At Higby you have a place to live comfortably, accessible to everywhere and with great facilities to enjoy life.
Extremely friendly management and maintenance staff. The amenities are amazing and apartments style is very nice and reasonable for the price. The main draw backs for us are that the kitchens have rather small appliances (at least in the 1 bed + den) and the street noise can be a bit much with open windows facing Ashby Ave. Unfortunately, experienced a break-in to the bike room but security has since been improved which I'm pleased about.
Moved into our new apartment recently. Enjoying the fantastic views and over all comfort of the place. A calm atmosphere with all conveniences.
I have been living here for about 7 months and I have greatly enjoyed my experience so far. Management is great, very helpful with everything. I love the apartment itself and the community as well, I would recommend it to anyone!

So far I like very much the apartment. It is functional, quiet, pretty and high class. Everything I need to live everyday life is here! Higby is centrally located. It is closed to one of the best market in the Bay Area, public transportation to everywhere you want to go and few feet to the freeway. What else you can ask.
Higby apartment is excellent place to live.It is peaceful and friendly.

Do yourself a favor and don’t move here. It’s a nice building but there are endless problems. The parking garage is constantly breaking, causing me to be locked in or locked out. When you email management they respond weeks later if your lucky, never if unlucky. The package locker is kept in an open garage and packages are frequently stolen. I wanted to like living here but every step has been terrible.
Its awful. The building management is truest incompetent
The current building management is so bad it makes living here almost untennable. They do not respond to resident issues, they are slow to fix problems if they get fixed at all. They regularly cancel service requests i submit, or just ignore them entirely. I used to love living here but am now moving out.
