Biloxi’s long history as a Gulf Coast resort community has earned it the nickname “The Playground of the South,” and you’ll find that that nickname is still quite accurate. In addition to the sugar-white beaches, the local gaming industry attracts folks from all across the South, and locals get to take advantage of the stellar entertainment lineups at the numerous casinos in town.
Seafood lovers will be in heaven, as the local shrimping and fishing industries deliver fresh catches daily to dozens of Biloxi restaurants. The city offers direct access to beautiful white sand beaches, and it’s not hard to find surprisingly affordable condos overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. As home to Keesler Air Force Base, Biloxi supports a large population of armed service personnel and civilian military employees, and it’s quite common to spot C-130 variants in the air from time to time.

Property Ratings at Hidden Oaks Apartments
Be warned! Most disrespectful management team on the coast! Same rental office with workers apparently not on the same page, each individual with their own views and ways of doing stuff. Stayed at this apartment for over three years, after miss june left new management took over, they kept raising the rent very often ,my apartment on the first floor got flooded due a hot water heater got busted from the third floor which messed up all my stuff on the bottom floor and management did nothing about it instead they asked me if i had renters insurance..upon leaving the complex after my lease ended they. Charged me 228.00 which is now on my credit claiming that i left a satellite dish POLE planted there and the funniest thing is ,that POLE was there when i moved into that apartment! Please be warned! Of their hidden fine print on their lease before you sign your life away for an over priced apartment to live without any upgrades or amenities,NOTHING being done to the buildings or dirty hallways ,trash every where you look with the overflowing stinky dumpsters or the pond they have that smells horribly..roaches running around , you have to request pest control ever so often..after ms.june left that place wasn't home any more ..treat y'all tenants RIGHT! When you go to the office its like your a bother to them..but remember with out loyal tenants y'all won't have a job right? My worst experience by far..
Alll I have are good things to say about this apartment complex. We moved from Oklahoma while my husband was in school at Keesler AFB. We onbviously couldnt tour the complex and had to rely on the online photos which do it justice. It's a beautiful area! We moved last minute and they were more than accommodating. They made us feel like family since the first phone conversation I had with Cindy. They are so welcoming which made it easier for my son and I to move away from what we knew. Ms. Patty, who works in the office, is one of the nicest people I know. They have laundry on site, a playground and a pool. Can it get better than that? The maintenance crew is promt and extremely helpful. Now on to the living quarters. Clean and roomy. The closets are walk-in, we have ceiling fans and more than enough room for our belongings. I highly recommend this apartment complex. You will not be disappointed.
I begain living here at Hidden Oaks after hurricane Katrina, the apartment was not really ready for rental, but the friendly property manager June made it available to me. U see, the townhouse I was living in was destroyed. I experienced the horror while living in my townhouse in Gulfport, instead of leaving as was instructed. I am an RN at the VA here in Biloxi, did not think it would be as horrible as it was...I could have gone to higher ground but when I drove down highway 90 along the beach, the water was so calm and the day was so beautiful I decided to wait it out in the townhouse rental I was in, the Racquet Club Apartments in Gulfport, MS. The downstairs started to fill with the filthy rail water, I tried to save as much as I could by bringing items upstairs where the bedrooms were located but after the water came up to my waist had to go upstairs and ride it out. It was the most horrible thing I had ever been through. After it was over, my apartment was destroyed, my little sports car was destroyed. It took over 2 days before a friend drove by my apartment and asked did I want to go to the VA in Biloxi, where we both worked of course I was so blessed that she came by, because the complex looked as if no one could still be there. After all that, there were it seemed, no apartments available, but the manager June let me stay in an apartment here at Hidden Oaks on the third floor that had not much damage. The staff here are great! When I needed a place they were here for me. I have been here every since, they worked around me making repairs on my new apartment while I was living here. The staff have helped me and come when there were things that needed repair with a friendly smile. But I have injured my knee at work and surgery needed, therefore I have to move to a first floor apartment, but the turn over here is slow and first floor apartments are not that readily available so I must find a new place to live but I dread the move. I like my view of the trees on my balcony, and because of the friendly staff I am finding it very hard to leave. Hidden Oaks apartments are a great place to live, it's quiet and very peaceful. I know this is due to the great staff and management.
Yes, this place is a lot better than many describe it. The living room has the cutest fireplace and the view when it rains is really nice from the 3rd floor. We had problems with bugs and ants in base housing but I haven't seen anything here and I've been at this appartment for 4 months now. It's really close to the elementary and walking distance from the best po'boys in town. The rooms are really spacious, each closet is a walkin closet. The master bedroom has two! The door in the bathroom opens away from the sink so it doesnt get in the way when you are doing your morning or night time routine. You can just leave it open w/o it getting in the way. Its a small fact but it matters to me. I also never hear my neighbors. Many of us have dogs and kids and I still hear nothing. The maintenance crew is really nice and helpful. They work fast! The girls at the front desk are super nice and friendly and the pool is always clean. Nothing really to complain about.
