We moved here sight unseen over a year ago. The main reason for choosing Hidden River is how dog friendly the community is. The small dog park is convenient for when we don't have the time to get to the larger dog parks nearby. The bedrooms are on the smaller side and parking is tight; it's not always easy for visiting family and friends to find a spot to park. However, it is really a very lovely spot. Trees surround the property throughout and we have been lucky to have great neighbors. I love the kitchen. There is plenty of cabinet space! We definitely went through a bumpy transition as Thrive looked for a new property manager, but now that Cherie is here, we are so relieved. She is warm, friendly and on top of things. She is committed to making sure residents are happy and improving the quality of life here. Brady and Ernesto are wonderful, too!

I have lived in many apartment complexes and this is the best out of all of them. The property is quiet and we'll maintained. the townhomes are absolutely beautiful and the staff is so friendly and helpful, definitely easy to work with.

We looked at every single apartment on the Eastside....well, certainly dozens of apartments and this one is beautiful inside (very modern- love the kitchen) and surrounded by woods. When I had a maintenance concern (a small thing with the fridge) it was fixed within an hour! Cherie, the manager, is warm and friendly. Really Lovely gem. ~Ellie

We have been living at Hidden River for 18 months. We have loved our time here. The management and the manitenance crew are great! The grounds are kept clean, and they stick to the no smoking rules they have for the property. They allow pets and have provided a great dog run for the dogs who live here. They also have a great little playround for the kids, not to mention the pool that is open from Memorial day until the end of Septemeber. That has been my favorite thing about living here!

Lived here for 1 year, before rent pushed me out. Generally few complaints living there. Be aware they will take 300$ of your security deposit on move out, even leaving the place spotless. I cleaned the house for 2 days (literally), mopped, scrub, vaccuum, bleach, even bought spackle to fill in tack holes. We payed 120 dollars to steam the carpet. Their carpet cleaners told me no additional cleaning was needed. They did a walk through said it was pretty much spot less. They still took over half my security deposit for cleaning and carpets after the fact. They did not give me any opportunity to address this, nor did they tell me they were going to do this, even after I explicitly asked. For this reason I will not recommend them to anyone. Left a super sour taste in my mouth. I will say maintenance staff was awesome.

Just moved in about two weeks ago. They are going to start doing renovations on our unit in about a week (we knew this before we started). The rent cost is wonderful for the value you get, pool and fitness center. Only problem currently is parking, some nights it's nearly impossible to park 9(although you do get one carport spot). The unit is well cared for, and it's never loud at night. A nice retreat in busy Kirkland.

I've lived in many places, including a monthly motel in CA and this is by far the worst place I've lived. Every thermostat was broken, every drain upstairs clogged, doors falling off hinges, every screen torn, floors are soft and feel like there are holes under the carpet and linoleum, most appliances don't work properly, windows and doors are drafty, parking is absolutely horrendous,down the street from the hospital so there are always the sound of sirens, and the whole community abuts 2 majorly traveled roads so it is always noisy and difficult to access. If I could do it again, I'd never live here and would recommend everyone stay away from this place if you want to be happy with your living situation. Update: We just moved out in April. Moving 2 months before our lease was up because of how awful it was. When we moved in we were charged for a SureDeposit that was supposed to cover our final costs. At some point, they decided to stop doing business with SureDeposit without notifying us or amending our lease. After moving out, they told us not only was the amount we already paid for SureDeposit gone but we now had to pay our own final costs. In other words, we had to pay twice. In my 22 years of renting, this place is the ONLY one to ever charge me upon move out and our apartment was so immaculate, they rented it out days after they got their keys back. Worst place ever!
