment complex is peaceful, but the pavement could use some work. The landlord is very reasonable and will work with you through tough times and with moving in. The pool is very clean and the apartment interiors are kept up as well.
