Westover is a large neighborhood about seven miles west of Downtown Fayetteville. The neighborhood is also located directly south of Fort Bragg, one of the nation's largest military bases, so it’s a great option for military employees and families. This suburban neighborhood has multiple schools, parks, restaurants, and shopping plazas. Westover is also home to Cross Creek Mall, the city’s largest mall. Similar to many areas in North Carolina, Westwood has a low cost of living and is known for its affordability. There are several apartments, houses, condos, and townhomes available for rent that will fit a variety of budgets. There are even some residences that have nice views of Westover’s lakes. Although Westover is laden with amenities, residents appreciate having access to Interstate 295, Route 401, and All-American Freeway to reach other locales.

This is a gated community but the gate is always broken and they keep it open most of the day. A bad spider problem and was told they can’t do anything about it. Was told when I first moved in that the gym was 24 hours, since I moved in the gym is only open during business hours. Maintenance half way fix any issues in the apartment. Pool is never open and its only open for three months out of the year. Never notify residence when they’re going to close the pool and I was paying an instructor to come teach so that was it’s inconvenient for me and my instructor. Put in a Complaint to the office and no one ever contacted me about it. The apartments are outdated. No real storage space in the apartments.

WHATEVER YOU DO DONT MOVE HERE!!!!!!! I have lived here for over a year and I have more complaints than I ever could have imagined. The first is the amount of mold. They paneled the shower walls and behind those panels are and entire wall covered in black mold. Maintenance takes their sweet time to fix anything. The office does not care at all about your needs or anything for that matter. They cut our water off with a 2 minute warning today and told me that it was expected to be off for a total of 10 hours. They told me my only option was to shower at a friends house. I had to call out of work because I had nowhere to take a shower (since all of my friends were at work in the middle of the day). Jamie from the office is the most rude individual I have ever had to speak to. On top of the demeanor of the office employees, all of the appliances in the units are completely outdated, all of the burners on our stove are not leveled, our dishwasher doesn't work, and roaches wander in our front door constantly from lord knows who/where. I have been absolutely miserable living here and I'm about to sublet or terminate my lease because of how terrible this place is.

Thank you for sharing your review. As we take pride in providing an excellent home for our residents, we would like to apologize if your experience was an unpleasant one. We truly care about each and every one of our residents and it is to our disappointment that you feel otherwise. The experience you described is one that we are unable to identify and we can assure you that it would certainly not be something that we would take lightly. In fact, due to the serious nature of mold-related issues, our Maintenance Supervisor has been certified in mold remediation. This means that he has been trained on proper treatment methods and detection of what is suspected to be mold from what may actually be. We would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you. As we are neither able to identify you as a resident of our community nor locate your contact information by the name used in your profile, would you please contact our office at your earliest convenience?

From day one, Cheyenne worked very diligently to help me find the apartment that I wanted. She was patient and friendly throughout the entire process. The leasing consultants at HC are definitely more helpful and genuine than any other leasing consultants that I’ve ever dealt with. Nicole was also helpful and nice to work with on my move-in day. I look forward to the next year with HC and these ladies!

This was my first time putting in a work order and they sent someone less than 2 hours to come fix my problem. Phil showed up enthusiastic and energetic and fixed not just 1 problem I had but multiple in a span of 45 minutes and did it with a smile on his face. He makes great conversation while doing his job and is very respectful and approachable. Greatest handyman I’ve ever met! Whenever I have a problem I want Phil no questions ask!

I’ve been living here for a year. It’s a nice apartment; but I feel like I overpay for a 1 bedroom and I’ve never had an issue with noise until now. They have.people cut grass EVERY Monday. So if you’re like me, love sleeping until it’s time for work, don’t live here. It’s like the people cutting grass are right next to me; quite irritating. Plus the gate never works.

The complex is close to shopping, restaurants, and city transportation. The management is great and very helpful. The area is clean and is a pet friendly community.
These apartments are located in a great area where everything is convenient. Traffic can be heavy leaving and coming in, but it's never really a problem. The apartments are nice and clean inside, as well as the outside perimeters of the building. Pet friendly with no monthly rent and just a one time deposit for all pets. Theres a lovely tennis court and cook area. Theres a gym, laundry room, and pool area for everyone. Staff are always current on whats going on in the complex and are friendly. It's a nice area with decent
Laundry room is a bit disappointing as is workout room. Wish the lighting in the apartments was better. But overall it is nice here. Likes and suggestions: Ladies in office are very friendly and nice. It's safe and gated. Very pet friendly community. Mostly quiet.
I love the sense of security that comes with a gated complex. The location is great (not too far from base, close to a few grocery stores and target), the staff is super nice, and there is so much that you can do without leaving the complex (laundry, gym, playground etc).
Maintenance is very slow and it takes weeks and plenty reminding to get a job done. The blinds and carpets were stained upon move in and the built in microwave didn't work, which took weeks to replace. Neighbors leave their trash outside and trash tends to pile up at the dumpster to the that it's over filled and stinks really bad. Overall not a good place to live in terms of safety because the gate let's 4 cars in at a time and reopens when it's closing. Likes and suggestions: The three bedroom kitchen island is nice.
I really like when I come home from a long day of work there's not a lot going on every one is respectful. The staff are very friendly and the price is just right
I like that apartments are pretty large and comfortable; I like to have my own laundry room, big kitchen and big bathroom (there are only 2 of us). I also like that there is a lot of parking available and the tennis courts.
My husband and I have been here since January 2013 and resigned our lease. Overall, I love it here.
The only thing I like is the staff particular Melanie and Rachel they both are very professional, helpful and customer friendly.
Cost/Value. Can't complain about the cost. Also less than 20 mins to work at 82 Division HQ. Not bad.
The space is very big and the price is very low. Most places I have visited in the area are small in size and very expensive. We're getting all the same amenities I.e secuirty gate, pool, weight room, that other communities offer for a much lower price. The staff is great. They are kind and know exactly who my family is. They always address me by name when seeing me around the community to say hello. Very nice.
I would live there again and would recommend to a friend. Likes and suggestions: Management was always courteous
I would like more strength training workout equipment. The amenities are great with the one exception of the gym. I can't effectively get a good workout aside from cardio.
Its close to all shopping areas in Fayetteville and close to Fort Bragg. It is a secure, quite and friendly community.
I like this community because it is close to everything I need. The Post Office, shopping, banks, recreation, restaurants, etc..
I love the weight limit for the dogs and the fact that dogs are allowed. I think the breed restriction is ridiculous especially since renters insurance is required to move in anyway. I like the price, amount of space and windows. The pool could be cleaner and it's very small. The trash compactor is broken often, the recycling could be handled better. Dedicated bins would be great. It annoys me that other people w dogs don't clean up after them. Investment in a once a month clean up would be nice for those irresponsible owners. I realize this may deter them further from cleaning up but don't announce it, then. I clean up after other people's dogs because I don't want my dogs getting sick and I don't want to step in it. Also, walkways behind the buildings would be nice. My apartment is located in the back on the buildings so I park on the side. Also, to avoid being hit since the front parking is curved and causes blind spots. But I walk through the grass daily. That would be nice.
I got lucky and had wonderful family-like neighbors. We would all sit outside on the steps every afternoon and just talk and let the kids play while the sun set... it was very nice to have a family away from home. However, the staff did not like us socializing in public and threatened us with eviction notices for talking and sitting outside after dark... I won't live there again but Im still close to my friends. Likes and suggestions: I like the location and how clean the apartments are. My suggestion is if these soldiers and their families make friends and want to socialize in front of their building then,as long as they are not being harmful to anyone or destructive, Leave them alone! the last thing they need is an eviction notice for socializing with new friends.
I liked the gate (when it worked) which was not all the time.
Walls are kind of thin, if your neighbors are screaming or yelling you can hear them. People speed through the parking lot and you find little kids outside unsupervised. No enough parking either
Its a great location, easy access to post and to all the different shopping and restaurants off of Skibo. Its quiet for the most part just depending on the building you are in.Good amount of space for the cost.
Maintenance requests were not fulfilled in either a timely manner if at all. Upon moving out we were still waiting for repairs to be completed. And the maintenance staff had bad attitudes after we complained to the interim manager. I believe my exact comments were repeated to the men by the interim manager, though she claimed she didn't without being accused.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I absolutely love the staff; not only are they always helpful, but they also have wonderful personalities. I never dread having to go up to the office for anything.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: peace full
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Hidden creek is the best place I've been to. The maintenance and office staff are awesome. Any thing you need they are one it.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Staff is great and easy to talk to. Rachael is awesome and takes great interest satisfying the tenants.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Gate controls not regulated. Parking is a nightmare after 5pm. Walls are a little thin, could hear the people above us snoring at night. More than one maintenance man would help keep up with repairs. Took 6 months and several requests to get our disposal fixed.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I love the staff, gym, laundry area, tennis courts , pool, and everything else about my neighborhood :)
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Didn't like that the gate was broken a lot of the time.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like the staff, especially this one that goes by the name Rachel. Since day one, she has gone above and beyond to ensure I felt secure living here at Hidden Creek. Give that woman a raise now.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like that it's affordable and quiet. I dislike that the gym is so small and the pool could be taken care of better.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Maintenance, been waiting since May 2013 to get our toliet repaired, our dishwasher repaired which has now quit drying top dishes as well. And door weather stripping to be replaced....all since May. Also, after complaining to interim manager about one techs response to food particles left on dishes he would never respond to our waves or saying hello. (He told us it was our responsibility to open dishwasher half way thru wash cycle and wipe off top of glasses.) I have recently emailed direct to manager because the system would no longer allow me to place a work order via computer, that our kitchen lights weren't working. I wrote that and sent it this past Sunday evening and haven't seen maintenance yet!! I also added a reminder about toliet. We are moving but where we once recommended the complex we no longer do.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: Very spacious apartments for a great value! Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Devon and Carlos are always on top of work orders and makes sure everything is taken care of.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: ok here we go,i really like these apartments the people are very friendly, both residents and staff..the maintenance are always ontime and if they cant get to you at a specific time they let you know...big or small problems..the location to fort bragg and every other business including malls, restarunts.and gas stations are very conveinent...never have any issues with parking ..as for safety i walk in and out my apartment anytime of night and day with no concerns..with that said i would recommend this apartment complex to anyone
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The customer service is excellent, Miss. Melanie was very helpfull on any situation or prolbem that I had with my apartment.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: The staff is fantastic and neighbors are great.
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I like the location, it's close to everything but not right in the middle of all the crazy traffic and near bad neighborhoods!!
My likes and dislikes about this community are: We have been living here since February 2013, and love it. I feel safe if my husband has to work over night and the office staff ( Mealnie and Rachel) are beyond nice and helpful.
I was shopping around and I just wanted to let you all know that I received great customer service from Sherry. She is the best, she made me feel like I was already home. Likes and suggestions: Nothing sticks out but a basketball court would be cool! Or running trails!
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I feel good leaving my wife and children home when i go away for training. all of the service team is very nice
My likes and dislikes about this community are: I love living here it's extremely quiet and safe! The staff is amazing Melanie and Rachael are extremely helpful and loving people. They will go the extra mile to make sure residents are satisfied and happy
