Property Ratings at Heron Pointe
4 years ago I had an amazing experience moving in building 8. I wanted to upgrade to a two bedroom and was directed to building 3. Things were a bit rushed as I scheduled to transfer but I trusted things would be in order due to me having little to no issues during my stay. The patio door seal was chewed (they replaced it after move in). The carpet really should have been changed ( I deep cleaned it myself) as you can tell there was a pet living in the unit prior. Approximately 3-4 months in, I noticed roach activity. I reached out and they called pest control to come spray. The technician literally came in moved the fridge and stove and lightly sprayed plus cracked jokes the 3 minutes he was there. I noticed more, they called, he sprayed. I noticed more, they called, he sprayed. I was told not to wash my clothes, cook any food or contribute to making the unit a Roach friendly environment by the leasing office. If I can't cook or wash clothes and live the normal life of any other rent-paying tenant, then why stay. Finally, I left and moved in with my mother. That was in March, it's September and I went to check on the place and sure enough they are still THERE ALIVE AND WELL!! My lease is up at the end of December. I have paid rent on time and out of 12 months lived there 3-4. The leasing office continues to be of no help as if spraying will solve a roach infestation. I've had to pay additional cost for clothing and other items as I do not want to transport my belongings to my Mom's for fear of transporting them there. Keep going, do not pursue Heron Pointe!!!

Living here has become unbearable, and it’s all because of the poor management. The complex manager is doing a terrible job at running this place. Since they took over, things have only gone downhill. There’s a complete lack of organization, communication, and respect for the residents. The manager doesn’t seem to care about the community at all. They’re unresponsive to concerns, and when they do get involved, it’s usually just to impose unnecessary fines or make life more difficult for tenants. The overall atmosphere in the complex has become tense and uncomfortable because of the way management handles things. This used to be a decent place to live, but under the current management, it’s been a disaster. I wouldn’t recommend anyone move here as long as the current manager is in charge.

Esteban made our transition moving into an apartment in Nashville so easy. I was a nervous wreck and he made sure everything was ready for our new apartment by the time I moved in. Normally wouldn't leave reviews but I had such a pleasant experience during a tour I had here. The complex is very nice and the area is great. The experience definitely will help in makkng my choice. I was shown around by Stephen and he was really nice, he answered all my questions and us very knowledgeable.

We have been here 2 years our dishwasher has never worked, maintenance is a joke you ask for something and they claim you can do it yourself. Our car has gotten broken into and recently our apartment was broken into. The office does not care we send emails after emails and nothing. All they have time to do is send out emails about stupid demands like the trash can and pool rules instead of fixing your apt

DO NOT RENT HERE! The management of this apartment complex..horrible. They do not care about anything, honestly. You have a maintenance request..forget about it. Maintenance crew has no idea what they are doing or how to fix anything. They drag their feet with the repairs. They will not call you back at all. They also cannot keep staff. Every time you turn around, there is a new face in the office and person you saw the last time you was there "no longer works there". The only nice thing about living at this complex is the lay out of the apartments. That is it. They just want your money, you sign a lease and after that they do not care about anything else. Don't waste your hard earned money renting here. Thin Walls, you can hear everything in the other apartments, the gate at the front entrance hardly ever works. They are constantly emailing the tenants about things they expect from us but they do not uphold their end AT ALL regarding anything. They expect the tenants to help keep the property looking nice on the outside but they do not care about the problems we have on the inside of our units. These apartments are not that old but they are raggedy. Rush job at building them. They are adding more units on the other side of the office and I am not sure how that is going to work when they do not have the staff to run the current buildings that they currently have now. Look elsewhere. This is not where you want to live. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

In 2 years they could not find and stop who is smoking, not just cigarettes, at the smoke-free building. We cannot use the spare bathroom and balcony because of the horrible smell. Terrible management

Been living in this community for over 1 year now. Two stars are for the layout of the apartments, they have the modern feel to it and room are bigger compared to apartment in nearby communities. Can’t go beyond 2 as the customer service is way below average. No one care about inconvenience of the tenants. They are quick to charge any fines if they find a case but are full of excuses when they are answerable for the maintenance and service they should be providing to tenants. Waiting for my lease to complete.

Management here is terrible. They do not care and IF you can get them to respond to your requests it will be with a generic answer such as “I’ll have to find a manager and get back to you” and you will likely never hear from anyone ever about your concern! The amenities they offer look so attractive on paper, but they are not what you might think! The pool is closed more than it is open and the people at the pool aren’t even all tenants! There is no reliable security, management, or maintenance. Save your money and move anywhere other than here! Oh, and if you have kids, forget about it! This is not where you want to raise your kids!

Worst leasing experience I’ve ever had. We went and looked/ fillled our applications on Herron Pointe October 29, and we were suppose to move in Dec 1st. Nobody ever sent us a lease. Nobody ever answered any of my emails. 95% of the time I tried calling the office nobody even answered. I was finally able to get ahold of Tasha Nov 20th who said she’d have our lease done by this last Monday and it never got sent. We spend $300 on application fees and an admission fee that we were told would be “waived” if we applied by that night, but we were charged anyways and said it would actually just be taken off our first months rent. We had to find a new place to rent from entirely and they still won’t return my phone calls. Don’t waste your time with this place. I left two messages for Tasha this last Friday and she still hasn’t called me back to explain why the lease isn’t done. If they can’t even follow through with a lease, I can’t imagine if something was broke in your apartment.
