I’ve lived here for a looong time and current management and maintenance teams are the best. They are reactive and have put a noticeable effort in making this a nice place to live. Grounds are well kept, the pool is lovely, units are being updated. I’ve left bad reviews in the past but feel compelled to update.

I have been living here for 7 months and it has been the best because I have never had problems. the office staff are friendly. It's a peaceful place.
I am in love with my new home. This community is awesome. I feel safe as well as comfortable. Mrs. Isabelle in the office, is amazing. She is friendly, courteous and very professional on the phone as well as in person. I must say she made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in the door. Maintenance is quick and efficient. The landscape is beautiful and grounds are kept as well. I am happy and content. I am happy to call this my home.

This is a great place to live. I have lived here for five years and have been very happy here. The apartments are spacious, Maintenance is prompt, the trees that line the entire roadway into the complex and throughout the complex are very pretty in all seasons. There is a park nearby (a walkway from the apartments to Letchworth Road takes you near the park, just cross the street) and there are two tennis courts, a pavilion with tables, and a basketball court) and a small playground for children. The apartment complex also has a pavilion with picnic tables. The apartment complex has a very enjoyable pool surrounded by tables and chairs and the pool is very well - maintained. Lawn maintenance is great as well. Some of the apartments have newly re-modeled kitchens and bathrooms, full size washers and dryers are available. Weiss market is very close, within walking distance and a bank and an Italian restaurant are at the corner. The location is very near downtown Harrisburg and a bus stop is near the corner at Letchworth Road and the Weiss Market. The bus will take you downtown to avoid paying for parking (which is very expensive in downtown Harrisburg). The photos are very accurate. This is a great place. Janet MB
The leasing policies at this place since management changed are draconian. My daughter lived in a basement apartment for two years that recently flooded (most of the carpet was soaked and some of her possessions in the closet were water damaged). She had 45 days left on her lease and was considering renewing when the flooding event happened. After being told that no above-ground apartments would be available any time soon, she decided to move out due to the circumstances. The management, in their generosity, told her that even if she left when her lease was up and payed it in full, she would owe an extra month's lease with a penalty on the order of 50% because there is a 60-day notification policy in the lease. We're considering legal options now, but to others: avoid the basement apartments - they get moldy in the summer and obviously can have flooding issues, and don't expect any sign of humanity from this management - they are purely in it for the money.

I would like to apologize for the inconvenience and issues that your daughter had during her residency with us. I understand your frustration, but the legally binding contract that is signed by all new residents before obtaining possession, states that everyone is required to give a 60 day written notice to end their lease contract. Please understand that while it is frustrating, we were simply following the terms of the lease that your daughter agreed to, as we do with all of our residents. Additionally, the flooding issue was address and rectified immediately, and all residents affected were informed they were able to return to their apartments the next day, and all affected residents were compensated for their inconvenience. Highland Park supplies all studio apartments, which are located in the basement of the buildings, with a dehumidifier to assist with any moisture issues that may arise in the summer months. As with all questions, comments and concerns about apartments, we cannot address them if we are not made aware of them. We strive to maintain and excellent rapport with all of our residents and prospects, and sincerely apologize for the frustrating issues caused while you were a resident.
We just moved in and oh my I am blown away. Management and all the staff go beyond what's expected. Beautiful layout,pool and even better a washer/dryer in the apartment ! I may never leave here

Beautiful area to live in, very separated from any busy city life. Apartments well kept minus the issues I've had with A/C and my toilet. But any issue was fixed right away!
