Luxury living on the waterfront is a particularly alluring description, and that’s exactly what University Place offers. Though affluent housing on the Puget Sound is an obvious perk, this small city also offers a variety of apartments that range from affordable to upscale, so there’s something for everyone.
About six miles west of Tacoma, the charming town of University Place is situated between the state capital of Olympia and Washington’s largest city, Seattle. With scenic views of the Olympic Mountains, Mount Rainier, and the Puget Sound, residents of this city don’t want for much when it comes to beautiful views.
Chambers Bay Golf Course takes up a large portion of the city’s coast and is well-known for its perfectly landscaped green, picturesque views, and popular PGA events. On the same natural area lies Chambers Creek Regional Park that shares the course’s scenic views, boasting miles of walking trails, lush lawns, and a dog park.

Property Ratings at Hidden Hills Apartments
I have lived here for over fifteen years and I feel this is a wonderful place to live. Most of the staff have been here for years and they do a wonderful job of maintaining this property. The location and grounds are perfect.
the management is absolutely terrible, very high crime, broken into multiple times, the matience doesn't come fix anything and if they do they don't fix the problem. do not move here!
My husband, two kids, and myself have lived here for 3 years. We loved it when we moved in and for about the first year. Then there was some management changes and things started getting pretty ridiculous. Suddenly bizarre rules started popping up like no sidewalk chalk on the premesis and no drinking water by the pool side even for little kids. Meanwhile people are smoking in no smoking zones and taking up the parking lots with their 4 cars. We are not happy here anymore, but the rent is the cheapest around the area for the size, and we can't move out just yet.
The location as far as how it looks is great. The surroundings are great but honestly the people who live here are as antisocial as possible. I have lived here two months and not one person has talked to me unless I talked to them first. I'll go to the mailbox and see someone walking by and say "hi", even then most just keep walking like you said nothing. Tonight was Halloween and I did not see on trick or treater. My 8 year old son went out with his mother and hardly no one was giving out candy. He got less candy going through this whole development than the bag the rental office gave him or the one his teacher gave him at school. Like ten pieces of candy. If you are anti social and just want four walls and roof this place is great. Honestly it has cheap appliances but they are in fair working condition. Dishwasher doesn't work great but that is because it is a low priced model and the refrigeraor is loud, I can here it from my bed with the door closed, but it works and everything looks good. It isn't the Ritz but it isn't a whole in the wall, but I was looking for more of a community feel. This place has everything for that to happen except the quality of the people who live here.
