Located in northern Central Texas, Fort Worth is often coupled with neighboring Dallas. But Fort Worth has a unique character all of its own. Equal parts Wild West and modern sophistication, Fort Worth is known as the City of Cowboys and Culture. In Fort Worth, you can just as easily visit a championship rodeo as you can a world-class museum.
There is no shortage of world-class museums in Fort Worth. You have your choice of exploring the Kimbell Art Museum, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, and many more. Head over to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District to step into the Old West and learn the history of the livestock industry in Texas. Every Friday and Saturday, you can witness the Stockyards Championship Rodeo at Cowtown Coliseum.

Property Ratings at Highland Park
I’m giving them a 5 star. From the moment I called and first spoke with Savannah to actually moving in, I’ve had nothing but a positive experience. The office team is professional and nice. Savannah and Kenda have been exceptional to helping me with everything. Joanne and Richard are awesome at putting together apartment community gatherings. I’ve never had a welcome package when I moved into a place and I got a great one from here. The noise I hear is very limited and mostly muted from neighbors. ( unless they are being overly loud - but then that would be at any apartment) the grounds are always cleaned up, the pools are opened… great location, quiet, and cozy. So far both thumbs up for me with a 5 star.
These apartments don't have the bells and whistles of newer apartments, but they have a stellar reputation with people living here. Quality of life for a renter is how well they respond to maintenance requests, bug issues, etc., and how well the front office responds. They are right on it. Plus the twice a month Care team offering special treats, and you have a comfortable, reliable place to live.
I found this place on Apartments.com and was super excited. Unfortunately after living here 5 months all I want is to move out. The stench of weed is everywhere, the walls are so thin you can smell it inside your apartment and in the walkways. The AC units are old and so are the windows so be prepared for high electric bills.
We have called numerous times to get our AC fix but still no progress. Even with the AC on the temperature in the apartment steadily increases even on one of the cooler days of the week. If you're looking for an apartment skip this location. As your rent will go to events to "beat the heat" and have ice cream sundaes rather than beating the heat with working HVAC equipment.
I have lived at Highland Park Appartments for 3 years and absolutely loved it! It’s close to Whole Foods, Waterside and the I20 and not far from downtown. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful, the maintainace normally has gotten to requests the day of our request which is awesome! The pool and outdoor area are always well maintained and clean as well. The manager, Roxanne has always been helpful and available when needed for questions. Highly recommend!
I enjoyed living here at first, with nice neighbors and a good location. However, after a few years, I can’t believe how they continue to impose huge increases ($50 ) to your rent every year while they let the condition of the apartments age and deteriorate. The amenities, like the pool/hot tub in our section of the complex, is always dirty and broken (while they keep the pool by the office pristine so visitors will see it). Several of my neighbors have termites, and my place has water damage that’s been painted over. I can smell my neighbors smoking weed through the walls. Also crime has increased and there’s been no effort to increase security. I used to feel very safe here but now I can’t wait to move to someplace safer and worth my hard-earned money.
My husband and I have been living her for a year and are about to renew our lease. I absolutely love the location, where our apartment is located is perfect to get to the trails which is great since I have 2 dogs. The size of our apartment is great, you can tell it is an older building but it isn't bad. The office staff is nice, even though changes quite a bit. Maintenance is can be quick when you need anything fixed which is nice but if you need something big fixed it will take a while for them to do anything. The only major downside is I wish more people would pick after their dogs, I have 2 dogs it's not that hard to pick up after them. All in all this is a great place to live!
Very well groomed. RIght on the Trinity river so it's great for the active lifestyle. Great floor plans and a beautiful rec area!
Apartments are older. Office staff is pretty nice. A little slow sending maintenance out. They'll fix things, but stuff like the ac they just refill with coolant, they don't really look at it. In a really nice neighborhood. Quiet and right by the trinity trails. Parking can be a little difficult at times, especially summer when everyone goes to the pool.
I've been living here for 5 years and I love it. My requests are handled timely and professionally.
These apartments are a little on the old side (I believe they were built in the 80's!) but nonetheless, they have become a nice home for my husband and newborn daughter. They're located around a very quiet, cute neighborhood and I've never heard of any instances of break-ins or violence happenings around here. My family and I live on the second floor of our apartment and the one somewhat negative thing I can say is, is that I don't think it's ventilated very well. During the summer it can get extremely hot and during the winter pretty cold. Luckily we have fans and such to keep us warm or cool but I would think that's it's because the pipes or whatever they're called are old. Other than that, my neighbors are very nice, management is cool and whenever I call to have something fixed they usually have someone over the same or next day. The landscape is kept us nicely and there is a cool tennis court & swimming pool here. My family and I live in the two-bedroom suites and I can say that the rooms are very spacious. My husband and I have friends over and there is always enough room for people to sit or stand. You can paint the walls here if you wanted and decorate it however you like. Of course, you would have to re-paint the apartments back to its original color but that's not a problem for me seeing as we will be living here for a while. The apartments are also located near plenty of grocery stores and restaurants but far enough way to not be near all the ruckus. There's also a mall a few exits down on the freeway, so again everything you'd need is pretty close by. But yeah, I'm definitely glad to call this place home for my little family and pleased with our stay here.
The quality of these apartments is wonderful, the staff is extremely friendly and hard working, and the neighbors are great. The two pools are great to go swimming in on days like we have in August. The one downside to such a great place... the cable provider is terrible. You can only have Ygnition (which has now turned into Access Media 3). Other than that, highly recommend this place.
I have been in this complex now for 6 months after finding the apartment through this site. The staff is amazing, I get immediate response to any service requests and it is the quietest place I have ever lived!
