Property Ratings at Hidden Valley
I have had a wonderful experience so far….I am great full for my neighbors that have welcomed me! I look forward to all the wonderful memories that I am sure I will make!
I absolutely love living here! The apartment is spacious, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed with modern finishes. The management team is outstanding—always friendly, responsive, and genuinely caring about residents’ needs. The amenities are top-notch, including a clean fitness center, a beautiful pool, and cozy communal spaces that are perfect for relaxing or working. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to shopping, dining, and transportation. Quiet, safe, and welcoming—this place truly feels like home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic place to live!
Everyone is very nice! The maintenance workers wave when I am during by them! I appreciate all the hard work everyone is doing to make this living experience a good one in this apartment complex! Thanks!!
Overall, living in this community has been good to excellent . Unfortunately, there has been some concerns with new management and lack of empathy towards the elderly.
Very nice neighbors, lovely place, fast service. The main office staff are very respectful, dependable and quick to adress concerns and requests.
I continue to enjoy this apartment community. I’ve recently had some questions that I needed answered regarding pets, renters insurance and new security… Ruben was extremely responsive and helpful.
Great move-in experience. Maintenance has been very responsive. The amenities are well taken care of. Only thing is I wish the gym had more resistance training equipment but I'm told they have plans to upgrade the gym.
It’s a great place to live, I would recommend this place to all my friends. The parking is accessible along with great neighbors. I couldn’t ask for any better.
I feel like management is trying to get things together by reducing the parking for visitation so that people don’t keep using it for storage. Another one is that they’re getting on top of like the poop that people are leaving behind when not picking up their pets. I feel like they have changed a lot in a good way to keep this community well put together
I personally love my building and the facilities. Dog friendly is a major plus. Maintenance is very friendly and on top of things as well as admin staff. The amenities are kept up.
I just moved in at the beginning of this month. I am so excited to be living here. I fell in love with these apartments the first time that I set eyes on them. The apartment is very spacious, I have tons of extra space. I'm just ready to get started!
Love this place. Love my neighbors. Love the nature. Maintaince is awesome. I love living near the bike trail as you get to see alot of nature in the hills.
Hidden Valley is a great place to call home in Simi Valley! With its modern layouts, two pools, Jacuzzis, and a gym, it really feels like a little oasis of modern living. Plus, it's right across from the recreation center and park, and there's a bike path and hiking trails nearby, making it super convenient for outdoor fun. The staff here are super attentive and always quick to help with any issues. It's not just about having a comfy place to stay; it's about being part of a friendly community where neighbors are nice and the staff is always ready to lend a hand. Overall, Hidden Valley offers an amazing living experience!
This is a great place to live. I loved the location next to the hills, it was quiet, the noise I would hear is the train but even that I didn’t realize. The staff was helpful, quick. Great neighbors and safe.
Very nice pools and landscaping. Neighbors are very nice. Pet friendly. The train is to loud. U can hear it threw the windows. Lots of stairs
For the most part, living here is nice. Some neighbors have parties late into the night on weekdays, and occasionally I have found trash left around the apartment complex. Other than that, it’s been a good experience living in this complex.
I moved here in March 2023. The staff here is amazing. The neighbors are great. The apartments are beautiful and very well taken care of any problems you have they fix immediately I’m so happy here it’s like living in a park. Best apartment I’ve ever lived in.
Hidden Valley is very peaceful and quiet. The management and maintenance teams work hard to keep this much nicer than the apartment in Chatsworth that I moved away from. There is no neighbor drama, and that’s been so refreshing! This has been and still is like a breath of fresh air living here. I’ve read some of the older reviews for Hidden Valley and changes have been made before I moved here in 2019. There is a new maintenance team, as well as new management that quickly takes care of any and all issues.
Best place I've ever lived. Clean, quiet, and super convenient to train access. Management is always friendly and maintenance is always professional and punctual.
I've lived here for 12 plus years, they rushed these buildings and didnt build them correctly. The homeless are always around, the main maintenance man miguel is super lazy and pretends he is doing his job well, but chris has to always clean up after him. Chris has the knowledge to be able make this place run smooth, but between miguel and the owners of this place, he can never get approval to make the changes that needed to made. Also, they charge you for water, trash and Sewage. They also split the Bill's of those three between all of the units in the building, so if one unit uses more, you pay more. Also, people from the other units and the houses up the street from us, come onto our property and dump in our trash cans. They split the bill based on the weight of the trash can and do nothing to stop the illegal dumping. The process they charge for these units isnt worth it, plus the water in simi valley is polluted with jet fuel from the rocketdyne spill years ago. Dont more here, it really isnt worth it.
so far a very nice complex compared to some of the places I've stayed! quiet area nice walk down to the mall. very nice upgraded apartments. the pet park could use some grass it's all dirt but other than that!
this used to be a nice place to live but not now. My kitchen cabinets look terrible-they sent someone to look at them and they aren't bad enough to be replaced! how bad do they have to be? I have lived here almost 10 years and asked about painting my apartment. they said if I brought containers they would give me paint and I could do it-I should spend my money to take care of their property??? used to offer carpet cleaning once a year-no more-now you are expected to pay for it. this place is going downhill in terms of customer service. I will not be renewing my lease!
This complex takes pride in maintaining its clean appearance, there is security patrol and its a safe and welcoming environment. If you have pets, they are welcomed here and the management makes sure doggie waste bags are always stocked full! The walls are so thick that I wouldn't know if I had neighbors! Its so super quiet and everyone here is super friendly. I have been renting apartments since my 20's, twenty years later I can say this apartment complex is by far the best place to live. I have been a happy resident for 3 years and intend to stay. The maintenance team are on top of everything, if you need something fixed or a new a/c filter, they are on it in a less than an hour! Amazing service and great value for the amenities you get here, a washer/dryer a microwave, refrigerator, Air Conditioning and access to two clean pools and a air conditioned Gym with two televisions, assigned free carport parking with ample storage units. You even have access to a media center at anytime. Hidden Valley is a wonderful place to call home!
These apartments are beautiful! Clean, spacious and well mantained. Short walk to bus stop and Simi Amtrak Station. Anytime I have had a maintenance issue, management has been right on top of it, and it is usually taken care of that day. They are going to be recoating all the the patios and walkways in the building this week too! Parking is ample, my guests have never had an issue parking. My building is pretty quiet, I live on the third floor and don't have to deal with too much noise.
Clean and nice looking, but, unfortunately this complex was built with cheap materials. Some dysfunctional design work in cupboards and linen closets, awkward doors that open into closet doors, etc. Not so private patios, with loud trains and metro link station right in the middle of the complex. Toxic fumes from the trains going into your windows. Sound proof windows, but, you still hear the train. Thin walls and floors, we can hear the neighbors talk and sneeze, loud TV's and radios. Just being honest.
