Despite being incorporated only two years ago, South Fulton has already developed a character all its own. Situated partly along the southern section of the Perimeter and stretching southwest over Chattahoochee Hills, South Fulton covers a large portion of residential and undeveloped land. This sprawling area is made up of a number of characterful neighborhoods, all offering access to ATL at a more affordable price.
South Fulton’s entire western border is formed by the Chattahoochee, making it a perfect place for the outdoor-inclined to settle. There’s also plenty of parks and shopping centers to keep residents entertained. Hartsfield-Jackson airport sits on the eastern edge of South Fulton, so if you travel for work but want more space than the city would provide, look no further.

Property Ratings at The Laurel
There’s trash everywhere in the hallways and the streets. There’s mold in our air vents. The appliances are old and outdated. There’s cats and dogs roaming free all the time. Packages get stolen and we can’t even get leasing to check the cameras. I promise it’s not worth moving here.

Management terrible they do not answer calls or service calls we have mold pest and poor placement of neighbors the tenants treat the complex like their own personal racetrack it’s not safe DO NOT MOVE HERE
Literally hate that I moved here. Been here since March 2022 and I’ve already had an terrible experience here. 1st my apartment has a big spider infestation that I have put in 2 pest control requests for and still no one has shown up. 2nd my ceiling was leaking and producing mode for an entire month before someone even came to see about it literally went to them several times and all I received was lies saying that they would come I missed work several days because of this even gave them the only key they gave me to get in and they lost it so I had to give them my spare key.mind you I have a small child and repeatedly expressed how the mold could become very dangerous for the both of us. Oh yeah the apartments randomly flooded with no warning got home to my entire living room flooded and the rent office did nothing. Had to walk in water for 2 days until it dried. Now they left a hole in my ceiling where the mold was and just covered it with trash bags like wtf this crap is so unsafe especially for a small child. On top of all this they never answer the phone. This place is terrible and definitely not worth the money not even with the half done renovations they did to my apartment before I moved in. 100% I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE PLEASE TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE and save yourself the HEADACHE!!!!!
I wish I could show images, but before my family and I moved in months ago, we believed the reviews were exaggerated. We were moved into an unfinished apartment, with outlets, mirrors, and even our master bathtub spray-painted over, with light fixtures not turning off. It took us to legally threaten management to come and fix the sun-room light, and on day one we were greeted with roaches. Granted, since this is an apartment, you have to share space with others, so if they started the problem, it's also your problem, not management's fault, what they charge you is a pest control fee that you must request and they have only showed up once out of my entire time living here (I have requested them regularly every two months). Getting back to the unfinished apartment, almost every drawer in the apartment is improperly secured, and we are missing a drawer altogether TO THIS DAY, and when running the water in the kitchen sink, an audible leak can be heard in the walls. The bathroom sink isn't ecen connected to the counter they tried to super-glue together. The prices they show you are BASE rent and DO NOT include the utilities they speak about. The cable (which they force you to pay as a part of the rent), along with trash, water (and check this out) waste water, are all tacked on as separate bills, but still as your rent (water is the only bill not fixed so that's understandable I guess), so you WILL be paying more than what is being promoted. I have yet to have the leaks on ALL OF MY SINKS to be properly fixed and I have sent out constant requests for maintenance since January. Management WILL smile in your face and tell you they will help out, and let you know when maintenance should show up, so if you aren't there then it's your fault, yet I have stayed home for EVERY "scheduled" visit and I have only gotten four total visits (not saying that the visits ever fixed the issue). If you still plan on trying to make a home here, you have been warned, but good luck to you and your family to possibly not have the experiences most of us have here. Oh, one last thing, even after everything I listed, if you're a day late on paying, that fee is on you regardless of what has yet to be fixed, updated, or removed from your home. Hidden Lake Apartments everyone.
There is a lot of shooting, police are out there everyday, maintenance is poor, black mold that is painted over, roach and ants infestation, yesterday my mother was without water for majority of the day and there is no 24 hour maintenance. I went to check on her and wouldn’t you know the entire complex was without water. WITH NO PRIOR NOTIFICATION. Management doesn’t even come out to check out why the police are being called. Pool was closed the entire summer, Gym is closed off. And the pictures are not what the apartments look like. Completely overpriced for the way people are living and the crimes that take place. This apartment complex will get reported to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Health Department.

Due to the nature of your concerns, we think it would be best if we spoke with you directly. Please stop by our office at your earliest convenience so we can discuss these claims. We look forward to speaking with you soon.
Run as fast as you can. Management doesn’t care about these apartments. I have ants all over my apartment & they will not send pest control out. They’re always late opening the office. Nothing but liars work in the office. Don’t call cause you want get in answer. Maintenance people have attitudes. A lot of shooting goes on there. Not worth for what they’re asking for! Let this be your warning!!!

Just moved in, the property is beautiful and well maintained. The office and maintenance staff are awesome. Love Jennifer and Torrance!

Welcome home, and thank you for choosing Hidden Lake! We appreciate the 5-star rating and compliments to our hard-working team. Let us know if you need us!
Great apartment! Comfortable and no disturbances. My husband and I stay for almost four years and we didn’t have many complaints. Those issues that we did have were handled promptly! The only quarrel I have is that the windows don’t open. Shone is a gem and deserves a raise! Thank you Shone for your excellence as property manager.
They have new management and let me just say she has made a big difference In how things are being done in a timely manner the complex is looking 100% better it shows that having a good (management team) makes your stay more at home and they are professionals and friendly also they make you feel at home when you have to deal with them come check them out.
The apartment is not bad but the residents make it bad. Car break in and there is security onsite not doing nothing but sitting in one spot. Management isn’t doing anything about the loud noise complaints or car break in and not enough cameras or security forces
Terrible office staff. We made an appointment to view a 1BR unit about a week ago, only to get there and be told it had been rented per first come first serve, no other 1BR was available at the moment, and that the woman I spoke to and made the appointment with was on vacation. Now why would she schedule us an appointment a week later if it was first come first serve? Why didn't she bother to inform us she wouldn't be there at our scheduled appointment, or inform the other women there that we actually had an appointment and/or give us a closer appointment? There was no courtesy call to let us know that the unit was no longer available, and they didn't seem to care that they had seriously erred. It was like, "Oh well, here's a brochure for our 2-3 bedrooms, blah blah." Their lack of communication and business sense wasted our time and money in getting there. Not to mention the big yellow sign in the front of the property prompting for information leading to some arrest, or the shabby looking fitness center/laundry room, or the dirty pool, or the current tenant complaining in the office. All being said, I wouldn't bother with this place unless it was a last, last, last, lasssst resort.
I'm a tenant . Before I moved in, Managerment didn't mention there a long wait to fix anything in the apartment. My kitchen light went out .It''s one of those big lights. It been two weeks and I have to cook in the dark.Managerment said their 56 tenant in head of me. Have they mention this. I wouldn't move in.
I have been a resident at hidden lakes for years, within 2 years or so we have changed owners and new management. I am highly disappointed in the the new management. Ever time I walk Into the leasing office we have a new manger or leasing agent. If there is a maintaince problem it now takes weeks or a month to repair it..Trash can be seen in hallways and on the grounds..Loud music, drug smoking in hallway.. I have complained several times and it seems no reinforcement from management is taken. I am currently looking for a nicer and quite place to live where I feel safe and valued as a resident.I would not reccomend hidden lakes to a family member or friend.

Overall, the apartments are fairly decent. The roads are "covered" with pot holes, there is not adequate lighting at night, and the walls are
I moved to this Apartment complex nine years ago. There has been lots of changes since 2006 all for the better. Management show great concern for their tenants. When a work order is requested it's done within 24 hours. Weekly landscape, nice pool for the summer, First of the month rent is due after the 5th there is a late fee. For nine years I have never been late paying my rent nor any return checks. I am a senior citizen, to have my rent paid for a year will be a great help and blessing. Thank you for considering me as your next winner.
I have lived here for going on two years because this is what I can afford. However, I was fooled coming here the amenities they advertise are not factual equipment in the weight room doesn't work, the gate access to the tennis court hasn't been repaired since I been her neither has the up keep , and the laundry room is a complete disarray so many insects flood the facility forcing you to have to go to the laundry mat. The appliances here are outdated and they put band aids over cancer. I wish i could move.
When I first moved here it was very unpleasant. My apartment wasn't ready and I had to stay in a hotel and rent storage. This all happened on my birthday. Once I finally moved in the manager and her staff have made up for my uneasiness. I love my apartment and this community. It all worked out for the best I couldn't be happier.
