Randolph is a fairly large town, just inland from Quincy and Weymouth on Interstate 93. The drive to Boston is only about 25 minutes and MBTA rail service is available as well, making it a highly convenient location for commuters or folks who just enjoy the occasional jaunt into the city.
The community itself is mainly residential, with clusters of locally-owned shops and restaurants on the north and south ends of Main Street. Goldstein Open Space and Bertha Soule Memorial Park near the center of town provide terrific grounds for getting outdoors and enjoying some fresh air, and the huge nature preserves near the coast are easily within day trip distance.

Property Ratings at Highland House Apartments
Please save your health and sanity before moving into this complex. They are infested with black mold In the walls (they are not treating the mold, instead continuously painting over it; & it comes right back). Dumpster area is disgusting always filthy which cases a rodent infestation. There's so many rodents (rats not just mice) running around the parking lot and dumpster area. They get into your car in the winter for shelter. There's also mice infestations in the buildings. There is a boiler issue in a few of the buildings which causes continuous shut off of the water for unknown repairs that never get fixed because the water is either always off or it is cold. There has been many occasions the heat shuts off and the hot water shuts off. also there are times where there is no heat when it is well below 40 degrees. There is a roach infestation as well. There is leaks in the hallways and holes in the ceilings in the front hallways. The front door is broken in 2 of the buildings. No security. Someone always steals your packages, and there is nothing the front desk can do to help you because they say the cameras do not point in that direction (I honestly think they are for show and do not work.) your belongings will get infested with mold as well and the rats will chew through things. please get a better place. Don't let the amenities fool you the gym is not as expected and the equipment at times is not is service. The pool you have to pay for and they never clean it, it's disgusting that you don't even want to swim in it. They also make you pay for any addl. guest to access the pool. The heat and hot water they pay for is never working so it's not technically included if it doesn't work half the months out of the year. The walls are so thin, you barely get any privacy, no sleep because you can hear the noise from the hallways and then noise from the apartments above. This place is absolutely disgusting and the staff don't care they only do so much because that is their job and they get paid to do so. At times I feel they honestly do not care about human decency because if they did they would do more to provide to the people who live there. Instead they patch up work over and over and let women and children live there breathing in all of that mold! I called the board of Health multiple times they said the landlord needs to treat it, but the landlord never does; they only patch it up over and over. It's soooo sad, I don't want anyone else to go through this.
The assistant property manager is very helpful and will make sure your experience is as smooth as possible.
