Property Ratings at Hidden Lake Apartments
The office staff and very friendly and detailed when I toured— but the property itself is really lacking maintenance and upkeep, whoever the owners are need to put more budget into it. It’s by the lake but the lake is private so you can’t access it. Parking is relatively cheap, $10 a month. The renovated interiors are nice but AC is loud. The exterior is very run down and unattractive. For the price they ask for a renovated unit, I would just go live downtown. Their move-in specials and low income options are VERY good though!

If you're looking for cheap and in a hurry, this is the place for you. Management is not horrible but they don't seem to really care about your stay here or the cleanliness of the complex. The neighbors aren't very clean and tend to play music very loudly into the night. There is a roach problem that I was not told about upon my moving in as well.
Porqué tengo la escuela de mis hijos al lado, es un lugar qué está cerca de mi trabajo y nadie se mete con migo, es un lugar seguro para vivir!!
Building maintenance itself is very poor even if ground maintenance and it's surroundings is acceptable. Maintenance staff is prompt and communicates well; office staff service is very poor and bad at communications.
Rent seems high for what it is, parking can be a pain at times, neighbors can be noisy. Other than that its chill and I dont mind it.
I really love my apartment and I think management is nice sometimes. However sometimes when I call or try to connect with someone they become instantly defensive or talk over me, even if I’m being super nice. 90% of the time I love it, but it’s brutal when all my neighbors are way more problematic (swat team outside my door, getting everything stolen out of my car, people getting thrown out windows, chain smoking in apartments). I just simply have issues every once in awhile, but pay rent on time. Wish I could be felt heard instead of crazy.
I really enjoy my neighbors and how peaceful it is around here and I think the grounds are well taking care of
Great place to live. Fair prices, friendly people and great service.
I would not recommend this apartment complex. I tell people already I regret moving in seeing how little disregard the office has for the tenants. How much damage is done to the apartment when you move in. How disturbing the neighbors are and you’re on your own. They do not care.
A good place overall and they do work with you and they get back to you at a reasonable time
living at hidden lake has been a good experience for me. The staff do very well with communication and management helps you with any issues you might have in a timely manner. I am happy and comfortable in my apartment and will probably be here for awhile.
No disfruto viviendo acá en hidden lake por los problemas que se presentan constantemente por inundaciones en el apartamento , desbordamientos de agua sucias por el lava platos y bañera, es desagradable ver desechos de basura por todo el apartamento y mal olores.
First, be careful about water, in general. Hot water runs boiling if it decides to be hot at all, the hot water heaters deciding to work when they want to, and maintenance people coming in regularly to reveal that the last one did poor work, which resulted in something breaking or flooding. Second, know that the elevators decide when and when they don't work. They could have had a repairman out the day before, but that doesn't mean it won't stop working tomorrow. Third, the change in management is one to be wary of. Lived here for a year and there was an obvious shift, one that included installing industrial lights throughout all the buildings which never turn off and leave the entire complex looking like a prison yard. They ran through with little upgrades that progressed to 'fines without warnings' signs on the door. Additional to the change in management, know that there is no arguing no matter how pushy people are. There is no communication with these people where they don't try to levy power, and it's immediately taken personal when you push back on it. The shift in management was obvious because of how immediately obvious it became that money is being thrown at meaningless upgrades because they're looking to increase the rent and turn a profit, all while we get surprised with having no water or power on random days throughout the month. Whatever professionalism this company had, they lost.
I love living at Hidden Lakes. The buildings and equipment are old and with that comes inconsistent hot water, broken elevators, and sometimes broken laundry machines. other than that I have no complaints. Great staff and great residents!
Hidden lake is a decent place to live. I do wish I could give an amazing review but one of the biggest problems I would have to say is the laundry situation. I’m grateful for the apartment but I also didn’t understand the cam fees on the utility bill, seems like something’s here and there are a bit off.
Ladies from the office are the WORST to deal with. They close the office whenever they feel like it, and I know this because i called the main office in CO Springs and they didn’t even know they were closed! And on top of that they make moving out a nightmare. We were ready to leave and of course, the office was closed (it wasn’t even 2pm). I would recommend people steer clear of this place if you don’t want to deal with that.
I’ve lived here approximately four years and I really like it here. It’s a nice community. I’ve never had any problems with vandalism or any issues like that. Whenever I have a problem with my unit. The maintenance group is very punctual, very professional, and they fix my problem I have one concern. I wish we had recycling facilities here I threw away a lot of drinking water bottles. That’s all I have. Thank you so much merry Christmas.????
I have chosen hidden lake apartments now for 2 yrs. and loved it since we moved in the neighbors and view is amazing, we face the lake and new apartments by front office the place is always clean and if ever there is an issue they handle it without any delay, they even have a pool which is awesome to hang out by in the summer and the rtd lightrail is just a stone throw away walking distance from food and entertainment
Tengo más de 5 años viviendo en hidden lake apartaments y nunca e tenido ningún problema una administración q siempre se preocupa x los residentes
Apartments are small but nice but are getting old and require a lot of maintenance and upkeep. It seems like there are always problems with the soda machines not working or getting broken into. The same can be said about the laundry rooms. I don't like the new lights because they're too bright and the one by my apartment comes on at like 2:00 in the afternoon. There's a lot of crime here. Since moving here, my storage unit was broken into and my golf clubs stolen out of it, my car was broken into and some coats and jackets were stolen out of it, and one of the wheels was stolen off of my car one night.
Complex is in an excellent location. Central to everything in Westminster. Nice lake across the street. While the apartment complex is one of the older ones in the area, it is reasonably kept up. Rental cost is reasonable considering the area.
Complex is kept clean. Maintenance is always ready to help.
Do not rent here. All they care about is if the rent check is on time and in the correct amount.
Maintenance is always on top of whatever situation arises and gets work completed in a timely manner
Absolutely worst apartment I have EVER lived in. Bugs everywhere, leaks, packages getting stolen, not a safe place to live. I cannot believe that they are allowed to keep functioning. I don’t even know if it’s actually safe to stay here long term. There is little to no help at the front office. Everyone is rude and treats you like you’re stupid. DO NOT LIVE HERE
The leasing office staff has always been kind, courteous, and efficient. Maintenance responds very quickly depending on the emergency or request. Our experience has been exceptional. Thank you to everyone!
The staff and location are great, but the buildings are a bit run down and need some attention
Es un lugar muy tranquilo y pasifico los de mantenimiento son muy amables y igual en la oficina
I'm so satisfied with the humble service of all of The Hidden Lake Staff. Though Im fairly new as a resident here, I'm now approaching my 4th month here, and I have only two thumbs up. My home is my sanitary, every time a have a question, or in need of property assistance I haven't been let down, and I have no complaints but good feedback towards The Hidden Lake Apartments Staff. Thank you all, and God bless you so much.
I've lived here for about 6 years now and people always drink in the parking lot making the environment a bit unsafe for everyone, there's a lot of aggressive drivers too and a lot of drug dealing, people peeing on the parking lots and the elevators, people always leaving stolen cars in the parking lot that you can see later on Facebook, the elevator is broken many times... I mean it's a very filthy place and not safe at all.
This is the worse place to live. Cockroaches IN EVERY APARTMENT, dirty laundry rooms. Shootings in the parking lot, a place for homeless people to sit and relax while passing through. Rude staff.
Water temps are spotty at best. Maintenance is hit or miss. They charge a “beautification fee” but have only painted parking spots. There is minimal community outreach/involvement. Apartments are at least relatively cheap, but rent has gone up every new lease. Staff is at least moderately professional and usually helpful.
I am truly grateful for the Hidden Lake apartments. This community has enabled me to improve my living conditions due to the initial move-in costs. I would recommend this community to young families starting out to be a stepping stone to improve their living conditions or middle aged adults facing a major life change.
Management doesn't do anything! Terrible terrible place to live. This is why I am leaving and doing my best to keep people away from this place. People deserve better.
I'm completely satisfied as a resident of Hidden Lake Apartments.
If you like living in a community oriented place then this is the place for you.
No vengan a este lugar La gente de la oficina son super rudos y antiprofesionales
I moved in back in July of 2021 and I have nothing but good things to say. I like how nice everyone is in the office and I never have any troubles with them. Everyone is so helpful when I go in to pay for my rent every month
They aren’t accurate in their room descriptions. They rooms are falling apart and broken down. They don’t explain how the parking “reserved” spots work and got my fiancé’s car towed even thought he had a parking permit.
the people that live here are really friendly and the staff help us as much as they can which is appreciated!
Wouldn’t recommend this complex to anyone ever. Tons of issues and I haven’t even lived here for a full month.
The unit I am staying in is very quite and peaceful, I have good neighbors
I been living here at HLA for about 5 years and I never had a problem but they are people that move in and causes problems for residents and management just like you would have at any other apartment. But I love it here great management and excellent maintenance. Affordable living I would recommend hidden lake apartments for families and single living.
Wonderful and helpful staff, genuinely welcoming environment and a surprisingly spacious apartment for a very affordable rate. Definitely recommend!
Neighbors are generally loud and inconsiderate. My catalytic converter was sawed off in the parking lot. Toilet overflows consistently. Shower run freezing to boiling and back to freezing.
