Constant water turnoff often without notice and often unable to pay rent on line as system is down. Main purpose of office staff seems to be giving out useless junk and addressing residents as "loungers"! How professional is that?

One of the worst apartment complexes I have ever lived at. I would never recommend anyone living here and will definitely be telling everyone I know to not live here. From the water shut offs the first 6 months I lived here, to maintenance not being done (have things we submitted that are marked complete but don’t get done). There is no way to know if they actually came unless I check on the online portal. Communication from management is not good. When the lease is up will certainly be living anywhere else.

Things need to change with this place. Management is very rude (some people in the office are great) then they save face by appearing very pleasant with their comments on reviews. Sell you on the property then leave you out to dry. When I left they charged me for things that didn't exist then told me to take it up with corporate.

I tried to move here with my friend who is a current resident, and has been living at Hideaway and paying rent to them faithfully for three years. We simply asked to move into a renovated apartment and initially the manager promised us that shouldn’t be a problem. Long story short, they ended up making everything complicated leaving my friend stuck in her apartment without a roommate and leaving me having to find somewhere else to move to. I don’t understand why it was so difficult/impossible for them to simply allow us to switch to a renovated apartment at the end of my friend’s lease? I even offered to sign a brand new lease under my name, all I wanted was for us to be able to switch to a renovated apartment. I was even willing to pay higher rent. Extremely disappointing.

Decent apartments in a great location. Renovated units look nice but the actual renovations were done poorly. It also gets super hot in the summer and AC doesn’t fully cool the apartment despite having the AC running 24/7. Electric bill gets into the $300 for a 2b2ba unit.

Greystar so far has provided a sub-par experience that doesn’t come close to being described as luxurious. The management team is uncaring of the residents and some of the maintenance staff is uncouth and unprofessional. Outdoor amenities and areas are poorly maintained. The apartments look nice on the surface, but they do not seal from the outside and we have constant water main problems. It is appallingly obvious that since Greystar acquired this property they have not cared for providing quality service, and instead are solely focused on capital gain. Very disappointed with our experience.

The front office needs more training in customer service. A couple are nice but everyone I talk to says the same thing. They have attitude and I stay away as much as possible. Very cold.

From multiple water outages; cheap old windows which do not keep out heat/cold/sound; nearly $300 electric bill during summer with the AC running non-stop to keep temp around 80 degrees; roof leaking; fancy showroom clubhouse that is only open during business hours; bathroom fans which do not actually vent; cars being broken into; being required to set an appointment to meet with the manager.

While we do understand the frustrations with summer heat and possible default in cooling systems we do pride ourselves on rapid response times, especially in these types of emergency situations. Unfortunately, there are some things we cannot help such as the exorbitant heat the valley experienced this summer, and have even made improvements to the community such as with the sunscreen installation on all windows to mitigate heat loss and high electric bills possibly caused by a multitude of factors. Stay away from here! Construction started a few days after we moved in and it’s been almost a year with no end in sight. They turn off the water ALL THE TIME! They can’t fix anything in a reasonable time. We called in a water leak and the didn’t come for 4 days which resulted in mold growing in our children’s bedroom. We had to leave for a week and nobody even apologized. Then our washer broke, that took a week to resolve. They brought a new washer in and within a month it broke. They insisted on the warranty company fixing it. Which of course took longer. They didn’t care that we couldn’t do laundry. After the leak issue we found out the have Airbnbs on property. Why wasn’t that offered to us while our apartment was unlivable? They offered it to us to do laundry. So there we were lugging laundry for our family all over the property. A bedroom window was leaking. They brought a contractor out to fix it. He said the window needed to be replaced. They never replaced it. They are painting everything so they removed the weather stripping from all of our outside doors while the doors were getting painted. Now we are going to be exposed to the scorpion infestation for the next 24 hours. Myself, my son and my mother in law have all gotten flat tires from the nails riddled across our parking lot because it’s the main hub for construction supplies. Not to mention the roof tacks and nails in the rocks right outside of our front door. My mother in law unknowingly stepped on a roof tack and it went all the way through her shoe. Property management didn’t care at all. Then on top of that they cost for all of the renovations are on the residents. Our renewal offer included an additional $100 a month amenities fee to go along with the trash fee and your parking spot fee and package fee. They nickel and dime you on everything.

WARNING NO AIR! JUST moved in and have been facing a major issue with my air conditioning system. Despite notifying the management a week ago, they have not fixed the problem. My apartment has been 82 degrees during the day even with the lousy portable A/C they offered me. Couple other issues: - design flaw with the washer and dryer door, as it blocks the detergent dispenser, making it impossible to open and use it properly - took three days to receive a trash can for their valet service On a positive note, the renovations are nice. However, the slow and incompetent management response to maintenance issues overshadows this aspect. I strongly recommend potential renters to be cautious and prepared to deal with the lack of urgency from the management team when it comes to addressing essential concerns.

Terrible experience here! My master bedroom and bathroom flooded from a leak in the roof. The restoration company didn't bother to open the walls before placing equipment, after two weeks they finally opened the walls just to find that it was still wet (not surprising!) took another two weeks to dry out. A month with 7 machines blowing constantly which tripled my electric bill. They scheduled to redo the drywall then it rained again and it flooded again because they never fixed the problem so another week of machines. Over a month of my bedroom furniture in my living room (over Christmas mind you) sleeping on the couch and all Management offered was a $500 rent credit stating that if it were my own home I would have to find other accommodations and pay for repairs myself. Fact is, I DON'T own and pay rent so I don't have to deal with repairs like this! In addition to that, the water is shut off constantly for hours at a time, units have single paned windows, pest control issues, dog poop everywhere and discourteous staff who really don't care how they are impacting residents' lives. All of the amenities (including the gym) have been closed and under construction for months. This is such a disappointing place to live. The location is great but, the complex is in disrepair and the new management can't seem to figure anything out.

Let alone the issues with the apartments themselves, this is truly some of the worst management I have ever experienced. These apartments have single paned windows, and absolutely no insulation in the outside walls. Electric bills are exorbitant. Bug problems that are never addressed, despite a years worth of requests to address it. Buildings are very old and falling apart. The units are horrifically overpriced for what they are. I understand the premium location, however the up charge for it is extreme. You can go down the street and pay the same as they are charging for a FAR nicer property and unit. We lived here during the transition of management from Crown Court to Hideaway North Scottsdale and it couldn’t have been handled worse. All of the poor transition of power planning between the two management companies was passed on to the residents. All of the staff is unprofessional and rude. The amount of time I’ve taken away from both my job and my life to babysit them to get them to do their own jobs is unacceptable. This is clearly a problem from management down, as it extends far beyond front office staff. I have yet to have a singular pleasant interaction with them. Staff displays no empathy when dealing with problems. They rely on saying “well you signed a contract” even when they are in violation of it themselves. We had to BEG to get any lease renewal information and even still were not given it in an appropriate time frame to establish whether we wanted to continue our tenancy there. We moved out and are still dealing with their incompetence. The problems with this place are too many to list. I recommend enough to STAY AWAY!

It’s by far the worst apartment complex I’ve lived in and I’ve lived in apartments for over 30 years all over the county. The office and corporate office staff are not friendly or helpful and if there’s something wrong (I mean really wrong) the seem to care less. They don’t even call you they just send basic blow off emails. I can’t wait to move out! I don’t feel safe here!

We touched it out at Crown Court for 4 years. During our time there we experienced a major flooding of our apartment. Twice. Once was from the kitchen sink backing up nightly for almost 2 months. The maintenance crew would just pour bleach down the drain to mask the smell. Finally, they called a plumber to fix the issue and it had turned out to be a clog at the other end of the building that was backing all of the water into our apartment. Second, There was a major roof leak that left a gaping hole in our bathroom, ruined the carpets and destroyed several of our personal items. It took maintenance over a month to fix the hole and they left plaster all of the mirror and floor. We transferred to another apartment which had not been cleaned from the previous tenants. The cleaning lady knocked on our door 2 days after we moved in. Management was very unapologetic about all of it. We stayed there because of the area but couldn't take the incompetence of management anymore. We found 2 Scorpions in our living room and asked to have our apartment sprayed and was told they would come on Tuesday (they never came) I called, we'll you were on the list is all I got for an answer. So they came another week later. While the exterminator was working on our apartment, I advised him that management said that this was the first scorpion sighting and he said there was no way that was possible. So they were dishonest about that. There was graffiti on the building one morning and I reported it to the office and they claimed that it was maintenance marking the buildings for repainting. I saw a maintenance worker taking pictures of it and asked them if they were repainting and they said no and it was clearly graffiti. When we left the complex, we were assured more than once that we would be given back our deposit less our water bill and that our apartment was being completely refurbished so just to make sure it was "picked up" I spent hours scrubbing that apartment and took pictures of it and how clean it was even though they said it was being refurbished, I just didn't feel right without it being spotless. I again was assured that I'd receive a check. We got a bill in the mail for cleaning. The representative who was completely dishonest to us would not answer our calls to clear up the matter left us with no choice to hire an attorney to handle the matter for us. Bad business and a terrible way to treat tenants who stuck it out after several bad experiences there.

I have a wonderful 2 BR, 2 BATH, LR, DINING AREA and a den. I LOVE IT. I live across the street from our wonderful pool. It's peaceful and quiet. I have been here for five years and have no intention of moving. I have many lovely friends and the office personnel are always gracious and helpful as is the maintenance personnel.

I don't know how i got so lucky! I moved here from Denver last fall and I researched, in depth, every single apartment complex within a 30 miles radius of my new office in North Scottsdale. Crown Court is an amazing complex! Although it is managed by one of those huge, corporate companies, you would never know it! Every experience I've had with mgmnt and maintenance has been top notch (thanks Anthony!) Big dogs are allowed, part of why C.C. caught my eye to begin with, and all of the dog owners are great! The pools, fitness center, front office, even the grounds are always in fantastic shape. There are always landscapers, maintenance, and staff working round the clock and nice as can be! ive had three service requests and they were all completed the same or next day - fantastic! The actual apartments are also great, it feels like an actual home to me and I haven't even been here for an entire yearn! I highly recommend with 5 big stars, make sure not to pass this one over in your search!!!

I have lived in a lot of apartments and this is by far the best I've lived in. The 2 bed 2 bath floor plan works great with myself, fiance, dog and cat. They office employees are wonderful and extremely friendly. Every time I see them they greet me by name and are always eager to help with anything. My neighbors are also wonderful and extremely courteous. It feels like I live in a suburban neighborhood more than an apartment complex.

The Crown Court is on Princess Drive which is a private road with very beautiful cactus and flowers. The Princess Hotel is three or four blocks away at the other end of the drive. The apartments are spacious, and the maintenance crew is extremely prompt and effective. As with most places, the rent goes up a bit each year. I would recommend the Crown Court to anyone who enjoys a lovely and peaceful setting.

Located in a great area of Scottsdale, easy to get around. Nice community and family friendly. If you have a complaint don't even try to call the office they screen phone calls and don't answer. So, after you are locked into a lease and need anything or have a complaint, you will have to walk down to the office for everything. One huge issue that has been a problem since we moved in is people not cleaning up after their dogs. One nice thing is this community is now a Pillars community which means you can move to any other Pillars communities in other towns. 2 pools is a plus and the fact that they are open 24hrs is really nice. Some good and some bad but with everywhere you live I think you run into that.

This is my second year living at Crown Court. I moved in last year when the previous management company owned it, and had no problems at that time. Since changing hands, the complex has only gotten better. They have made many improvements to the community areas, including new pool furniture, new grills, and new landscaping. The staff has always been friendly to me, and the community perks (continental breakfast, ice cream socials, etc) seem to have gone over well with the residents. I have had very few instances where I've needed to call maintenance, but they have always been quick to respond. I really like living here.
