It may not have the flashy reputation of San Francisco or Los Angeles, but Sacramento embodies the very best of what makes California so unique. The city is well known for preserving its history, from early settlements like Sutter’s Fort to the gorgeous 19th century architecture of Old Sacramento to the artifacts in the Sacramento History Museum. Pop culture and the fine arts are well-represented, with local stages hosting symphony concerts and rock shows and galleries displaying works by the old masters as well as modern upstarts. The local restaurant scene is famous for its heavy emphasis on “farm to fork” principles, making it one of the best places to find fresh, locally sourced food.
Those living in Sacramento love to take advantage of the mild climate, whether that means biking the River Trail, taking the kids to Fairytale Town, or heading over to Sutter Health Park to catch a River Cats baseball game.

Property Ratings at Hidden Creek
Overall a nice place to live. The landscaping is nice, and the view of the creek is great! Management and maintenance are friendly and always helpful and attentive.
Nice community atmosphere. Quiet clean gated community. Excellent Management team.As a long term resident here it just gets better every year. I really enjoy living here.
Manager is a straight nosy rat that doesn’t know the sense of privacy! It’s like everyone here is her slave!!! This isn’t a home it’s a camp! You live here you live by her rules forget a happy home! There is never any parking everyone here is quiet, weird, and report everything back to b*tch BEE! Your always being watched ??
I couldn't be happier with the experience of living at Hidden Creek Apartments! I have honestly never felt safer living in an apartment complex! Both the apartment manager and maintenance live onsite and they are both so professional, concerned about the well being of the residents and incredibly friendly. Patti is the apartment manager and she is one of the warmest and kindest people I've ever met. She ensures the property is safe, clean and always an inviting place to come home to! The same for Luis who is maintenance. If I call because I need something, I don't have to wait and he always does an amazing job the first time! I love the fact that there is a creek here because there is wildlife in the middle of Sacramento, as well as ample area for my children to run and play. We see deer sometimes and wild turkeys often. The apartments are huge, with a ton of storage. We have so much storage I haven't filled it all yet and that's saying something because we have A LOT of stuff! I love it here! So do my boys. It really feels like a special, welcoming community unto itself within Sacramento and that is due to the fact that management here cares so much!
I have lived in these apartments for a little over a year now and have loved every minute of it! I had actually gone in to apply to these apartments when I first moved up to Sac 3 years ago, but missed the opportunity since someone had applied for the same unit just 2 hours before me. I had loved the apartments so much, that when it came time to move...I knew exactly where I would be applying to. Patti had actually remembered me from the last time I toured the place almost a year later! The only reason I am moving out of these units is due to job relocation, otherwise I would be staying much much longer. Patti is absolutely amazing and the best community manager I have had the pleasure of meeting in my 5 years of apartment renting. She's also a great next door neighbor! Patti even went above and beyond in helping with my application/verification process with my new complex to ensure I was taken care of as I was transitioning to a new location. It is very clear that the Hidden Creek team takes great pride in their work at the complex...grounds are always clean and manicured, clean and spotless laundry rooms, maintenance requests are taken care of swiftly and with great care. Highly recommend these apartments to anyone and everyone!
Manger is a control freak always in your business and posting notices on your door about small stupid things. For example having plants on your porch, but on her porch she has a freaking garden. Parking is also the worst if you expect to park 2 cars or have a friend over you can forget about it. Just save yourself the hassle and don’t move here.
I've never had any serious issues here- I quite like it! First, Patti the manager is helpful. Second, the on site maintenance man, Luis, is always around to help with anything- usually issues are fixed within 24 hours. The gate is always working unlike other places. The dumpster is never overflowing and they replaced my stove as soon as there was a slight issue with it. The laundry rooms are convenient and nicely distributed. If you have tons of cars, like a family of three cars or more, that might be an issue for parking but otherwise you'll find something. I've been here I think four years now and it's been nice.
I lived here for about a year. This place gave me horrible depression. Everyone is very nosy, parking is HORRIBLE, the manager is rude, the “gym” is tiny, the washer and dryers make your clothes smell burnt. I could go on. The inside of the place is “alright” the kitchen is so closed off it’s almost claustrophobic. The bathroom is a nice size but the second bedroom is basically the size of a closet. There is plenty of storage space I will give them that.
